Work on The Crow Cries at Midnight has been slow, but I have been poking away at outlines and things are finally starting to come together in a way that I'm satisfied with for this arc. I have a few details to work out still, as I had an epiphany about a way to tackle the Hollow Forest and the Marie plotline that also ties into some other developments and canon divergence in the fic. It's still in the oven, so to speak, but I need to take into account the influence that Goro's friendship with Marie as well as Marie's more established bonds in the stories have on her. In Persona 4 Golden, she didn't get a lot of time with everyone outside of her Social Link. In TCCAM, she's had a lot more interactions with the Investigation Team, the Velvet Room attendants, and even characters like Nanako. Bonds are power, and it's those bonds that ultimately allow Marie to exist in the real world in Golden. I've also had a lot of fun with Goro and "Izaya's" back and forth in this arc, as well as the introduction of his Devil Arcana. ;) Kehehe... All in all, I'm starting to realize just how close I am to finishing the Persona 4 installment in the AU. After Hollow Forest and the Izanami confrontation, I might do some small slice of life moments, but even that may be more of a montage of scenes in the interest of pacing. We'll see when I get there. also like it's ""whatever"" but also i'm so so so so glad that GDQ just completely smashed out the posibility of facists, at least of most stripes, because they just very loudly went yeah, okay, we are going to advertise that we're queer, just like all the time. not many MAJOR GAMING EVENTS i can watch where if you say "trans rights" the whole crowd of people in the room is obligated to shout "TRANS RIGHTS!!!!!!" back at you
