guide for withdrawing from sugar
-reduce your intake slowly. quitting cold turkey will make the withdrawal symptoms stronger
-when craving sugary snacks opt for healthier alternatives such as fruits, nuts, veggies, yogurt, etc
-understand that sugar is terrible for you. it eilk cause your face to become puffy, dry, and wrinkled. your metabolism is being slowed and its causing you to feel tired and sad.
-you’ll only face extreme withdrawal symptoms for 3-7 days. then for the next 1-3 weeks all of the sugar effects will subside
-remember that your low mood is because of the sugar cravings. once they go away you’ll feel happier and more energized
i’ve quit sugar before but then i started eating sugar again and before i knew it became addicted again. what i remember about not eating sugar is that i had complete control of what i ate, i looked radiant, and felt less hungry

4n4/mia low cal meals/snacks
-steamed broccoli with either melted cheese and/or pepper
-rice cake with cottage cheese and peanut butter
-black coffee with seasonings such as nutmeg, cinnamon, and/or a pinch of salt!
-plain chicken with pepper
-steamed carrots for a sweet treat
-sweet potatos
-grapes
-tiny serving of granola instead of cereal
-almond/skim milk with some cocoa powder instead of chocolate milk
-unbuttered popcorn, you can season this with old bay, pepper, or cinnamon
-cool whip or whipped cream instead of ice cream
-oiko protein yogurts

first fast
*updating as I go*

Went from 145lb to 135lb (i’m shocked i lost so much but i don’t notice a physical difference)
I’ll be fasting for 24 hours and breaking the fast with veggies, meat, and black coffee. currently 6 hours in and abt to go to bed.
20 hours in. i never expected fasting to feel so euphoric. at 17 hours i was hungry but once i hit that 19 hour mark it went away. i still feel hunger but its not as intense and i think much clearer now! my mom made fries and sandwiches for lunch and I was barely tempted to indulge. i’m literally drinking black coffee (w salt and cinnamon) and it doesn’t taste bitter!!!
21 hours in. I cleaned and vacuumed the kitchen but now I feel so much weaker. I’m gonna keep going though
at 22:17 hours I had to stop the fast because
my family had dinner :( after eating dinner i binged and had a chocolate bar and a slice of pumpkin pie so i went on a 30 min walk. i’m such a wannarexic
I have a problem with binging after restricting but to combat this i’m gonna remind myself that i’m currently fasting and that it’s temporary. i like to imagine that it’d be like a little game where I get high scores based off how long i can go

why can’t my body just let me starve?? i just wanna go a day or two with no hunger or compulsions to eat. is that really so much to ask for? now i’m buying my friends addys trying to subside this idiot hunger and once they wear off i binge anyways
