What do you mean my sister’s not a baby anymore? She hasn’t been for a while and she will never be again? It was just yesterday I was teaching her how to braid her hair, how to tie it in a ponytail to get it out of her face. How to sit on her chair correctly and eat without spilling and remember to say please and thank you. Me and my brother sat side by side, holding her tiny hand as she took her first steps.

What do you mean my brother is an adult? Has been for a while and will continue to be forever? It was just yesterday he was arguing with my parents on my behalf and letting me play video games with him and showing me how to tie my shoes. Helping me with math and living in the room down the hall from mine, one yell away.

Jean and Elodie?? That one hurt but I’ll take it!! Even in fanfics for media I haven’t watched (Bridgerton) and even if the character was an only child in canon and you gave them a sibling just for the angst… hell yeah!!

There’s nothing quite like the love and bond between siblings. Nothing quite like being raised by the same parents in the same home. No one quite like the kid who held you when you were born. Or the baby you held when they were born. Idk gets me emotional

Does anyone have any fic recs similar to Dear Moony by BarneyLove on ao3???

Basically a Sirius centered fic that takes place during their school years (magic or muggle au idm) that focuses particularly on Sirius’ relationship with his brother and his cousins and his parents while also having to hide what’s going on at home from his friends?? If you haven’t read Dear Moony I can’t recommend it enough, it’s technically a prequel and it’s a wip but trust me it’s absolutely amazing.

Just watched the scene where Moyo tells the guys about his mom and while I can see the intention behind it it just simply can’t compare to the scene between Isak and Magnus in the original.

The fact that they had the conversation standing up in the middle of the crowded courtyard was definitely a choice…

Also one crucial missing part was definitely the line where Magnus tells Isak to talk to Even, that just because he was manic didn’t mean he was brain dead. In wtfock Moyo just said that Sander was definitely into Robbe and then instantly moved on to Aaron and Amber. I feel like someone should have definitely told Robbe to do the same with Sander, to ignore what Britt thinks is best, to ignore whatever Jana thinks is best, and to just have a proper conversation with his boyfriend. Cause at the end of the day Sander is his boyfriend, not Britt’s, not Jana’s, his.

Like guys I also don’t know anything about being bipolar but regardless I can’t believe her first thought after talking to Britt (who I get they think is a trusted source cause she’s dealt with it for longer but it just truly doesn’t make as much sense to me considering Britt and Sander were together for SIX MONTHS as opposed to Sonya and Even’s YEARS long relationship) was to tell Robbe to not even try to help. Like… that’s your boyfriend that you LOVE fight back???

Ik it’s probably complicated for the characters going through this with no knowledge of bipolar especially with Britt being their only source and having her tell Robbe that Sanders love was a side effect of his manic episode but still… Magnus where are you
