You carved a smile on my face

I'm the best woodwork you've made

You made me blue

When I was so green

Innocence in that hour turned into a masterpiece

I looked away as your shaking hands left your initials on me

A sliver in your finger

Aren't you proud that you're the one who made me

Cold plays 

There’s barely a beat in my heart

Survival mode seems to be dis-functioning 

Let me sleep like Snow White 

To walk by faith feels like spiritual boot camp

My soul looks like

I became exhausted

The idea of going back to the beginning

Would keep me from the very end as I think ahead

I haven't had water since I began

I need to keep myself healthy

I can't seem to make a move

Body after body I couldn't find a home

They left me on the porch

I kept to myself

Time moved, forgot about them

Smiled for once to not have to wonder

Then you stepped in

Said you admired me from afar

Told me about me

Wanted everything right from the start

Feeling exposed, Your arms opened

Calling me home

I saw honesty in your eyes

And this nascent relationship began

You gave life for life, eternally
