He gives off girl's dad vibe for me. If you guys have a girl, or with Renesmee. He dresses up in the fairy suits, plays princess with her., the tea parties the whole nine yards.

Hes just generally good with kids, that migtht be bc he had a lot of younger siblings when he was human.

He wears leather jackets everywhere and since hes 6'5 and a jacked guy in general so he looks scary. He was anxious about following you at first (Edawrd gave him that brilliant advice) since he didnt want to spook you or anything. Em generally gave up on that tactic and just went up to you in gym class.

I mentioned in the first part that he can get jealous. He covers it well, until Edward or Jasper tell him someone likes you, then he gets a little posessive.

"Look, bud, not to be a dick or anything but youre eyeing my girlfriend there so i suggest youd love to stop before i help you stop, how about that?" or something like that

Hes not big on alcohol, since her cant get drunk, but drinks with you and your friends if you want him to.

Emmett is a dog person, and you can't convince me otherwise- I can imagine him having a border collie or akita, even maybe a smaller dog while he bought you a doberman

Its canon that he went to college for a lot of things but nevr finished any of his degrees, and I can see him studying interior design.

Moving to a small town in the middle of the year wasn't ideal, but I had to make that move with my twin, Bella. I didn't really get along with her or our dad.. but it was necessary.

I sat in my room, glancing out the window. I couldn't decide what to wear on my first day, it should be classy but not snobbish.. man that choice was hard. I ended up going with a plaid skirt and a black turtleneck.. that should do it. I just folded the clothes on my chair, when I heard a weird noise. "an animal in the forest.." I tried calming myself but it was hard. This whole town gave me chills, I felt watched...

As Bella pulled up with our truck in front of the school I felt nervous, but in a good way I suppose. Just as we walked in, a guy immediately swarmed us with questions..

"hey, I heard you guys are new! I'm Eric, the eye and ear of the school" the black haired guy smiled, and greeted us.

"Nice to, uh, nice to meet you" Bella mumbled, biting her lips

"nice to meet you, yeah" I echoed, a little more confidently.

Our classes quickly went by, it wasn't anything interesting, the same shit every class, introduce yourself, get whispers and then move on, wasn't necessarily a good cycle but all first days are like that.

I sat in the cafeteria with Bella, and the mew friends we made when a few people walked in, capturing Bella's attention.

"Who are they?" She asked the girls sitting at our table

"oh they're the Cullen's.. okay so.. they're like the foster kids of Dr and Ms Cullen.. they're so weird, they're adopted siblings but there together, like together together" Jessica explain

"I mean.. he could foster me too" Angela commented, something we all giggled at

"yeah so.. the blond girl is Rosalie, she's with the buff guy, Emmett" Jessica continued "Then there is the short girl, Alice.. she's extremely creepy" she finished

"And.. who's he?" Bella asked, glancing at a brunette. I zoned out, not really caring about the boy talk, there was no need for crushes on the first day, right?

Right.. until I spotted him.

"And that's Jasper.. He's a little weird, extremely hot, but isolated" Jessica said lastly, shrugging.

"Is he like.. single?" I asked before I could stop the words coming out of my mouth, glancing back at him again.

"Ohh someone is smittennn" Angela teased me slightly, smirking a little

"he is but-" Jessica started before she stopped for a few moments "he doesn't date.. at all"

"It's not like I'm into him" I defended myself, shrugging. Yeah, right.

After lunch, I had history, Eric lent me a map of the school, thankfully, sadly he wasn't here to lead me around now. My head emerged in the paper, trying to figure out where the classroom was I had to be in. I started walking while glancing at the map when I hit something hard and cold..

I glanced up, only to be met with a pair of yellowish eyes

"Are you okay-?" Jasper asked half interested but he sounded.. nervous..?

"yeah, yeah I'm fine- I'm just new and I can't find my way to class- I'm a total douche for bumping into you like that- Sorry" I muttered getting flustered

"It's good, no worries" he said which was a little surprising "Which class are you heading to?"

"Mr. Hemsworth's History" I smiled, playing with my hair in nervousness

"really?" He questioned "Same" Jasper shrugged. Only then did I notice how much taller he was than me.

"what a coincidence" I mumbled, still a little antsy. He was so weird yet so.. captivating.

"So, you got lost or what?" He chuckled, his southern drawl shining through

"is it that obvious..?" I laughed nervously

"C'mon, I'll show you" he nodded and started walking, expecting me to follow him.

I actually sat next to him for some reason, I didn't even know why. I sat next to the window, looking at the forest next to us without paying much attention to the teacher. The trees were a lot more beautiful than what I remembered from my childhood. I longed to go out there and check it out again.. I didn't even notice I was bumping my leg up and down, lost in my thoughts until I felt a cold, terribly cold hand on my knee, that surely snapped me out of it.

"Everything okay..?" The blond whispered over to me

"I ah yeah" I replied, and that was it.. but that interaction made me uneasy..

Why was he so cold? It was almost like ice. I tried shrugging the weird feelings off but it was impossible. He was inhumanly cold.. and stoic.. and his eyes were weird too..

Or I was being too judgemental, and I'm just used to the Arizona weather and people, maybe he's low iron or whatever and he's cold..

Or maybe...

No, I just didn't sleep enough and my brain wasn't functioning. He seemed to sense my distress and glanced over at me with an unusual amount of worry for someone I didn't even know. I tried not paying attention to his eyes on me every few seconds but it was hard.

Class luckily finished as fast as it came, or I was just daydreaming about the sun and sand, I longed to be back in Arizona. I got out of the classroom, meeting up with Bella and the others which eased my heart somehow.

"Oh hi girlll" Eric greeted me, smiling goofily. "Got over your first history class, eh? Must suck with Mr Hemsworth."

"Why, he seemed alright?" I questioned curiously

"oh he's strict, I swear" Jessica cut in, her tone gave her dislike for our teacher away "He's the worst" she groaned

"I didn't pay attention, I don't know" a chuckle escaped me at her reaction

"Met anyone cute?" Angela giggled, nudging me

"You wouldn't believe who I bumped into-" I started before Bella cut me off..

"I had biology with Edward" she smiled slightly

And there it was, all the attention on her again, which don't get me wrong, was alright. I just wanted to finish my sentence for once. Things like this usually happen. I was listening to her and the others talk about the Cullens and how weird they are, before I heard a familiar voice that sent chills down my spine

"Hey, new girl" Jasper called out to me, holding my sketchbook "You left this in history, thought you might need it later" he smiled, holding the book out for me

"Thank you, really, I can't believe how clumsy I am" I smiled back, talking it from his hands. His fingers brushed against mine and I felt how cold he was again... It really made me uneasy.

"well I gotta go find my family" he made an excuse as soon as I pulled my hand away

"Oka-" I started, just as Jessica and the others pulled me away giggling.

"Hey what was that now?" Eric grinned "He actually brought it after you"

"it's nothing I just left it" I shrugged it off

"nothing? Honey, he doesn't talk to people other than his family and teachers" Angela explained

"it's still nothing" I smiled, knowing I got him to talk...
