Today was amazing! I took the day to relax and do things I was thinking about for weeks. I had brunch with a friend in a cute cafe wih modern-vintage decoration. It was great. I discovered that the cafe was a place where many portuguese poets and autors used to come for cultural gatherings in Porto! So inspiring 🤗 definetly a place I'll come back to study or drink a hot chocolate (as today 😋)
Then I went to a stationary shop (one of my favourite places 🖌️📓😻) to buy some nice paper and local postcards to send a letter to my friend ☺️
After going to post office I went to a special grocery shop which has lots of biological products and non plastic products and also a perfect section with lots of bulks products! You can choose the quantity you want and bring your own glass jars or fabric bags to fill them. It's awesome! It even has a machine that does peanut butter and you can also bring the quantity you want. I wanted to go to this place for some weeks and I finally had time to do it!
Great day!! (I'll share more photos about this post on next one)

Pomodoro is a time management method hack wich main goal is productivity and focused work. Typically you have to work for 25 minutes sessions of time (called pomodoro sessions) followed by a 5 minute break. When you work for 4 pomodoros (4 sessions of 25 minutes) with respective breaks you can have a bigger break- generally 15-30 minutes. And then the cycle repeats. I found this technique very motivational and I think that will help me on my practice sessions but you can use it for any task. There are a lot of apps using Pomodoro wich turns this a lot easier and fun! Currently I am trying Pomeapp. You can learn more about Pomodoro technique in this website
Today I didn't do so much. I organize some photos I want to print and I practice only 50 minutes. I think I didn't do anything acording to the plan. I got up at 8h30 am instead of 7h30, I didn't look at my bullet journal at the morning and I couldn't go swim because I needed my roomie come with me to have the discount since it was suposed to be the first date of swiming and I needed to enroll first. Such a non-inspiratonal first day of a challenge. But..not everything was bad! My practice session despite short was productive and I tried something new: the Pomodoro technique.

Day 1/100

Back again !
I have'nt used tumbrl for too long but now I came back with a thriling challenge! I believe that fresh starts are the key to motivation so I decided to start a new
100 days productivity challenge
But this time I want to focus this productivity challenge on four things:
1. Practice
2. Getting up early
3. Bullet Journal
4. Exercise
This is like having four challenges in one. I do this for me but I also want to inspire and motivate you! I hope you can share your challenges with me and go for this "project" together 👫👬👭
My goals for this challenge are:
1. Bassoon Practice
I want to increase my practice time and make it regular. I also want to be productive in that hours. So:
1. Practice 2h30 hours everyday
2. Only productive sessions count
3. At one day per week- saturday- I can practice just 2h00
4. Add half an hour to my practice sessions every 2 weeks
(so this two weeks 2h30, next 3h00, next 3h30 and so on until achieve 6 hours practice for two weeks)
The goal is to be regular even if it isn't enough hours at the begining. Quality and regularlity are better than quantity.
2. Getting up early
I want to have a sleep routine so I can feel better, stronger, disciplined and have "more me time" in the morning to organize my day and enjoy the quiet hours. So:
---- First week -----
On weekdays
1. Get up at 7h30 or earlier
2. Go to sleep at 00h00 or earlier
3. No tecnology at 23h00 or earlier
On weekends
1. Get up at 9h00 or earlier
2. Go to sleep at 1h30 or earlier
3. No tecnology at 00h30 or earlier
4. Sleep between 7 and 8 hours per night and if necessary take a nap after lunch.
I know this doesn't seem very difficult but I have really bad habits so I need to start by somewhere. I think these goals will be the most dificult to me because I think (and probably I'm wrong) that I have not a "scheduled life" and I can't settle a get up time or a bed time. Sometimes you probably need to change your schedule but if you want to get up on the time you want first you need a routine and then, when you master it, you can change a day or another. These are the goals for the first week and then I'll set to the next one. I wish to try to get up really early like 6h30 ou 6h00 but for now it's this. I want to get up at 7h30 everyday even if it's not necessary because the habit is the most important thing. Even if you don't get enough sleep I think it's better to take a nap later than getting up later. For me 7 hours or 8 are good and more I feel lazy but you can set the hours that work better for you.
3. Bullet Journal
Planning my days and specially my week is very important to me to organize my life and achieving my goals everyday. I want also to reflect everyday on my goals and think the reasons why I want to do and why I need to do them. This way I can feel motivated and focused on what I need and want to do. So:
1. Write in my Bullet Journal twice a day, everyday. Morning and before go to bed.
2. Plan the week: what I have to practice, for how long an what I need to acomplish every day and every week.
3. Write a reflection every day
4. Write a week review
4. Exercise
I want to be active and healthier. I want to gain strengh in my arms and general strengh. I want to shape my back, arms, gluteus and abdomen. I need strengh to play bassoon. I need to me more resistance at holding breath for playing better. I want to look better, sexier and in shape. So:
-------------- First two weeks -----------------
1. Go to swim 3 days per week
2. Must do it!!!!!!
For now it's just swiming because I literally don't exercise. I have luck on beeing thin and living on a city where I need to walk a lot on go up and down streets. Next weeks I'll settle new goals.
Well this is everything for now. As you must have notice I have wrote my goals for every main goal and explained why I want to do it. This I learned with Ryder Carroll, the founder of the bullet journal. It's important for you to know why you have to do what you put yourself forward to. The answer to your "why's" are your motivation so it's very important to know and remember yourself everyday.
Finally, my key word is
habit↩️
That is the main goal you and I want to achieve. Habit makes routine and routine makes starting doing things without effort because you won't think twice, you just do it automatically. I found this advice in motivational videos on youtube and I want to test it in this productivity challenge 👊

Back again!
This two weeks have been rough with the orchestra rehearsals everyday! (except weekends). This week I wake up at 6 am, have 4h45 orchestra rehearsal and then I go home to practice to my competition on friday!
Today I have the afternoon dismissed so I decided to have brunch (first time!) 😄
I'll rest a little because I'm very tired 😴😴 and then I'll practice! 😎

Don't procrastinate, ever!
‼️Good advice
Literally do your work as soon as you know it exists. If you get homework, do it during your free or when you get home or on the train if you really want to, on the day you get it. Just got set an assignment? Get the draft done that weekend. It doesn’t have to be amazing and absolutely ready to send in, it just needs to exist. Just got sent an email? Reply when you see it. If you’re not sure how to response to it, write Dear (), leave a gap and then write Regards () and keep that in your drafts. Set a reminder on your computer or write the reminder on a sticky note that you’ve got that sitting in your drafts and you need to send it off in the next 24 hours. Need to clean your room? Don’t spend time thinking or planning how you’re going to clean it or how you’re going to change up the space in the process, just pick stuff up and put it where it should be until everything’s in order. Done. Seriously dude, when a task arises as an issue, tackle it as soon as you realise it exists. Remember, it doesn’t need to be amazing it just needs to be done. So, when the due date of the task creeps closer, you can go back, work with what you have and make it the quality you want it to be.

🔸 3 hours orchestra rehearsal
🔸40 mim masterclasse lessoon
🔸 practice 37 minutes - scales, exercices
Today I travel a lot by train. The orchestra rehearsal was like 20 minutes train from my house of this week and the masterclasse 40 minutes train from my house but in a opposite direction. I was in three diferent citys. With this traveling and all the activities I didn't have much time to practice. At least I could do a little exercices. Also I need to rest!
