The 'deal with the devil' trope as a cautionary tale is such a funny concept to me because if you read any 'deal with the devil' stories, you see that it's always the human that tries to swindle the deal. The devil keeps his word. No one ever talks about what happens when you actually pay up.

Heard someone say 'We shouldn't be killing people just because or views differ' in regards to Trump. Like, hello, no you shouldn't just shoot someone over a disagreement but politicians, especially presidential candidates aren't someone you argued with over which ice cream flavor is the best. They are directly and indirectly impacting millions of lives, sometimes ruining them, and killing people too. We absolutely should be killing politicians. We should be guillotining them for breakfast. They tell you violence is bad, so you don't turn it against them, and they can employ and have all of it. Remember that liberty is never given, only taken.

Where is this 'don't kill spiders, take them outside' propaganda coming from? Would you think a spider, if it were large enough to catch me in its web would afford me the same courtesy? Would a tiger escort me politely out of his den? But we are better than animals, you may argue. How human-centric of you, I'd reply, to think yourself better than another life form just because you can do calculus. Also, why aren't you so gracious as to afford the same generosity to cockroaches and mosquitos, per se? Are not all lives equally important after all? Are they not all equally important for the health of the ecosystem at least? Just strip the pretence of ethics and consideration, and out with your biases, already, and allow me mine. I know I am an animal, and this monstrous white box is my only lair, and any arachnid that encroaches in on it will be met by a swift but certain death, and I shall not be guilt tripped for it.

My greatest pet peeve with the post-modern culture is how it lost its appreciation of romanticized self-destruction. It doesn't help that all this newfound consideration for health and longevity is based more on superstition than actual understanding of chemistry and biology. Also, I'm not sure why everyone is acting like a 'non-binary' person winning Evrovision is revolutionary for 'the queers'. Eurovision has been very gay for at least a decade now, and the only people still watching are the ones who are okay with it. What's your point?

I don't hate Switzerland's entry. I don't love it either but it was a good performance, and I can understand why it would have won... However, I don't like how less than halfway through the jury votes it had more points than Sweden at the end of the jury session last year. This reads to me as 'We did the math, we saw what you did for Finland, and we won't let it happen again'. This would absolutely mean that Maneskin was the last true public pick in history, and that we won't see the public decide the winner at all in the foreseeable future. This has another unfortunate and unintended consequence, which is that more voters, just like I this year, are pooling their votes even more onto 1 to 3 entries at most because diluted votes may as well not count... this leads to people essentially betting on the most likely winners, and leaves a lot of good entries in the dirt, without showing them the love they deserve even if they weren't to win. The more they try to fix it, the worse it gets, I truly believe we should just abolish the juries altogether. 'BuT ISraEl woUld haVe beEn 3rD plACe wiThoUT juRies" So what? You're boycotting aren't you?

Hate to break it to you but what Israel is doing in Palestine couldn't be further from genocide no matter how often you repeat that word. Have we forgot this whole thing started with Palestine firing missiles at Tel Aviv? What about the fact that the Palestine uses all of their highest power weapons not for the peak combat zones but for the civilians centers in Israel? What about the fact that Israel called for a ceasefire several times already, and Palestinians keep breaking it? What about the fact that Israelis will treat Palestinian civilians in their hospitals, only for them to be executed by other Palestinians when sent home? If Israel wanted to genocide them, they wouldn't be warning the civilians to move out before they strike, unlike Palestinians who just go for the kill. I don't know, it seems to me Israel is doing their best to just defend themselves, the only one genocidal here is the Palestinians, and the only thing stopping them is the fact that they are poor and incompetent. But I guess the Islamic caliphate propaganda got its hooks into you brainlets.
