Hello everyone! Today I wanted to do a mini haul of some things I picked up at my local Target. When I go to Target I usually go straight to the clothes or shoes but lately I've been browsing through their dollar spot area. I got really lucky! I was able to find everything (except the clips) in the dollar section! The paper clips I found in their school section for around $2-$3 which is still a great price. The typography and color of my new stationary items are really pretty! Total price for everything was about $10. Awesome deal! Have you found any great dollar items at your Target? Let us know by sharing your pictures by using the hashtag #prismandpatterns XoSusana

Hello! Today I wanted to share a DIY project that you can do for the Fall. It is very easy, affordable and you do not need any glue. I bought all my materials at Joanns but you can shop around different craft stores to get the best deal. Many craft stores are offering 50-60%off on fall items. It cost me $10 to make this wreath! Items you'll need: 18" Wreath Fall floral Floral Fall Bouquet: A mix of berries, pumpkins, acorns, fall leaves etc Scissors Let your imagination flow. Each floral has a branch that bends and twists. Place each branch where you want it to go and bend the branch with the wreath. Repeat the process. Cut any leaves or berries or one piece of the floral bouquet and place it inside the wreath and twist the branch. Repeat the process. You are then left with a beautiful Fall Wreath! You can also add more floral arrangements or a bow, the options are endless. We hope you enjoyed this DIY and if you make your own fall wreath tag it #prismandpatterns so we can see your fall wreaths! Let us know what other DIY's you would like to see us make. XoSusana

Hey Guys!
Who's ready for the weekend?
For Susana and I the weekend started a little early this week. We got to go see Katy Perry in her Prismatic tour. Just another "typical Tuesday" for us...WE WISH! This was such a treat for us to go see her on tour.
We are both HUGE fans of hers and have always wanted to see her on tour. We expected nothing but the best and that is what we got. Katy Perry's creativity (along with her team) put together a great concert that included anything from dancing mummies, emojis, acrobats, and even fireworks. Also, a few fans with color wigs (us included, check out pictures on our IG) that were her biggest fans of course. On this tour you will also see a more mature Katy singing songs like "By the Grace of God" and "This Moment". Her songs have always been positive and fun but with these we start to see another side of her. Love it! All in all it was a great concert and the only complaint was that it ended too soon.
If you are a Katy fan, make sure to check her out on tour. It's worth it!!!
Any concerts that you guys recommend????

Hi Lovely Readers!
Hope everyone is having a great start of the week. The boyfriend and I went to go watch "The Purge" and after enjoying the film we wanted to grab a bite to eat. We always have the "where do you want to eat conversation" and we decided that gourmet burgers was going to hit the spot. Oh and it did! We went to eat at Eureka Burger!
I highly recommend this place if you are a burger and beer lover! They have a great selection. I'm more of a burger lover tho ;) After coming out with our bellies full, the sunset was amazing! Of course I had to take a picture of my OOTD. What I wore on our date:
Paramore Shirt-Hot Topic (L.O.V.E Paramore)
Pants- Old Navy
Booties-Ross
Marc Jacobs Watch
Purse-Charlotte Russe
Enjoy your day everyone!

Hi guys! How is everyone doing? I've been really into using accessories to make my outfits unique. I tend to dress very casual during the summer. Lately I've been into necklaces and bracelets. Also, If I can find a good deal on them, even better...Lol The secret of making any outfit amazing is the art of accessorizing! You can be wearing a tee and jeans but add a statement necklace and you just turned a basic outfit into a cool chic outfit. Using accessories is the simplest way to spice up your outfit. I recently went to Old Navy and was able to score these bracelets I have being eyeing for a while. I bought these bracelets for $4. (They are having a Clarence sale...hint hint) Originally I would have spend $6 for each one ;) Everyone has a unique way of accessorizing. Mine is using different color combinations to accessorize like the bracelets shown above.Whats yours? Let us know and have fun accessorizing. xoSusana

Happy Monday!
Mondays are the start of a new week, a new you! Sometimes we need some motivation to start working out. I have a hard time keeping up with my workouts but sometimes all I need is some motivation. For me it can be adding a new playlist to purchasing a new pair of running shoes. Another way I keep myself motivated is following fitness enthusiast through social media. Whether it is pinning healthy recipes on Pinterest or following fitness role models on Instagram, following other people's tips are helpful.
Personally getting an exercise buddy helps me keep my motivation level high. When you want to stay home and just eat ice cream, you'll have that person depending on you to get up and work out together. Getting fit and being healthy is a choice and not an obligation. There are tons of ways of working out. Whether you go to the gym, hike or swim in a pool any form of movement will help you get closer to your fitness goals.
So don't give up and find working out a fun thing to do!

Hi guys!
How’s the week going? Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow is FRIDAY!!! Yay!!! Well, unless you work weekends. Lol! In any case, I hope you guys had a great day!
This week, I continue with my review of three Origin skin care products. Today I’ll review “Eye Doctor: Moisture Care for Skin Around Eyes” and its benefits.
As I mentioned last week, I LOVE Origins skin care products because they have little to no fragrance and less chemicals than most skin care products out there. Also, the ones I have tried are easily absorbed and leave no oily residue.
Eye Doctor is specially designed to help you prevent fine lines, dark circles and bring moisture to your eye area. Keeping your face hydrated is important but using an eye moisturizer is essential. Although it can vary from person to person, I would recommend using it once a day. Trust me, your eyes will thank you later.
Overall, it’s an amazing product if you are looking to prevent negative things such as fines lines or dark circles around the eye area. However, in order for it to work to its full potential everyone has to remember that a good diet and night sleep also help out a lot. ;) As always, if you guys would like more details don’t forget to check out their website: www.origins.com. They have something for everyone! If you try or have tried any of their products please let us know, we’d love to hear from you. I’m sure I have not tried them all and would love to hear about your experiences with Origins.
I hope you guys have a good weekend!
Don’t forget to check out our Facebook page and like us.

Generation Beauty Part 2
Welcome back to the second part of my awesome experience at Gen Beauty 2014. I wanted to thank Michelle Phan, the Ipsy Team, Volunteers, Brands and everyone who was part of creating this event for all of us. Thank You.
I really had a good time and I was super surprised of all the amazing free products we received. (We received 50+ items for free) I mean I'm still trying to figure out how I will organize everything. I think the highlight of this event was meeting Michelle Phan. I started watching her in 2006 when she began her youtube vids. The beauty community back then was super small but she stood out to me because she was super humble and so creative. She inspired me to start my own beauty channel and be creative and achieve my dreams. It was a super humbling experience meeting her, even if it was for a super short time. Im also happy for making new friends as well. Shout out to Kendra and Jessica ;)
I will definitely be going to this event next year, totally worth it.
I also wanted to share some discount codes that were given to us. I thought you might like saving some money ;) lol

Generation Beauty Part 1
Hello!
This past weekend, I had the awesome opportunity to attend Generation Beauty with my lovely cousin. It was tons of fun and it was great to meet people who are so passionate about beauty and makeup. My cousin and I hadn't spend time with each other for such a long time, it was fun to spend time with each other and just be a total girl LOL
It was also really exciting to meet so many beauty gurus who I have been watching for such a long time as well. They were all so kind. The Beauty Community holds a special place in my heart..hehehehe
Let me know if you know who these beauty gurus are and if you watch their videos! =)

Hi guys!
I hope you all had a great Memorial Day weekend. Just a quick reminder…we are so close to getting 60 likes on Facebook. Don’t forget to like our page and let your friends know about us. A beautiful set of nail polish is waiting for a lucky winner.
On another note, this Beauty Talk Thursday I want to introduce the first of three weekly reviews that I will be doing for Origins skin care products. Origins is one of my favorite skin care products because it has a diverse selection of products and most importantly they have fewer chemicals than most.
For the first review I will talk about the moisturizer Zero Oil. This is a great selection for people who have oily, normal or somewhere in between skin. I would not recommend it for people with dry skin though. Another reason why I love it is because it’s basically fragrance free and it absorbs quickly into your skin. It’s great for daily use!
This is just one of the many great products that Origins has to offer. Interested???? Feel free to check out their website: www.origins.com for more details and stay tuned for the next review.
Don’t forget to like our Facebook page guys!
