I’m o the final push of the thesis and I have a load of people I want to talk to but can I just say for now that everyone is talking about what Ryan should do next and I have an EXCELLENT idea because Anne Cleeves who writes the books that the detective dramas Vera and Shetland has just released the first of a new series set in North Devon which is a) spectacularly beautiful and b) where I live and the lead detective in is is married to a man and was kicked out of an evangelical chrisitan sect which idk but that sounds perfect to me cause it’s been green-lit for TV production. 

What I’m saying is: Ryan for gritty and beautifully shot ITV drama where he plays a gay detective and looks at breathtaking scenery 2020 please and thank.

Donna Noble was a female character who:

-was in her early forties but didn’t have her life all together yet

-didn’t have a perfect Hollywood figure but nobody made a joke about her weight (to my knowledge)

-super funny and empathetic

-doubted her capabilities at first but learned to trust herself

-wanted to go on crazy space adventures but simultaneously wanted to get married and have a family and she was never derided for wanting both

-had a rich platonic relationship with the Doctor

-Appreciate Donna Noble

Maybe give that one a skip Hannah - Blue Eyes and Kiss Red Lips is much better and The Poisoned Chalice (huh, royal aus seem to be a thing) still has some artistic merit.
