Dorbaja – Assassin of Midgard 6 ✨

This is Dorbaja, a human assassin from Midgard 6 – Die Legenden von Damatu! 🗡️ I created this character sketch for Pegasus Games, and it’s already featured in the digital Playtest Guide. The final version will be fully colored and appear in the finished book later this year! Excited to bring this piece to life—stay tuned! ✨

This portrait of the fallen Elven Lord Maedhrin was a commission for Splittermond in 2024: "A Touch of Frost" by Uhrwerk Verlag. Maedhrin isn’t just a lord—he’s undead, which makes things a little… complicated. 😉 If you venture into this adventure, you might just run into him. Whether that’s a good thing? Well, that’s another question!

„Every story can be rewritten…“

This artwork was created in 2018, and back then, it had a different meaning. But not every story stays the same. Sometimes we must close chapters, leave people behind, and walk a new path – for ourselves, for our healing.

Jaquar’s story was never meant to end. He deserves to be told, in the way I see fit. And by his side now stands Seaennah – a love that understands, respects, and grows with him.

I am bringing this journey to life in my Graphic Novel (WIP) – a story of loss, courage, and the power to rewrite one’s own fate.

💭 Always remember: The way we treat those close to us leaves a mark – whether we realize it or not. Be mindful of what you say, what you do, and whether you are truly fair.

Meet Battlesister Takahashi Saiko, a proud member of the Order of the Holy Selene. Stationed in Segmentum Obscurus, Imperium Nihilus, she stands firm against the horrors of Chaos. The four dark gods lurk in the shadows, but by her side watches a golden ghost cat – a symbol of the God-Emperor’s light.

This private commission was my first venture into the Warhammer universe – and I absolutely loved working on it! 🎨⚔️

Melyanna's Love - Oil on canvas, framed 49x59 cm - "This painting depicts the extraordinary love between Melian, the Maia, and Thingol, the King of Doriath. Their bond was so profound that they both left their origins behind to live together. Together, they founded one of the most important Elven kingdoms in Middle-earth. As my first work with oil paints, it was important to me to capture the mystical aura of Melian and the regal presence of Thingol in a harmonious and timeless scene. The love and unity between the two are reflected in every brushstroke." Painted in 2023 No AI was involved in the creation of this artwork. Amel-Issu Vipernzahn – Neshu Pirate from Daidar

"Live and love as you wish." – Amel-Issu is a playable character whose portrait I had the pleasure of painting for the playtest guide of the new Midgard 6 tabletop role-playing game by Pegasus Spiele. He/She belongs to the newly introduced species of Neshu, the cat people, in the Midgard system. It was an amazing experience to contribute to the visual development of this new playable species! 😃❤️

"Asha-Vera, goddess of the Immersommer elves and guardian of summer" - Digital Illustration 2024

This was my favorite illustration I had the pleasure of contributing to the Splittermond anniversary book "A Touch of Frost" by Uhrwerk Verlag.The summer goddess radiates so much joy and warmth (even though she feels cold herself) that I can´t stop looking at her. By the way, she`s accompanied by a Mias-cat. 🐱🌼

Thrilled to share my latest illustration from the world of Splittermond: the deserted capital city of Albronnen, built by dragonkind in Wintholt! This piece was created for the book “A Touch of Frost,” already available in the Uhrwerk Verlag shop, with the print version coming in December. This is the second illustration from this book I’m sharing, and working on Albronnen’s atmospheric, frosty landscape was a real joy. Hope it inspires you as much as it did me! ❄️💙

“Jaquar”- digital painting 2023 I'm not allowed to show anything I'm working on yet. That's why my old role-playing character "Jaquar" makes another appearance here. Jaquar comes from a Beleriand tabletop-roleplaygroup with whom we played for 7 years weekly in the world of Tolkien's "Silmarillion" . I developed the character very intensively and a lot has happened to him during the seven years, which is why he is still very close to my heart. The group unfortunately disbanded about 4 years ago. But maybe at some point I'll get around to immortalizing his story in a graphic novel, which I've been preparing from time to time… but right now I'm barely making any progress. There's just too much else to do. By the way, the music in the video is again from the great D20 Sounds, who kindly allowed me to use it.

'The Light in your Heart-Rescue of Maedhros'-Digital Painting 2019. This Tolkien fanart shows the dramatic rescue of Maedhros by Fingon and the eagle Thorondor from the Thangorodrim Mountains. Fingon had to cut off his friend's right hand to free him from Morgoth's bonds.
