|| This moment was so epic! It was so sad when Jean died the literal moment after in X2, though the Phoenix revived her.

Jean stared intently in his direction, the wind around them grew stronger and the floor began to crack. Her eyes piercing, her gaze striking, it was clear the Phoenix was in control. With a disorientated expression, it looked at if Jean was fighting back - though drastically failing throughout.

I’ve taken quite a few Spanish lessons in my time, you know. She couldn’t help but smile. However bad, horrible and malicious the Phoenix was - which could take over at any minute - Jean was a kind, generous and caring young telepath. Never would she use her powers for bad, though she couldn’t say the same for her ‘persona’.

Why thank you, Eleazar. I was trained by one of the most powerful telepaths to ever exist in humanity, Charles Xavier. Even now, he admits himself that I can control just as much as he can. She smiled once more, then felt hesitant, her emotions getting the better of her. The Phoenix was far more powerful than Jean, however. Although it was an entity, it was almost like she owned a split-personality. The Phoenix had killed Charles. Killed him. Just thinking about it, she got teary.

Jean's eyes grew watery at the moment Ally mentioned Xavier's death. She looked down, teary. "Yes...He was an exceptional man.." She answered hesitantly, living with the pain that she was the one to kill him. Or rather still, the Phoenix.

She smiled softly at her, ‘wow I haven’t been at the Xavier institute since I was 14… you weren’t there at the time…’ She facepalmed, ‘Damn I’m old…’

"Telepathy, my friend. A strong thing. Though, I assure you..." She noticed he assumed her to be force sensitive. "I am not force sensitive. I am a human, a mutant. Mutants are humans with different genes, who own abilities or different and rare-like appearances. I, being one of the strongest." She admitted. She hated to brag - but it was true, if she was to be perfectly honest. Though, with the entity of the Phoenix within her, she was unstoppable. Though she hated the Phoenix. Despised it.
