Drone footage of the upper part of the Isar river near Vorderriss in the Bavarian Alps. The valley is awesome, I come there to enjoy nature and recharge my batteries since decades. The riverbed is always changing and offers great places for sunbathing and chillaxing. A cute Seaturtle grazing in the bay of Abu Dabab. Eventhough there are lots of snorkellers and divers the turtles there are very calm and show hardly any notice of their surroundings. Which is good as it seems they haven't made bad experiences with dimwits trying to touch or even let themselves drag them by the turtle. Remember they need their food and they breathe air so they have to get to the surface. So don't be dumb and hassle them. This is the bow of the Hilma Hooker lying between 20 and 30 m on the west shore of Bonaire.The Hilma Hooker - which is not her real name - is a beautiful wreck. But she also got an interesting past as dope smuggling vessel. Bonaire is a real gem in the Caribbean. The island is an eye teaser, it has wild donkeys, flamingos and the heck a lot of iguanas and the shore diving is soooo cool!! The divespots are great hardly any trash floating around, no fishing lines and stunning flora and fauna! These shots are made at the salt pier, a fine muck diving spot. Sleepy squid is sleepy. No, not really even though their curved iris may make them look like falling asleep in an instant, they are wide awake. This one was one out of four beautiful mollusks hovering right below or boat. Some impressions from my hiking trip from Dr. Bartholomä at the Königsee near Berchtesgaden to the Kärlingerhaus right above the out of this world Funtensee. The hike from Königsee up through the Saugasse (= pig alley) - nasty, but beautiful - to the Kärlingerhaus is quite challenging with 1248 m up and another 215 m down. But it was rewarding the foggy scenery offering really mystic sights while ascending on Friday was as great as going down the next day with some clouds and sun. The Kärlinghaus is definitely a great destination, which makes reservation in advance necessary, but it's worth the pain and for me I say that literally! A groundhog inspecting whether we are friend or foe or if we have food for him or her. This one was a courageous one, the exit of his underground palace was right beside the hiking trail. So contact with humans was inevitable, but this marmot was rather curious than timid. We did not feed it anyway as feeding wild animals usually is not for their own good.
