my entry for Christian Faber's and Duckbrick's Rebel Nature WaveBuilt contest:

Seafloor Geothermal Energy plant Coral Reef

"A relic from the old world, this facility was built to pump up magma to the sea floor and use the temperature difference with the surrounding ocean to generate electricity. The largely self-sufficient plant has kept on running even without maintenance but something has changed.

Over time, the warmth emanating from the magma tubes have attracted life not usually seen in this part of the ocean and the geothermal plant has now become a colorful coral reef. The once abandoned facility is now teeming with life."

I built this in Stud.io with a lot of intersecting pieces, rendered it in a few separate passes and then assembled the final image using those renders and some more drawing.

I also used the brick-build Barraki sea squid/launcher squid from Sokoda's Bionicle Legend MOC as a little Bionicle reference

I haven't had time to really look into it yet obviously but I browsed over it and one thing caught my eye

Toa Nidhiki the Monster

You guys. Here's my take on the Nidhiki, Toa Mangai of Air.

While the shoulder armor is inspired by one to two of the entries (FuzzyFikou & Joxbuilds) of the Nidhiki fanon contest hold by Duckbricks' YouTube channel, as for the lower legs they were largely identical to the ones created by the winner of that contest, Luhan, but I preferred here to use instead the pearl light gray parts ☺️

For the mask I got it 3d printed and painted from the X user Bonkle enjoyer, who run a shop named Biomechanical forge, producing very high-quality custom staff.

I started my first knitting project this year and I finished this vest in little under a month.

I added these cheap little ring clips as a decoration and closure and now it looks so badass. My absolute favorite piece of clothing I made this year!

Rewatching after having just run a oneshot based on this movie

I still stand by Donna being a Rogue and Grace being a high elf. I also would now say Beef is a Goliath Ranger (the Aquaman figure is his familiar)

Unaccompanied Minors is a whole D&D game of a Christmas movie and that’s why it’s one of my top favorites. It’s a bunch of lvl 1 hooligans, with a variety of interesting backstories, personalities, and skillsets wreaking havoc in an airport that end up becoming a team and then a found family. That is literally as D&D as it gets.

Every year I play the “what class are the kids?” game. No sure consensus has been made yet.

(Charlie is a bard. I don’t take criticism on that one).

I have Percy pictures!

My Percy cosplay in its full glory. And this is not even its final form yet.

I sadly couldn't bring The List on the con grounds with me, so no full on "no mercy Percy" yet, but I at least had a "replacement character" prepared in case anyone would have killed me 😜

Also sadly not visible in the pictures is Diplomacy's light up effect, so you just gotta believe me when I tell you that the gem on the back of the glove and the "wires" light up light blue.
