Figured I’d post this bc my likelihood of coloring it is low lmao. Tommy and Carina finally become friends again after a few decades bc neither of their spouses like horror movies

Here have a WIP Why don't I draw more? I should draw more!
I've been wanting to draw this forever. It's Cyril and Imelda's wedding picture. He's Japanese/Korean and wearing an obi/barong combo and she's Filipina and wearing a kimono and I just think it's sweet.
They have an autumn wedding.
Cyril's nephew is the ring bearer and their dogs are the flower girls.
This is the first time I'm drawing these two. So designs were pulled out of my butt.

Wanted to take a break from my other beading project and knocked out two pairs of earrings yesterday! Giving me spring but made during the ice storm of Jan 2024

Okay I love these earrings! I feel like I used every single skill I’ve learned beading so far to make them.

Latest pair of beaded earrings. Started mostly as a way to learn, and quickly became a very emotional art piece. Sent them off to a friend today.
I think I’ll keep using buttons (esp wooden buttons) as cabs!

Death and Life (OC version of the Gustav Klimt painting)
This took forever to draw and its definitely the most amount of people I’ve ever drawn in one illustration.
[Image ID: digital illustration of Gustav Klimt’s Life and Death but with OPs original characters. The lone figure on the left (death) is Enkòzi Longarrow - a tan, dark haired, middle aged woman who is clutching a black iridescent feather in one hand and looking to the right with longing. She is covered by a dark blanket decorated with the night sky - there are stars and medicine wheels in white on dark blue and purple circles. She has one blue eye with two scars running over it and down to the corner of her mouth with a jagged hole were her cheek should be. Some of her teeth are visible through the hole. There is a golden floral halo circling her head.
To the right (life) is a mass of 14 people - all with their eyes closed and holding onto each other.
The background is a mottled gradient with brown on the left and green on the right. End ID.]

First embroidery style beaded earrings! Learned a lot with these - like I can buy a faux leather coat from goodwill for $3 that would otherwise be thrown out bc there are a hundred of them that didn’t sell at target - too tight and too loose are both problems, beading is moderation - and do whatever you want forever. Have fun and be creative! Also the beadfix glue I have will ruin said faux leather material. Whomp womp.

[Image Description: a digital drawing of Cecil Palmer from Welcome to Nightvale. Cecil is a Native American man with tanned skin and long white hair parted on the right side. He is wearing heart-shaped sunglasses that are reflecting the desert sunset, and a brown jacket over a button-up shirt. His belt buckle, earrings, and bolo tie are also shaped like hearts. Cecil is depicted from the thighs up in a desert during sunset. The dunes and cacti behind him are entirely in shadow against the colorful, streaked sky. He looks to the right, his hair blown by the wind, as he pulls his jacket closer to his body. End Description.]
Long time followers know I’m a cranky brown woman and one of the things that makes me cranky is the use of American South West aesthetics without homage to the Indigenous and Black Americans and Mexicans that invented the aesthetic. My Cecil is Native (and your question should be “which tribe?!” But I haven’t decided yet. I’m pondering.) He started going gray when he was a teenager and had fully white hair by the time he was 25.
Also I love how this came out! The sky!! The plants!! The sunglasses B-)
