It's thresher shark season !!!Thresher sharks are large lamniform sharks of the family Alopiidae found in all temperate and tropical oceans of the world.  they are One of the unique fishes in the shark family. For having a longer tail than the usual shark, you can easily spot them underwater as they move slowly. 🌬️The Calm Before The Storm!!!⛈️ - This one is going to be text heavy so be prepared to get your reading glasses if interested. - Quick update: I took a little time off of social media recently to catch up on life and commitments that I saw starting to way me down. - This past month has been an ultra challenging one for me in a variety of ways including physically, mentally, at work, and at home. - If you were unaware, I have been in the process of gaining certifications for an upcoming trip to Roatan happening TODAY,… and it truly took a toll on me. - It’s not often that I have to take a few steps back and hit the pause button on life,… but family and friends were there for me and helped me in the process. - @digitalfluke and myself had signed up with @submergeunderwater, @everyday.mermaid, and @seasickproductions to embark on a @mertailor 🧜🏻‍♀️/🧜🏻‍♂️ trip of a lifetime to the island of Roatan for 8 days of scuba and underwater modeling fun. - We had to invest a lot of time, money, and patience in the process to get certified through @fisheyescuba as a @paditv open water diver which was exciting, scary, and amazing to say the least. We then continued our training through @seasickproductions for advanced open water, and nitrox diving in order to be ready for this endeavor and let me tell you,… it’s no easy feat!!! - I also have to say thank you to a few more. Working hand in hand with @f45_training_westparkroseville and @nutrishoproseville I was able to achieve a great deal of fitness goals I had before hitting the deadline for this trip. The Zenobia is regarded as one of the top ten wrecks in the world. The Zenobia was a Swedish Ferry which sank on her maiden voyage in June 1980. She now lies at short distance from the port of Larnaca with 104 fully loaded lorries onboard. The top of the wreck is at 16 meters and the seabed where the wreck lies is at 42 meters. The Zenobia is suitable for all levels or certified divers including the most demanding technical divers.

A truly amazing experience to see the ship which at the time of sinking was fully loaded with cargo lorries, it’s a great experience to see the extremely large vessel quietly resting on the sea bed with its upper deck cargo of lorries laying on the sandy bottom surrounding the vessel A must for any qualified diver. The wreck turned into an artifcial reef and became home to large Groupers, Barracuda, Moray Eels, Sea Bream and Amber Jacks. Zenobia routes: 1. From the propeller down to 40m to see “kissing trucks” and eggs 2. Anchor, penetration to cafeteria and bridge 3. Penetration into first lorry deck, truck with bones, lift shaft, bottles with ethilium alcohol 4. Accommodation, air pocket, exit through cafeteria 5. Second lorry deck, sleeping bags, “captain’s car”, Blue Lada 6. Second lorry deck, forklift 7. Anchor chain locker penetration, bridge, laundry room 8. Medical room, picture with trees, exit through officer’s accommodation 9. Engine room. Tour of the engine room. Exit through first lorry deck 10. Engine room. Tour of engine room. Exit through second lorry deck.
