You don’t have to follow a set path. You don’t have to fit into a predetermined life that someone else has decided for you. You need to do what makes you happy. Not what makes your parents, friends or family happy, what makes you happy. You don’t need to know what that is in your teens, in your twenties or whatever age someone expects you to have it all figured out, because it’s never too late to live life to its fullest. This is a journey, not a destination, and people grow and adapt every single day. They find new ways to be happy, new goals to set, new ways to live.

So make your own path in life. Follow it to your own happiness. Remember that this life is yours and it’s up to you what you decide to do with it.

I know being self deprecating is In™ and Cool™ but it’s actually pretty harmful and can lead to inadvertently ruining your self image so maybe,,,,not call yourself ugly every time you post a selfie and saying your art/writing sucks every time you post something? You wouldn’t walk in a job interview and say “im ugly and i do bad work i suck” and expect them to hire you so maybe don’t constantly do it to yourself okay bye

In case you haven’t heard it lately and need to:

You deserve to be happy.

In spite of anything you may be going through right now, whatever situation you may be stuck in, no matter how hopeless things seem, regardless of anyone or anything (yourself included) telling you otherwise, you are worthy of happiness.

You’re allowed your negative feelings. You’re allowed anger and sorrow and grief and fear and loneliness and hopelessness. You’re allowed to be upset towards any circumstances of yours you deem unfair and painful.

But please, alongside and beyond all of that, remember that you are allowed to find happiness, too. They’re not mutually exclusive, odd as it may seem.

It might not be big, it might not be always, but I promise you.

You deserve to be happy.

Hey Mod here!

So I need advice/you wonderful peoples opinion (unless its toxic not im mY HOUSE)

My baby sis just came out as Bi and our mom didnt take it well. I talked to her and told her its okay and we love her regardless and im getting her a pride flag but like. Her birthday party (my little sisters) is on next Friday and im debating on walking in with shades and putting a bisexual flag around her like a cape and putting a ace flag on me and just. Acting like this is normal and seeing what happens. Do y'all think its a good idea or should i mission abort?
