I just spotted this @queensofafrica_blackdolls by @taofick and it made my whole being right to my soul smile. A doll that looks like me, an African Queen. This touched my soul because I remember when I was about 7 years old my mum (RIP) used to use her left over pieces of Ankara fabric to make little outfits for my @barbie doll. This was my first initiation into the world of fashion, she taught me how to cut little dresses, tops and skirts and use a needle and thread to stitch them together and make wonderful outfits for my Barbie dolls, I loved it, I spent hours after school making outfits and countless nights dreaming of the next outfit I would make with her help. Gosh I miss you Mummy continue to Rest In Peace and thank you for all you taught me. . . @queensofafrica_blackdolls @barbie and @taofick thank you for putting the biggest SMILE on my face and for giving me back great memories of my childhood.
