This is very specific, but as a victim of the Bible Belt:
He reminds me of the mediocre, obviously-queer music director the church keeps around and hopes he’ll remain celibate or else they’d have to fire him despite barely paying him in the first place.

To those who still don’t understand:
You know how a grave would read: Jane Doe, Loving Wife? Alastor loathes the possibility that his grave would ever read: Alastor, Altruist.
(This is mainly targeted towards TikTok users.)

You can tell Alastor is the favorite because he got the entire budget for the last episode, but it should’ve gone towards making the Final Battle more emotionally impactful.
Also: Nifty?!?

Episode 5&6: CALLING IT NOW!
I think Lilith made a deal with Alastor that if he helped Charlie with her purgatory, he would get to rule hell afterwards, so long as he honored those who wished to be redeemed afterwards.
That “he almost beat you that time” to Vox could mean the fight got interrupted or Alastor had to flee, and maybe Lilith healed him, but with strings attached.
I mean Lucifer isn’t really evil like the other demons/hellborn, he just wanted to change things up and create like God.
But Alastor? Bro still chooses to be evil and is going for powergrabs whenever the opportunity is right.
I’m very doubtful that Alastor sees Charlie as his own daughter. I think he just made Lucifer jealous to urge him to help Charlie speak with heaven to make the plan work. If Lilith tried to convince Lucifer, he’d just tell her she was putting Charlie into harms way.
But on the off chance Alastor is her new “dad” it’s probably because he’s the next king of hell, but Im doubtful he’s involved INVOLVED with Lilith. Buy hey when THE Goddess of evil sings such sweet tunes, how could a radio demon not fall in love?
Also, poor Husker my widdle meow meow 🥺

What breaks my heart about Charlie…
…is that she breaks down in tears over a sinner’s forgiveness, but if the time ever comes where all the souls in hell finish their “purgatory” and go up to heaven, she’ll never be able to join them and receive God’s ultimate forgiveness as a hellborn.

Also: Why are people/citizens/commoners in Korean comics so comically mean? For what? Is this a reflection of their society or purely because they can’t make unique sources of conflict?
i’m not joking about how much i love webcomics btw. this is why stuff like webtoon feels so hostile to human life. webcomics are supposed to be for like, sporadically updated comics made by hobbyists about their unpublishable YA premises, or shockingly competent polished graphic novels that have nevertheless been running for 100 years and make no fucking sense, like, niche, labor of love projects hosted on vaguely pre-web2.0 sites and available to read completely for free. this is the best kind of media that exists
