Sunday Service Heart Highlight
November 10th, 2024
Song & Service Highlight:
Testimony doesn't mean they get it and I don't
It means it's available for me too!
Scripture that came to heart:
Hebrews 12:1 AMP
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who by faith have testified to the truth of God’s absolute faithfulness], stripping off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us, let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us,"
John 10:10 AMP
"The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]."
~~~~
Since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witness, who can testify and have testified to the truth of God's absolute faithfulness.
There's just such a refreshing of faith when I read that line and remember what the worship leader had spoken. Beloved, God's absolute faithfulness to one person doesn't suddenly run out when He gets to you.
His faithfulness when He told Moses that He would deliver Him and the other Israelites from their enemies is the same faithfulness that is spoken to us throughout scripture. His faithfulness when protecting David from the lions den and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from the fiery furnace is the same faithfulness that He protects us with.
His faithfulness when He hung upon the cross for us, enduring the pain, taking on the death that we deserved so that we may be reunited with Him by faith in Who He is and what He has done. Jesus destroyed the power of sin and death. He destroyed the works of the devil, and He is faithful now to keep His word. We serve such a faithful God, Father, Savior, Lord, Shephard, and Friend. We serve and walk with such an Almighty God and wonderful Savior. He was faithful then and He is faithful now.
Faithful witnesses
I have seen friends testify to seeing God's faithfulness when facing cancer. When facing the loss of a child. When facing heartbreak. When facing debt. When facing financial crisis. When facing spiritual crisis. When facing life crisis. When facing depression. When facing self-harm. I along with others can testify in seeing God's faithfulness when we faced suicidal ideation. When we all face the temptation to sin. When we all get back up again and come to the throneroom of grace and we see His faithfulness. When taking a stand to change theough Him and His love, we see His faithfulness. There is so much testimony to God's faithfulness throughout this whole world. I praise God that I can hear and read such beautiful testimonies from people across the world through social media.
So beloved, God's not done so don't give up. Keep going. May this remind you and renew your faith that if God did it for them, that He'll do it for you too. Stand firm in Him, seek Him in all your ways as you believe that He IS making a way when there seems to be no way (Proverbs 3:5-6; Isaiah 43:18-19). He has called you to live in abundant life with Him.
Wednesday Service Heart Highlight
November 6th, 2024
Song & Service Highlight:
Regardless of what the situation may be, God has paved a way with His love
God made a way for us to be rooted and grounded to the point where we won't be shaken when situations arise
We can freely come to the Father because Jesus paid the price for our relationship with Him
The scripture that came to heart:
John 8:36 ESV
"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."
John 10:10 AMP
"The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]."
~~~~
Beloved, the moment Jesus died and rose again was the same moment that the power of any chain we could ever experience was broken. The moment we believed and received Jesus as our Lord and Savior was the same moment that we gained access to that reality. The reality that we can walk in the abundant life that Jesus paid for. The reality that those chains no longer have any power over us and they have to break because of Jesus.
You no longer have to be chained up to:
Fear
Depression
Anxiety
Lust
Pornography
Suicidal Ideation
Insomnia
Illness
Survival
Darkness
Sin cycles
Condemnation
Idols
Emptiness
(fill in the blank)
Beloved, I don't know what chains you find yourself tied up to, but I do know one glorious thing: Jesus has called you to be free.
Jesus loves you and He doesn't want you to remain in the darkness when He so preciously paid the price so that you may walk in liberty with Him. God made the way, it's Jesus. So, come to the alter, ask The Holy Spirit to show you the chains that are weighing you down (both known and unknown), receive the faith you need to break those chains off through Jesus, and you will be free indeed.

Scripture & Service Highlight:
Joshua 1:3 NLT
"I promise you what I promised Moses: ‘Wherever you set foot, you will be on land I have given you—"
Every place we go, it's ours (Jesus & me)
When you go home you can say, "This place is mine, I will not live in darkness in the name of Jesus."
Walking by faith is strong
Proclaim that you are going to be blessed EVERYWHERE
~~~~~~~~
Beloved, we are called to walk in the light as He is in the light (1 John 1:7)! Just as Joshua and Moses were blessed so shall we be and even more so! For we have the new and better covenant, established upon better promises with Jesus (Heb. 8:6). He made the the way and promised abundant life to those who follow and believe in Him (John 14:6; John 10:10).
So beloved wherever you go today, proclaim the victory Jesus bought for you there! Walk by faith & not by sight (2 Cor. 5:7). Expect to be blessed and to be a blessing there. Darkness has to flee when you walk in the authority of the light of Jesus (John 1:9; Luke 10:19)!
You are blessed and highly favored!
(Psalms 84:4)
Scripture & Service Highlight:
2 Corinthians 4:13 AMP
"Yet we have the same spirit of faith as he had, who wrote in Scripture, “I believed, therefore I spoke.” We also believe, therefore we also speak,"
Service Title: Faith Speaks
It's our responsibility to water our faith so it may grow
Thinking something to rebuke something won't work, you have to say something.
Scripture that also came to heart:
1 Corinthians 3:6 KJV
"I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase."
~~~~~~~~~
I believe that one of the biggest signs for when a believer is under attack is when we fall silent. When we aren't able to speak/sign scripture over ourselves. But we have to fight the good fight of faith even when the flesh or the enemy wants to keep us silent. Fighting the good fight means speaking/signing scripture over ourselves even when we don't feel like it. When we do that, the enemy starts to lose, when we do that, we are watering our faith so that God may grow it. The flesh will always fight against our spirit (Galatians 5:17), but praise God that He made us more than conquerors even when we don't feel like we are (Romans 8:37)! That He gave us the victory through Jesus (1 Corinthians 15:57)!
So, if you're under attack ask God to strengthen you, ask The Holy Spirit to show you the scriptures that you need to speak/sign so that your faith may be watered (He will do it! Isaiah 41:10; John 16:13). So that you can stand back up and walk in the light. Beloved, you are not defeated. You are more than a conqueror and the devil has to flee when we take a stand (James 4:7). So say/sign something, and watch as God brings the increase.
You are mighty in Him ❤️

What I once desired for Is not what I desire more Heart of stone turned into flesh Love, joy, peace taking over the mess It's all I'm wanting day by day I'm not who I was Now I am who I am, a sinner saved A stumbling saint Still I'm never alone He's alive in my bones The ghost of God, sanctifies Day by day by day Day by day by day Day by day by day Day by day by day Day by day by day Day by day by day
Scriptures in the lyrics!
Ezekiel 36:26 ESV And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. Galatians 5:22-23 ESV But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. Isaiah 41:10 ESV Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 ESV Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. Hebrews 12:1-2 ESV Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
What scriptures arise for you when you read these lyrics or listen to the song?

Scripture & Service Highlight:
Colossians 1:27-29 NLT
"For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory. So we tell others about Christ, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all the wisdom God has given us. We want to present them to God, perfect in their relationship to Christ. That’s why I work and struggle so hard, depending on Christ’s mighty power that works within me."
I'm not working in my own ability but in His ability
Scriptures that also came to heart:
Ephesians 6:10 AMP
"In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might."
Philippians 4:13 ESV
"I can do all things through him who strengthens me."
~~~~
Beloved, Jesus defeated the powers of sin, hell, death, and satan, so that we could be reunited in relationship with Him, He didn't just stop there. No, when Jesus paid that price for relationship with us, He decided to also give us all that we need in order to live in a victorious relationship with Him while we still live here on this earth. Jesus our Jehovah Jireh (the Lord my provider). Beloved, as we share the Good News with others, as we learn what it means to be a new creation in Jesus, as we grow in this relationship we have with God and with the other members of The Body of Christ, as we face the challenges of life, we are not called to do so in our own strength.
We are called to walk and work in the strength and power that Jesus gives us. That in our growing relationship with Him we are empowered to do what He has called us to do, and can do all things through Him! Jesus said, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matt. 11:28 KJV)" We are not meant to walk in our own strength. We can come to Him when we are weary from it all, when we need a place of rest. When we come to Him we can be confident that He will not only give us rest, but that He will also give us the strength we need to live in this world with Him.
So, next time you're feeling weary, running short on patience, anxious, fearful, whatever makes you feel like it's impossible to take the next step, come to Jesus. Ask Him to give you His strength and be thankful in receiving it, for He has already promised it to you (see scriptures above). Jesus will strengthen you the moment you believe it and receive it. For He is for you and not against you. He is with you and will give you the strength you need for every situation and circumstance that you come upon. So be confident, strong, and filled with peace as you depend on Him.
Wednesday Service Heart Highlight:
October 23rd, 2024
Tonight when my church worship leader opened the service she said something that opened up a reservoir of gratitude and prayer:
"What a blessing this place is."
Man and it is so true. What a blessing it is that we get to gather together with the church body, with our church family. That we get to experience Gods presence together, to edify and pray with one another, to praise God as The Body of Christ. That we get to gather together and nourish our spirits in God's word with our Pastors and allow the word to grow in our hearts. It made me so thankful that I get to experience this every Sunday and Wednesday.
~~~~
Scripture:
Hebrews 10:25 AMP
"Not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ’s return] approaching."
A Prayer...
For those who have a church home: I pray that as you attend church you are reminded of the blessing of having a church home where you can gather to edify and feed your spirit with one another. I pray that your eyes are opened to a new understanding and level of gratitude for the community that you have with your church family.
For those who have experienced church hurt: I pray God's healing over your heart. While those people hurt you know that it was not God. He loves you, and His will for you is full of joy, peace, and love (Jere. 29:11). God will give you beauty for ashes. I believe that as you go along this journey of healing and reconciliation that God will lead you along the path to a church of believers in action and word. Who will truly love and care for you as The Gospel ordains.
For those who have yet to find a church home: I pray that Your eyes and ears are opened to a new level that you may be more receptive to the guidance of the Holy Spirit who will lead you and guide you (john 16:13). I pray that the new way in which you should go will be clearer than ever and that as you take that path you will be filled with a new hope that will assure you that you will find your church home.
For those who attend their church home virtually: I pray also that you are reminded of the blessing of having a church home where you can worship and hear the word of God with others. I pray that if you have the opportunity and are able to attend your service in-person that you will take it, even if it is only a one-time thing. I pray that if the community part of your church home is lacking, that God will show you the way to experience that blessing with your church family. And if it's not lacking, that your eyes are renewed to the blessing of having that community.
In Jesus Name,
Amen

Service Highlight:
Jesus makes available perfect peace
You just have to keep your eyes on Him
The Scriptures that came to heart:
John 14:27 AMP
"Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]"
John 16:33 AMP
"I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]"
~~~~~
One of the very first things I experienced after claiming Jesus as my Lord and Savior at sixteen was His peace. His peace that surpasses all understanding, that fills my heart, soul, mind, body, my everything, with serenity and calm. Like a body of water in the beginnings of the sun rise before nature awakens. A peace that quiets the storm every time and fills me with comfort and renewed tranquility and strength for that moment and for the times ahead. That's what the perfect peace of Jesus was and still is for me when I keep my eyes on Him.
Jesus promised this kind of peace to us all, His perfect peace that would calm us and give us courage and strength in every circumstance. Jesus warned us that in the world we would have tribulation, distress, and suffering, but that's in the world, not in Him. The first time my pastor revealed that distinction to me I was astonished.
Beloved, Jesus gave us His peace and victory! We may live in this world temporarily, but that doesn't mean Jesus called us to be of the world. No, Jesus called us out of it. To be set apart, to live in His abundance and to share the light of His abundant love with others. When our eyes are on the world we'll experience the tribulation, distress and suffering without hope. But when our eyes are stayed on Jesus, even when the world brings us trials, distress, and suffering we can point to the better hope, to the victory that Jesus won for us. We can choose to instead step into His peace and victory and overcome the challenges that try to keep us from walking in the reality of what Jesus paid for. AKA abundant living with Him (John 10:10).
We can be confident and come to Jesus when the storm tries to overwhelm us and allow His perfect peace to fill us. Jesus made His peace available to us, we don't have to walk the same way this world does. No, we have hope (confident expectation) in Jesus, that whatever we are facing cannot win for we have the divine victory living in us. Because we have Jesus.
So, if you're feeling distressed, if you're suffering. Come to Jesus, who promised you His perfect peace. A peace that will calm you, strengthen you, and give you a victorious courage. For Jesus has overcome the world, and gave you that very victory over every challenge you will ever face. For you are more than an conquerors through Him (Romans 8:37).
Wednesday Service Heart Highlight:
October 16th, 2024
Scripture & Service Highlight:
1 Corinthians 8:1 AMP
"Now about food sacrificed to idols, we know that we all have knowledge [concerning this]. Knowledge [alone] makes [people self-righteously] arrogant, but love [that unselfishly seeks the best for others] builds up and encourages others to grow [in wisdom]."
When you walk in Charity -love- you will edify
The word will edify you, it will show you what God says about you
We have to edify and strengthen ourselves in God by faith
We can't see people in their weakness, we need to edify them in Christ
This Love that Gives-> edifies
We take what Jesus says, not our opinion
~~~~~
Beloved, we live in a world that is full of hate and darkness. But thank The Lord that He called us to a place of light. To be the light in the darkness. Beloved, it's so easy to point out failures, be it our own or someone elses. But we're not called to dwell on them, nor are we called to condemn them, rather we are called to see as God see's. To see the blood of Jesus, The One who paid the price for sin and made a way back to The Father. Who gave us His victory and calls us to be as He is, perfect and without blemish. Perfect as in complete in Him, as in following God's way even when we want to follow our own.
Beloved, when we get the opportunity to either speak life or death to someone, let us speak life! Whether or not that person believes, Jesus still loves them and wants them to return home. So we too must allow His love to pour out of us and into them by edifying them. By calling them as He says they are, not as it seems to look like. Jesus told the paralized man that His sins were forgiven and to get up and walk (Matthew 9:5-7). A man who had never walked in His life. A man who didn't have the motor functions nor muscles built to do such a task. Yet, Jesus didn't see that, He saw a man made complete and told him to get up and walk.
It's the same for us, we must walk by faith and not by sight. Not only with others but with ourselves too. We cannot look at our flaws and edify those, no when we see these things we have to speak faith over them. We have to edify ourselves in faith and by love. When we see brokenness, we build ourselves up in the reality that God heals the broken hearted. When we see sickness, we build ourselves up in the reality that Jesus healed us through His 39 stripes. When we see depression, we build ourselves up in the reality that Jesus has given us joy and peace. When we see failures, we build ourselves up in the reality that Jesus has forgiven us and poured out mercy and grace. When we see unloved/unlovable, we build ourselves up in the reality that Jesus loves us so much that He literally died for us.
Let us edify one another and ourselves so that we may grow in His love and wisdom.

Sunday Service Heart Highlight:
October 13th, 2024
Service Highlight:
God is a giving and loving God. We cannot earn it, Jesus earned it for us.
God's loving-kindness is what leads us to repentance.
The Scriptures that came to heart:
John 3:16 AMP
“For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] [a]only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life."
Romans 2:4 NKJV
"Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?"
~~~~~~~~
What a beautiful thing it is that we have a Father and Savior Who love us so much that they put a plan in action to bring us back into relationship with Him, The Godhead three in one. That Jesus chose to take on the cross even when the Father told Him this would be the only way to bring us back to Him. He did it because He loves us. He loved us before we were ever born, He loved us when we rejected Him, He loved us when we ignored Him, Jesus still loves us even now. Jesus loves us all, those who have yet to know Him, those who reject Him, those who accept and follow Him, and He loves everyone in between. He loves us all.
And because of His death, burial, and resurrection, we have the blessing of reciprocating His love. For it is His loving-kindness that is constantly seeking us out, calling us out of the darkness so that we may meet Him in the light of His love.
God loves you, and by the blood of Jesus we can come to Him and have relationship with Him. Because of the blood of Jesus, Jesus made the only pathway for us to be reunited with Him. To live with Him in the goodness and love of relationship. One we didn't earn, one we will never deserve. But praise The Lord, He decided to pay the price for us and made us worthy through Him. All because He loves us.
So come to The Father, He is not ashamed of you darling. He will not reject you or shame you for where you have been or what you've done. No beloved, He is eagerly awaiting for you to come to Him so that He may receive you into His loving arms. So that He may dust off your feet and shoulders, and say, "Welcome home My child. I have missed you."
Wednesday Service Heart Highlight:
October 9th, 2024
Scripture & Service Highlight:
Hebrews 11:1 AMP
"Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]."
By Faith Abraham chose to refuse and choose
We can do the same, by Faith we have the right to choose:
Abundance, life, health, how we respond, what we think, what feelings remain
~~~~~~~ By faith we choose. We can choose to get up again when we've fallen short. Because Faith tells us that we can repent, ask for God's forgiveness, and ask Him to lead us into the change that will bring us closer to Him and away from the old. By faith we can look at the circumstances and tell them that they have no control over us, because Jesus has already healed us. By His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), even when it looks bad. I have a friend battling cancer right now, at one point his skin got so pale that it looked like the cancer was winning. But no matter what, we all prayed and continuously spoke the word over him. Even more important, he spoke the word over himself. Even as he went to his appointments, had surgeries, took his medication, we all (including him) spoke FAITH. He is still fighting the good fight, and now his skin is back to normal, he's getting stronger, he's getting better! Praise God! All because he chose to refuse and choose. He is refusing to accept death and choosing to believe in the God who says that he is more than a conqueror, and that he is healed by the stripes of Jesus. I had another friend who passed away from cancer years ago. We also prayed with her, believed and chose to refuse, and choose to say what God says. Eventually she did pass, but with victory. She didn't surrender to fear, she didn't surrender to thinking that it was God's will. Instead she passed with peace knowing that God would continue to take care of her family and that soon she would be dancing with Jesus. She stood in faith and received her healing in heaven.
We have the right to choose by faith. To choose to believe God and what He says even when everything else looks the opposite. To choose life instead of speaking death, even in the face of death. The scripture says that faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by physical senses. Faith is the evidence of things we cannot see. Fear and worry show up on the daily now, and it's our choice on how we will respond. Will we come to the Holy Spirit asking Him to bring us the scriptures that will bring us the faith that we need? Whether it be to grow in a relationship with Him or to face the current/upcoming situation. Or will we allow ourselves to be caught up in the storm, too panicked to hear Jesus saying, "Take My hand." Beloved, we must choose to walk by faith in both the highs and lows, because we serve a faithful God. God will not fail you when you choose to put your trust and hope (aka confident expectation) in Him. Choose to refuse the darkness that threatens to overtake you and choose to seek God for His guidance. For the faith that you need in order to continue walking in peace, joy, love, and victory in your relationship with Him.

Sunday Service Heart Highlight
October 6th, 2024
Scripture & Service Highlight:
1 Timothy 1:1 NIV
"Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the command of God our Savior and of Christ Jesus our hope,"
Take all of my hope and put it in Jesus, He supplies, He is my hope, my blessed assurance.
Jesus is my expectation.
Jesus is my source, my waymaker
Trust Jesus with everything
His promises are my hope/expectation
What people cannot do, God does
~~~~~
Some background information. This sermon was about our hope (aka confident expectation) being found in Jesus.
In The Bible, the word "Hope," sourced back to the root word in Greek is ἐλπίς. This word means expectation, hope. In The Bible it's commonly used as: hope, expectation, trust, and confidence. Which is how we come to know that our hope in Jesus isn't something flimsy, but rather its a confident expectation in who Jesus is! It's our confident expectation that what He promised to us will come to fruition because that's who He is. He is faithful to His word.
So, when we come to believe in Jesus, we are standing in the confident expectation of who He is. He is our Messiah, our Good Shephard, our Jehovah Jireh, our Savior, our Lord, our King of kings and Lord of lords. He is our Prince of Peace, He is the lamb slain, He is risen, He is the waymaker, He is the only way, He is our source, He is love! Jesus has so many names, and He has not failed in measuring up in any of them. He is our hope, in Him we don't have to be afraid or worried. When we keep our eyes on Him, when we continue to stand on what He says in His Word and in His conversations with us, we can stand confidently knowing that what He says will come to pass.
There is a great temptation from the enemy to allow our hope to be something flimsy and something to be left in our own hands or in the "it is what it is". That our hope is something we have to earn. Trust me, I know, growing up I believed I had to earn everything, that I couldn't rely on anyone else but myself if I truly wish to have it. I'm still growing to let go of the "hustle culture," and by no means am I perfect. But man, do I serve such a faithful and merciful God who patiently and lovingly draws me back to Him. Who reminds me that this is a relationship with Him, and that ultimately He is the one in whom I should place my hope in. Not in my own works, but in what He says about it. Beloved, God will show you the way if you'll bring to Him all your hopes and dreams. He'll even outdo them (Ephesians 3:20)! But we have to let Him be the source as we walk with Him. We have to let the work we do, not become something in which we honor ourselves in, but that we honor Him in (Colossians 3:23), knowing that in it He is bringing us all that we have need and want of. There is a balance, I'm not saying to lay your desires at His feet and just stand there waiting. Nor am I saying talk to Jesus about it then go off and do your own thing. It's a balance of putting your hand to the things at which He has called you to do. Knowing that this work that you do in His honor is moving you to what He is preparing you for. When we work with Him in where He is leading us, we are positioning ourselves to see the fruits of that confident expectation in Him. There are things that only God can do, and when we have the right mindset and position we are opening ourselves to see it. We will see Him bring that better job, that healing, that new home, that new level of relationship with Him. God is our source and we can trust and rely on Him. So as you bring Him your hopes and desires, allow Him to bring you the scriptures in which will set you in the right position to receive what He alone has planned for you.
(Definition and usage of ἐλπίς comes from blueletterbible.org)
"First of all, then, I urge that petitions (specific requests), prayers, intercessions (prayers for others) and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all people"
Isaiah 43:19 NLT
"For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland."
As someone who didn't grow up in the church and came to proclaim Jesus as my Lord and Savior as a teenager, this reminder that my prayers for the rest of my family are still working refreshed my hope. That one day, we will all be worshiping Jesus together. It opened my heart to The Holy Spirit showing me all the things that He has been doing for my family members over the years. Even as I type this He is still reminding me of all that He is doing in their lives, drawing them closer to Him in His love. Praise The Lord ❤️❤️❤️
So beloved, as you continue to pray over those you care for, for anyone, let this renew and refresh you. That God is still working on them, even if you can't see it yet. HE. IS. WORKING. So give thanks! Continue to pray for their hearts to become soft to receive, for their ears to hear, for their eyes to see His great love, and keep being that example of love to them. Give thanks that He hears your prayers; thanks for all that He has done and continued to do; thanks for them; thanks that He is pursing them and is working on them.
🕊️ Music
Redeemer Nicole C. Mullen
Y'all this song started playing right after I posted the Sunday Highlight. Her voice is always so pretty 😭❤️ and this is such a good song!
Y'all should totally give it a listen! So many instruments and a choir! 👀
Here's a little segment:
The very same God That spins things in orbit Runs to the weary The worn and the weak And the same gentle hands That hold me when I'm broken They conquer death to bring me victory
Now I know my redeemer lives I know my redeemer lives Let all creation testify Let this life within me cry I know my redeemer
He lives to take away my shame And He lives forever I'll proclaim That the payment for my sin Was the precious life He gave But now He's alive and there's an empty grave
Sunday Service Heart Highlight:
September 29th, 2024
Scripture & Service Highlight:
Romans 10:8-10 NIV
"But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."
Scripture goes into the heart and power comes out of your mouth. It will accomplish what it set out to do.
~~~~~
Not only is this true in our confession of faith, this is true for all of the words that come out of our mouths. There are many scriptures throughout The Bible that tell us about the power of our words. Remember the saying, "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me" ? Well that was a straight up lie not only according to scripture but in human experience too. Our words have power and will produce whatever we speak, life or death (Proverbs 18:21). That's why it's so important for us to watch our words and to seek The Lord first and foremost. To stay dedicated in growing in the word and allowing The Holy Spirit to guide us in how to walk in this life with Jesus.
If you're ever wondering where your believing is, listen to what you're saying. When I find myself speaking fear or doubt I know that somewhere along the way I took my eyes off of Jesus. But praise The Lord that even in that moment, I can pray to Him and turn my eyes back to Him. That at that moment I can ask The Holy Spirit to lead me to the scripture that I need to be confessing over the situation and bring the power of His light to fight off the darkness.
And for those who believe and are ready to make that confession of faith, that Jesus is Lord, gather with other believers in your community and tell them! Make that confession in the midst of like minded faith, and be ready to rejoice! Be ready for the celebration that will not only happen in the midst of your brothers and sisters in Christ here on earth, but also in heaven, what a party it will be!
Hallelujah!
Also, I would love to know so I can celebrate with you too!!!

Wednesday Service Heart Highlights:
September 25th, 2024
Scripture:
1 John 5:14 NLT
"And we are confident that He hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him."
Church Service Highlight:
We have to pray with confidence in Him
If I'm worshiping and fellowshipping then I will have confidence
~~~
Something my pastor always tells me when I have a hard time approaching God (because I've done something wrong or that I've fallen short in spending time with Him), is to turn on worship music. He tells me to turn on worship music because in that worship I surrender over the things by confessing and focusing instead on His goodness. In worship all else fades away and I'm invited into a place where nothing else matters but Jesus. Where I can focus on the reality that God still loves me, has a plan for me, and calls me out of that darkness to walk in His wonderful light. In that worship, I am brought to repentance and to the confidence to begin again with Him. In that worship, the door opens to that fellowship with Him, that I can come to Him through Christ and grow in Him. To have confidence that He hears me and is inviting me to His table.
And it's the same for all of us, who have received Jesus as Lord and Savior and choose to follow Him. In those times when we have a hard time coming to Him with confidence in prayer, we can first choose to worship and allow all the things to fade away to reveal the truth that God is good and has an answer for us. That He loves us, that He has good plans for us, and that He has called us out of the darkness so that we can walk with Him in His marvelous and loving light.
Amen
~~~
✝️ So sorry with how late this is! Happy Sunday! 🦋

Sunday Service Heart Highlight:
September 22nd, 2024
Song & Service Highlight:
God is Faithful
No matter what the darkness looks like, God didn't bring you there, but He will get you out!
The scripture that came to heart:
Psalms 40:2 NLT
"He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along."
Have you ever seen that video of the sheep stuck in the ground and the guy pulls the sheep out, only for the sheep to run and jump back into the gap further down the line?
Sometimes that's what we do (I have been guilty multiple times). Yet, as many times we get ourselves stuck, God still loves us so much that He pulls us out everytime and sets us onto steady ground. Beloved, no matter if you got yourself in the situation or if it was something else, God is with us. He is with us every step of the way, guiding us to the good plans He has for us. The victory that Jesus won for us.
So wherever you are, look to The Lord, and allow Him to show you the way out through The Holy Spirit. To pull you up out of the mud and set you on sturdy land. To lead you to His victory that we're called to walk in with Him, as those who have chosen to recieve Jesus as Lord and Savior.
And for those who desire recieve Him or are even curious, it's not too late. Jesus loves you, and desires to have relationship with you! ❤️
