“Go into the arts. I’m not kidding. The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven’s sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something.”

hi. i wrote this while daydreaming about a tomorrow that may never come, a tomorrow when i will be fully alive and live truly and do everything i want to do and be who i want to be :)
[IMG ID: A prose by Manya that reads "Tomorrow, I will ice a cake after baking it to perfection and eat it till I am full. Tomorrow I’ll draw sunflowers and paint the whole canvas into a happy yellow. Tomorrow, I’ll go to the river and watch the world reflect in its flowing waters. Tomorrow, I’ll watch the stars from my terrace and know how lovely and magnanimous it is that I exist with them. All of this to say that tomorrow, I’ll live my day to it’s full glory and appreciate every passing minute as if it were my last. All of this, because I know tomorrow may be my last. But today, before the cakes, the canvases, the rivers and the stars, my body is still breathing and my heart is still beating and I dare to say that I’m alive even if it amounts to nothing. That though I know that the tomorrow may never come, I exist today and everything I dream of being tomorrow is still possible."]
