Wait I just realised how James is so Call you Mom from Noah Kahan coded

Because he would be ready to lose everything to save his friends even if it meant not being with them anymore or them hating him for it

He would drive, walk, bike or bus to his friends if they needed him at 2 am. He would have his ringer on at night in case his friends were sad and needed to talk. He is the type of person who helps everyone but forgets to help himself, the type who checks up on his friends, and who would call his parents (or Minnie) if his friends were in danger because they are their parental figures too.

He would have stayed up all night saving his friends from falling off the edge. Whilst carrying both his and his friends' weight on his shoulders. Praying they'd make it through another day, so he could make it through another day. He was the type of person whose lives depended on if others were living their own.

When things began to be too sour at home he watched Sirius and knew that his best friend's time was not up yet. He wanted Sirius to be standing in his wedding, and be the aunt to his children, he knew Sirius would always be his other half. So he took him into his family without hesitation or doubt. He offered a home.

He just noticed too late or couldn't do it for Regulus in the end.

Another Fanfic Idea (Marauders)

In a world where one per cent of the population has powers. In this kingdom, people with powers are condemned to a death sentence because they are considered a danger to society. Set in a Middle Ages vibe and universe but with fantasy, three children of three noble families—Regulus, Pandora, and Dorcas—have to run away because their powers were discovered. They try to escape to a nearby kingdom where powers are allowed and even celebrated, ruled by Prince James.

Sirius doesn't hesitate one minute and runs away with his brother Regulus and group, along the way, they save someone with their powers from a pirate attack, that someone reveals themselves to be Prince James. As a reward, they are invited to join his court.

Meanwhile, one of the pirates, Remus was on the pirate boat that sank in the ocean after the defense. He was holding onto a piece of wood unconscious when Sirius saw him and insisted on rescuing him. Now, they all stick together at Prince James’s court, trying to stay safe while dealing with magic and new norms and culture.

( I don't know if it makes sense 🤔 it does in my head, though )

Alternative Potterverse

In my head there is some universe where Harry was raised by Regulus( because he faked his death but came back when after the death of Harry's parents), and therefore grew up alongside Draco. As a result, they knew each other and were friends from the start, both being sorted into Slytherin. And they just end up in some ride-or-die relationship with a toxic best friend to lovers (The Dark Lord was defeated after James and Lily's death by Regulus.)

Remus: Reg's Coach

Regulus: Figure skater (with a "Born to Die" music vibe)

Sirius: Singer in a band with:

Barty: Bassist and singer (song title: My Boy, "Rosekiller" vibe)

Evan: Manager (song title: My Strange Addiction, "Rosekiller" vibe)

Marlene: Drummer

Dorcas: A fan whom Marlene gives a chance to; she works in a café and bookstore.

James: Street dancer/former hockey player, model (sometimes choreographs for the band's music videos), single father to Harry

And it would be different arc of the same story like wolfstar/jegulus/dorlene/rosekiller

Marauders Fanfiction (Jegulus because we like sadness)

After Regulu's death, Sirius finds Reg's diary, where he writes about how he secretly dated James but he obliviated him as soon as he received the Dark Mark, in order not to destroy him. They were together for a year and a half, loving each other madly. After reading one of the letters James had written to Reg, Sirius decides to give everything to James. James then relives an entire part of his life that he has no memory of, but somehow still misses.
