As for other semi-recent art, I know gender-swapping just one of them can be a touchy topic, but somehow making Takano a woman just hits a lot more for me than making Ritsu one. There was a bit of a buzz on the Twitter side of the fandom mixing them up every possible way (yuri, just fem!Ritsu, plus this) so it fell into that short-lived trend.

I just think a gentlemanly type + tsundere wrapped into one paired with someone like Takano who enjoys harassing Ritsu at every turn would be a trainwreck that I'd love to watch.
