imladris lads :D it started off as a few doodles of gildor bc of a great prompt i received from an anon a few weeks ago, and then spiralled into something else entirely bc i havent really taken the time to explore much of anything imladris-related? i really like the lindir-is-maglor concept so heres my take on how it couldve happened haha

TRSB 2024 art 1: Reluctant Audience

@tolkienrsb I think that 4th Age may not be a cakewalk for anyone (especially not Elrond) after all, but they will just have to deal with it. Specifically, this time there is a meeting with the High King.

Characters (left to right): Finarfin (with the crown), Erestor (short in black), Elrond (feeling under-dressed), Glorfindel (looking good in blue). Also please notice both the dragonfly motif I have included in the Imladris folks' clothes (this may or may not be an elven political statement), and the wing comparison (Elrond's metaphorical, but somehow very real ones and the set embroidered on Finarfin's robe). Have I included more easter eggs that may or may not deal with elven politics in this piece? Perhaps, but you'll have to look for those all by yourselves.

My finished submission for this year's @tolkienrsb is about a young prince with a younger half-brother who constantly ruins his regal vibes. @ettelene picked up my concept for this piece and I'm looking forward to reading the story soon! 😁

@tolkienocweek Day 4: Gaps and Ghosts | Arwen’s Daughters

Tolkien mentioned that Arwen had daughters, but neither named or numbered them. I personally headcanon that she had two: twins, carrying on the family tradition. They are named Anáriel and Isilriel after Aragorn’s ancestors. Anáriel marries Elfwinë and becomes Queen of Rohan while Isilriel marries Elboron and becomes Lady of Ithilien. They are the delights of the realm, beloved by all the Free Peoples.

Astarion didn’t take too well to the “vampire spawn always land on all fours” comment. (:

Another stupid gameplay moment I had in the secret passage underneath Rosymorn Monastery. I thought Wyll was safe because the trap didn’t trigger where he was standing, then I had Astarion disarm the trap, and when the d20 screen faded Wyll was just… GONE. 😭 I felt so bad but it was kinda funny alongside the other comic.
