Janus as FleshCousin

AU Infodump below

Lore: Jaynus is a the same creature as FleshCousin and has similar behaviors. Instead of copying how players look he just copies certain aspects like hair or clothing which is why he now consistently has long hair. Unlike FleshCousin Jaynus can fully communicate and doesn't just copy what others say.

Alliances: Pawstil, Remus, and L0g4n. Pawstil is his friend from a savior complex Pawstil has, when they met Jaynus struggled to speak fully and limped, so he's convinced Jay still needs help. Remus and him are friends because they're both hated by MANY elevator goers despite not really doing anything harmful against other people. L0g4n originally asked for help in communicating with others since he saw Jaynus' notebook full of people's behaviors so they bonded over that but now regularly hangout.

In Game Behavior: He doesn't do much besides staring at all the elevator goers. If the player stands right next to him in his hit box unlike the others who push them away he'll pull out a gun from his trench coat and headshot them immediately.

Logan as Prototype

Lore: L0g4n is loosely based on prototype. He has no idea why he exists or if he's supposed to have a purpose. He used to be very vocal and inquisitive but after being called annoying and told he asks too many questions he emotionally shutdown and just observes the other elevator goers to learn more.

Alliances: Pawstil, Virgil, Remus, and Jaynus. Pawstil helps L0g4n understand people's emotions and motivations but also helps him be more of a person, he was the one who introduced Logan to astronomy and the concept of showing interests through stickers that now decorate his body. Virgil enjoys the fact that it doesn't scare L0g4n like the other elevator goers and essentially claimed L0g4n as it's friend and L0g4n was unaware he could say no. Remus discovered L0g4n is practically indestructible and likes testing his new weapons on him and L0g4n is continuously trying to understand him. Jaynus is just as unaware how people work as L0g4n so they originally bonded over sharing notes about people but now hangout regularly and now are often confused as a couple.

In game behavior: Refuses food from players stating he has no need for them. If offered food multiple times he'll shove the player away causing 10 damage and apologize stating he enjoys his personal space. If he's sprayed with the spray bottle he'll glitch shocking the player causing 50 damage and breaking his glasses.

I feel like the issue with the “Thomas doesn’t owe his fans anything” attitude that a lot of sanders sides defenders take kind of.. keeps him from claiming responsibility for his actions?

Think of it this way. If you tell a person that they never owe people shit, then they’ll just take and take without recourse. They’ll lie and cheat and shift blame to avoid any accountability. When you don’t hold people responsible for their negative actions, it reinforces that they can continue the behavior, often to the detriment of the people around them.

It’s all “Thomas doesn’t owe you anything” this and that. Until he’s not paying artists. Until he’s firing one of the main producers of a series while acting like they left on their own term. Until he’s using AI for art because of said firing. Until he’s milking his fans for money while not putting out the content he’s promised to.

Yes, true. Thomas doesn’t owe anyone anything.

I know there's like no canon evidence that Janus enjoys being around Virgil but they spent years as dark sides and being hated by the core sides together. You cannot tell me they wouldn't form some kind of trauma bond or family dynamic.

I like to think that now translates to regressed Jan silently hanging around Virgil who was forced to allow it by Patton because "Janus is just a kid. He's harmless."

Virgil hates it but little Janus genuinely has no clue of the one sided dynamic and big Janus simply doesn't care because it's funny that Virgil has beef with a kid.
