Help why does this sound like my parents???

Bruce yelled at Tim a little too much on patrol but he doesn’t really know how to say sorry cause what Tim did was super dangerous but he still shouldn’t have yelled so much

Bruce slowly and awkwardly opens Tim’s bedroom door to see the teenager (?) angrily typing away on his computer

Instead of trying to explain himself or fail a stunted apology, Bruce leaves a bowl of Tim’s favorite fruit all cut up and a steaming cup of Alfred’s tea that he made (begged) the butler make

And under the cup of tea is a sticky note with a small heart

The next day Bruce knows things are all good between them cause Tim bumps against his shoulder lightly as they pass each other in the hallway

I love the term "royal advisor" applied to Alfred, and I also enjoy "Evil Royal Advisor" as a mockibg nickname across some parts of Gotham due to how they see and judge his role to young Bruce

Is he “evil” or did he just politely, if firmly, deny unfettered access to a grieving 8 year old child even to Gotham’s most gilded elite? Maybe his reputation among high society is terrible simply because he was looking out for Bruce’s best interests and refused to trust anyone else (rightfully so, their intentions were never pure).

i’m more interested in unconventional or atypical takes on A/B/O based worlds. specifically multi-pack dynamics, where one pack can have members of other packs, or even smaller packs altogether, within it, under a ‘head alpha’

just for fun i’ve been building on the idea of Bruce as a head alpha with the batfamily being his primary pack, but his broader pack also includes members like Clark and Selina, and their people, too.

Clark has his own pack with Lois and Jon, but since he is also one of Bruce’s multiple mates, then Bruce considers Lois and Jon as an extended part of his pack.

it’s an old and dated dynamic that so few in the world play by, but no one ever tells Bruce that because he didn’t have anyone when his parents died, so of course he would try to make everyone a part of his family

Damien not knowing that dogs only live 10-16 years

A family pet passed away recently so I decided to funnel my sadness into Damien.

Give me a Damien who had never been allowed animals in the League and if they were discovered, Ra's forced him to kill them or give them away depending on what kind of animal it was.

Give me a Damien who in the back of his head knows animals don't live forever but doesn't understand how old Ace is when he gets there.

And this boy gets so attached to animals.

Give me a Damien who doesn't understand what happened when Titus brings him to Ace, who passed away in his sleep. Who believes someone killed one of their dogs.

And he's angry first, because that's safer, and he's freaking out and trying to figure out who did it and why when Dick finds him. And they bring Ace to the vet and the Vet says he was just old. Dick tries so hard to be comforting and is doing his best but that's his childhood dog right there.

Give me a Damien who suits up and interrupts a Watchtower Meeting to demand Batman get the JLD to bring Ace back. And he's trying so hard to be angry.

But this boy is 10.

And when Bruce, not Batman, offers him a hug, he breaks down right then and there and starts sobbing and asking why Ace had to die. Wasn't he good? He was trying so hard, he thought he was doing better.

And Bruce is wiping at his tears and telling him he was good, it wasn't his fault. Ace was old, very old for a big dog. He was almost 17.

Give me a Bruce who excuses himself from the meeting and picks Damien up to bring him home, to cuddle his kids and to cry in peace.
