Hey, I'm sorry if I seemed like I was doubling down on that post. That wasn't my intention. I love talking about DBH and I was running with ideas brought up, I don't mean to seem like I was arguing. I was only intending to give my takes and run off with tangents on purpose because I had some thoughts. My apologies, I'll stop interacting with that post.

My Point is the Act Of Betrayal, not how deviant someone is based off of emotions

as I reiterated in my first response, it really doesn't matter if he's deviant or not, what emotions any of them feel is beside the point

it's the conciet that the betrayal was cyberlife using connor in general that Im arguing against

i guess in terms of disobeying, then no, he wasn't a deviant in that sense

but the anger and frustration that he could feel in spades Would have turned any other android deviant, so in reference to his unusually full range of emotions, he was more like a deviant than a non-deviant from the start

also, did he really know he had emotions? can one ascribe emotions to oneself when one believes deviation is the cause of faulty programming so absolutely? much like Data from star trek, I would say he thought his emotions were simply something else: a reaction based on subfunctions he was not consciously aware of; a front put on to make people like him and expedite his investigation; software instability that has nothing to do with actually feeling

or maybe he did know, was fully conscious of the fact he had emotions and simply in denial, he still thought cyberlife didn't know, still thought emotions were wrong in androids, and the fact they designed him to be like that would still be a betrayal

all in all, i think you have missed my point a little, but that's ok I only meant to say the betrayal is based in cyberlife exploiting those aspects in himself that he is killing other androids for to make him more efficient in that act of killing
