My name is Abedmajed, and I live in Gaza with what remains of my once large and loving family.

In a single missile strike, we lost over 25 members of our family. They were not just names. They were mothers, daughters, sons, grandparents — people we shared meals with, laughed with, and built dreams with.

After Sophie Woodstone dies, Sam and Jay inherit the house, happy to discover that its all theirs… until they realize that Sophie Woodstone had eight foster kids that are all about to go back into the system.

Thor Finn is the oldest and seventeen, almost about to age out of the system. He was abandoned by his parents in a foreign country and no one was ever able to identify him or his family, and as a result ended up in the US system. He has some pretty bad anger and abandonment issues, causing him to cling to his foster siblings.

Sassapis is the second oldest, at fifteen, and closest with Thor. It’s unsure how he ended up in foster care, and he keeps information of his life before (and after) close to his chest. He’s pretty cynical and sarcastic but he really enjoys creative writing and drama and keeps a bunch of stories in his notebook. 

Isaac is fourteen, and his family kept him in such poor conditions that he actually ended up developing dysentery. Why they did so, no one knows and if Isaac does he’s not telling. He’s a huge revolutionary war buff and theatre kid, and hates the Musical Hamilton because he didn’t get cast as the lead during freshman year.

Hetty is also fourteen and was a part of a very wealthy family until her father was caught trying to marry her off to a much older man for some money. She has very conservative beliefs but slowly begins to form her own opinions. She can be cold at first, but is surprisingly warm to her family

Alberta is thirteen and believes that she was kidnapped from her real family who she doesn’t remember. She continually tries to find traces of them or evidence that they’re still out there, and has ran away several times before to try and find them. She’s also a theatre kid and a really good singer, with dreams to be a star.

Flower is twelve and was born in a cult and was fully indoctrinated into their beliefs, growing up in a very unsafe space, with extreme views about lack of privacy, hygiene, diet and general life. After the cult was busted for robbing a bank she was placed in the foster care system and separated from her older brother.

Pete is also twelve and is a very good pinecone scout. After an incident with bullying goes too far and he’s shot with an arrow, triggering a CPS investigation it’s ruled that his father isn’t fit to take care of him. In spite of everything he has an unyielding positive attitude that can’t be stopped and believes that he and his friends will all get adopted one day.

Trevor as the youngest, is eleven years old, and was removed from his last foster home after he accidentally ingested some of his foster father’s illegal drugs. He’s a little bratty and for the past couple years his only role model was a sleazy finance bro who took him in as a PR stunt, and bought his silence with fancy things.

Jay is hesitant about this, but Sam feels bad because they’re basically family to her and wants to get to know them. The kids aren’t happy about this and try and cause them a whole lot of trouble to get them to leave them alone. (Sophie was pretty bed-ridden towards the end they’re used to being able to do their own thing). One of these attempts by Trevor lands Sam in a coma for a week and all the kids pretty shaken up. Jay is upset about this, until Trevor starts crying and then he realizes just how traumatized these kids are and they decide to stay.

i had an idea today where at some point pre-vault/hetty going to michigan, elias gets electrocuted and starts acting weird. there are three options here

he starts speaking really strangely, eating lots of fish, attempting to physically fight ppl, calling hetty 'little'

returning land left and right to native americans, and leaving the rest of the business stuff to someone else(hetty), reading lots of books that he would otherwise never touch, doing some writing

complaining loudly about alexander hamilton and start writing a book about how awful he was, vigorously keeping up his hygiene and filtering out the drinking water, taking a large interest in theatre

but whatever one you pick you also have:

banging into random doors

refusing to so much as touch hetty (or molly) - and refuse to sleep in the same bed

being incredibly respectful and kind to hetty

leaving out lots of smelly food and candles around the house

Finance crisis situation, need some advice regarding art commissions

First, we had to deal with mice throughout the winter, and now we have to deal with cockroaches when summer is almost here. I'm very tight on finances and I really need to help my grandma on gaining enough money for us to move out of the apartment and find another to move into, if worse comes to worse. Since my commission business is running slow again and no one is interested in my other commissions such as comics, character reference sheets, and even animated gifs, I really need some help here, because this is a dire situation I'm in right now. How do I keep my art commission businesses thriving, so I could earn enough money to pay for us to move out of our current apartment we're living in? Should I keep reopening my animation commission, or start a paid collaboration with more successful artists or what? I really need some help, like right now. I don't think my grandma and I are gonna keep living in Sacramento for long, since we've heard it's becoming a bad place where cockroaches will come and infest your apartments/houses.

Please tell me, how do I keep my commission business, any types of art commissions, thriving instead of dying that would help me with my finance crisis I'm suffering with right now? Any types of advices you might have in mind?

Unpopular opinion: the way that the ghosts cbs fandom and show treats Trevor really bothers me sometimes. people can treat him as this uwu angel who did nothing wrong ever and was secretly totally misunderstood and while I agree he was better than his “bros” the bar isn’t very high. He made so many inappropriate comments towards Sam when they first met, objectifying and insulting her constantly even though she was married and clearly didn’t show any interest in him. He makes a lot of misogynistic and sexist remarks in general, which usually just get written off both in the show and in the fandom. In D&D he kept making comments about the US, in spite of Sasappis being pretty obviously uncomfortable with it and in the pilot he flicked Pete’s arrow - which is in his neck, the cause of his death, which Pete later says is usually pretty painful all on his own. (He has come a long way since season one though, but this post is more about how the fandom treats him, not his character.)

I also often see his trauma treated more seriously than the other ghosts. And again, don’t get me wrong, I agree he has trauma, but most of that stems from his death itself. But I saw a post earlier that said that Trevor is one who needs therapy the most and I was just baffled.

You’re telling me that the straight white-passing guy from 2000s needs therapy more than the gay man from the colonial era who for the longest time didn’t understand what was “wrong” with him, was unable to marry or be with a person he truly loved because it was illegal, was ridiculed and excluded by his peers at every turn, and had to fight in an awful war? You’re telling me that the straight white-passing guy from 2000s needs therapy more than the black woman who lived during the roaring twenties, in the US, through segregation, racism, sexism and was discriminated for her body type, who was fucking murdered? You’re telling me that the straight white-passing guy from 2000s needs therapy more than the Chilean woman in 1969 who made her way through law school only to drop out after losing her fiancee, got tricked into a cult, thought her brother was dead, and was ripped to shreds by bears and now spends her afterlife in a constant state of forgetting? You’re telling me that the straight white-passing guy from 2000s needs therapy more than the Viking warrior who was callously abandoned by his shipmates, his brothers, for reasons he never knew, who spent so much time wandering alone that he befriended a squirrel whom he later had to eat to survive and then spent another 500 years by himself again, as a ghost with no sort of explanation for what was happening to him? You’re telling me that the straight white-passing guy from 2000s needs therapy more than the Lenape man who died right before the biggest night of his life and was forced to watch the colonization of his land and the genocide of his people, unable to do anything, and having to live with his culture and history being erased? You’re telling me that the straight white-passing guy from 2000s needs therapy more than the woman from the 1800s who was married off in a land deal, raped by her cousin and then killed herself in a desperate attempt to save her son, only to watch him grow up and murder the woman who would become her best friend? No he doesn’t. 

Honestly, to me, Trevor is one of the more boring characters, and the only reason he gets so much attention and sympathy both from the show and from the writers is bc he’s a straight white-passing man from the 2000s. I will not be taking criticisms at this time.

As you can see from this new page, while Angel was trying to calm himself down from his panic attack, Blitz's mind is no longer in humane state due to his massive rage that complete clouded his judgement. Also unfortunately to most of you, Valentino is not dead from being stepped on. So, he'll start slowly regenerating to heal off of his bended limbs and wounds. Anyways, two last pages will be coming soon, so I hope you all like this one until then :3
