I wish I can take all the time back and be where I was before - before all of this.
That moment I knew I was on my limit. I was in pain and was devastated and I was asking God: Why? The floodgate of thoughts were then opened. I was thinking if only did I chose ‘better’, I won’t be here - in pain and suffering. But then God spoke to me and asked me, “How did you know that where you are right now isn’t where I want you to be?”
Being in pain does not necessarily mean that we made wrong choices or poor decisions or we’re somewhere we shouldn’t be in. And for that matter, you probably chose right. You are exactly where you should be: a place that is out of your comfort zone but the right place to experience God’s grace and redemptive power. There will come a time when you’ll want to go back to where you were before - back at your comfort zone, hoping that you didn’t step out of it and stayed perfectly comforted in your own little bubble. But let me encourage you today.. wherever you are right now is where God wants you to be. It maybe difficult, it maybe hard.. it maybe painful but take heart and rejoice. God is stretching you. He is growing you. There maybe times when you see yourself in the edge, wanting to give up. But take a look back, you’ll see how far you’ve gone.
Being in pain does not necessarily mean you are somewhere you shouldn’t be. Eyes focused, eyes beyond. God is preparing you and building you for His purpose.

Most of the time, I see myself in situations where I say: Lord, this is NOT what I signed up for. But God made me see this: My love for you and saving you, in spite of all the pain & suffering I have to go through, is what I have in mind when I died for you.
Him suffering and dying for me isn’t probably what He signed up for - but because of His great love, He never turned His back on that track but then fought even when He knew what will happen. So, why should we?
May you continually love people and see situations the way God loves and see you. Have a blessed day guys!

#ENLISTED2019 | February 21-23, 2019
It was such a great time of refreshment of the true reason of why we are serving. Learned so much and was reminded of how blessed we are to be able to speak life, disciple, and bring impact to the next generation. Such a privilege to train and guide them to be what God called them to be - as early as now. Kids Church! :)

Set Your Eyes
Tumblr media
There will be good and bad days, I promise.
There’s this moment when God reminded me of who he is in Him. It was when I was being robbed of the joy of my season because of birthed expectations and disappointments that yep, resulted in a whole lot of tears. But God said: never fail to see the good in him.
In God’s eyes, he is a man without equal, a man who is so loved and precious to Him. In God’s eyes, he is the man suited best for me; the one He called and chose to be with me for the rest of my life. And the same goes with me. Though there are times I fail to see this, there is no questioning of God’s chosen; no questioning of God’s will, ways and plans. We were brought together for a reason. God chose us to be together. And if God says so, let it be done.
There will be good and bad days, I promise. But when you keep your eyes to the Author of it all, God will change your heart and transform it into a heart that always love, forgive, hope, trust, and believe.

Absolutely not everyone and  everything but I definitely had so much of people this year! Quite a challenge for me to actually meet & be with new friends and catch up with the others but I think I did well this year. Thank you awesome people!
BIRTHDAY: Surprise!

They were not full trips and travels, probably they should not be even considered as one, but everything above is quite a highlight for me. So, yep! :)
RELATIONSHIP: This guy!

Unexpected, undeserved yet given. More than the relationship itself, the process, stretching and lessons learned everyday is what makes it a whole lot special. :)
Cheers to more this 2019, Lord!

When God chooses..
Remember Saul? Yes, he was the very first appointed king of the Israelites. Yes. That Saul.
He was described as “..an impressive young man without equal..” (1 Samuel 9:2) He must have something in him that made him that kind of man. Unique and special. It gave me the impression of how God never chooses people randomly but intentionally.. and how He chooses perfectly.
God probably saw something in Saul. He saw the good, the potential, and He saw Saul being the perfect man for the fulfillment of His plan. And that made me cry. Why? Because that same God who has chosen Saul is the same God who chose me.
I am as unique and special as Saul was before. Let that sink in for a while. You are unique and special as Saul and many other characters in the Bible whom God has chosen. Wow!
God’s standards in choosing them are the same standards He is looking for now. God is seeing the good, the potential.. He is seeing you and choosing you for you are the perfect person He want to work with for the fulfillment of His plan.
Question is: Are you willing to answer His call?

When God blesses..
Remember Hannah? Remember how she prayed for a son and how she gave that son, Samuel, to the Lord all the days of his life? Yes, that Hannah.
When we looked at the story, it seemed absurd. Just think of something you wanted all your life - something you prayed and cried for - and it was given to you BUT it all ended up with you giving and surrendering it back to the giver. It makes no sense. What’s normal? You ask for something and when you received it, you say thank you. That’s how it should be. But tracing it back, it was because of Hannah’s vow and prayer to the Lord - in which she stayed true on. (1 Samuel 1:11). God blessed her with Samuel, whom she gave to the Lord. But He showed her that He is not yet done.
"And the Lord was gracious to Hannah; she gave birth to three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile, the boy Samuel grew up in the presence of the Lord.” - 1 Samuel 2:21
It is just amazing how Hannah responded and know God as the Blesser - the one who is the source of everything. Giving or surrendering something back to God isn’t an easy task. But Hannah did it because she knows that she was not be able to be the blessee without the Blessor. It is a great reminder that when we know how to acknowledge and never forget God’s heart and work in the things we receive, He will give us more. Just like what God did in Hannah. She was blessed with more children.
When we give back to God - whether it be our finances, skills, talents, time, effort - we just give back something that He truly owns. And we don’t give back to God and lose it. We actually give back and receive more. When God blesses, His heart is to bless us in a way that we cannot contain - He blesses us in a way that is overflowing.
Let’s continually be faithful and good stewards of the things He blesses us with. Have a great day today! :)

In the midst of pain,
In the sorrow of the day,
I’m with you
I’m with you
In your weakest
I am strong
In your brokenness
I made whole
Come rest
In my embrace
Come rest
You’re safe with me
I see your heart
I heard your cry
So come now,
Come rest
You are home
Thank you Lord for reminding me that you are my rest, my escape, my peace, my home.

“Though we sometimes see no or little growth and progress, just persevere. Always be reminded of who we are doing this for. And when we’ll be reminded, we’ll be brought back to the joy and strength - the heart and calling of God to us. When the enemy sees this, he will try to bring destruction. But then again, when God is with us, who can go against us? Fight. Intercede. Never stop. There will come a time when we’ll feel weak and times when we think that things are out of our control. But may we be reminded that God’s grace is abound and God is sovereign. It is only by and through Him we can do all things.” - A Journal Excerpt

Celebrate May
To you who actually listens. There are times when I’m actually surprised by myself with all the things that I talk about when I’m with you. Sometimes it feel like I will never run out of things to say - from the little insignificant ones to the ones that really matter.
To you who loves wholeheartedly. Your huge heart and love for me is overwhelming, overwhelming in a good kind of way. Often times, I am reminded of how I was before everything. How you are loving sacrificially and still loving in spite of the pain and hurt; it reminds me that yes, loving that kind of way is possible.
To you who prays unceasingly. I know that you have all the best intentions for the people you love and I believe that includes me. Thank you. Prayer works and it is very encouraging to know that someone is standing with you in your every situation, struggles and season.
I can’t thank you enough for the prayers and the tears you had shed for me. You are one of the many reasons as to why I am here, one of the instrument that God used in my life. I know I always say thank you for everything and you aren’t much a fan of it but I always say it because basically that is actually what you are doing for me - literally everything. The month may be ending but my gratitude for you and your life will always be here. Thank you Miss! :)
PS: This is my letter. And this is actually a test. A test to know whether you still check this blog. Hahaha!

Serving produces a new kind and level of dependency to God, His power and His work in you. It is a reminder as to how we are not capable but is made able to do things for Him - greater things that we don’t even realize we can do. That is why to be used for His glory and honor alone will always be a humbling experience for me. Thank you Lord for the privilege to serve You! ♥

Often times, you will be both tested - your patience, endurance, faith. You will be pushed to your limits. Not everything will be perfect or will be the way that you want or imagined it to be. Every day, you'll get to know one another better and deeper. Every day, you'll discover new things - good and bad. You'll face conflicts and misunderstandings. You'll be both in agreement and disagreement. But that’s when you’ll realize how it is never about you and your partner but it is ultimately about God and His purpose for your relationship.

Surpassing Worth of Knowing Jesus
Days ago, I find myself tangled in a situation I actually foresaw a long time ago. It was an accumulation of things - not so good things - in my personal life that was suddenly all brought out in the open. God has been impressing these things to me again and again but yes, the stubborn little me decided to just ignore it. But then the epiphany in the case was revealed to me and I was glad to realize that I am ready... ready and willing to give everything up for His purpose and glory alone.
There will come to a point when we will be deciding over things. Am I going to keep this? Or let it go? But it seems good! It seems the best! We will be arguing with ourselves, justifying our thoughts, weighing what seems to be beneficial or not. But then if we truly find satisfaction and contentment in God, see the value of our relationship with Him, we’ll see that everything we have is counted as none compared to the worth of having Jesus Christ. The worth of knowing Him, having a relationship with Him, surpasses everything that we could ever possess.
I hope and pray that we’ll always choose God, to always be able to see who He is in our lives and the privilege to be having a relationship with Him.
Happy May 1st!
