Great book to screen intimate scene but I really hate the music like out of everything to rescore into a classically they chose pitbull give me everything I think they focused too much on the lyrics instead of the way that it sounded to the moment on the screen.

Libraries used to be open until like 10 o’clock in the evening, and it was glorious as an escape from everything else. I feel bad for kids these days cause they’ll never really have the same kind of escapes that I did because of technological advances and short attention spans.

I do like half of these things, but this whole list is basically very essential. I do like the part about learning new things so I definitely will be adding that to my monthly calendar and the best place to learn something new is on this app called Skillshare. You should definitely check it out if you haven’t, my link is going to be attached to this post and you can get a free month and learn basically anything from photography to sewing.
What to plan at the beginning of each month
- Mani / Pedi
- Hair trim every two months
- A facial
- Date night by yourself or with your s/o
- A day spent completely by yourself
- Deep clean room
- Write down important events for the month in a calendar
- Spa day
- One breakfast / lunch / dinner with friends
- Pick a day to learn something new
- A day / weekend spent outdoors (hiking, camping, kayaking, grounding)
- Deep condition hair with mask
- Give yourself a new routine
- Throw away things (or people) that no longer serve you
- Plan your month goals in a journal

This is something I really need to implement with extreme prejudice because it’s something that I feel like I’ve never been good at being disciplined for myself. When it comes to other people, I can always rise to the occasion, but if it’s something that only affects only me, I tend to just slack or procrastinate on things I need or want to do for myself.
I hope to really enforce the idea of being disciplined for the rest of this year and going forward for 2024. I think I’m going to start implementing the hundred days of productivity and posting every day starting next week. This will also help me develop a few skills I need like typing. (yes, I know it’s sad that I type so slow in this day and age but it’s some thing I really need to develop since I do a lot of work and logistics/operations)
40 Tips For Becoming More Disciplined 📌💡🚀📝
Know what you want to achieve soon and in the future. This helps you know where to go and stay motivated.
Do the most important things first to save time and energy.
Have a daily plan that includes work, rest, exercise, and learning.
Make big tasks smaller so they're not scary, and you can see progress.
Use methods like the Pomodoro Technique (working for a while, then resting) or blocking time to get more done.
Notice when you're avoiding work and make yourself start.
Control yourself from getting distracted or doing things just for fun.
Say no politely when you can't do more things without getting stressed.
Stay healthy by eating well, exercising, and sleeping enough.
Keep learning by reading, taking classes, or trying new things.
Check how you're doing with your goals and change plans if needed.
Tell a friend or mentor your goals so they can help you stay on track.
Keep your spaces tidy to help you focus better.
Learning discipline takes time, and it's okay if things don't go perfectly.
Think good thoughts about yourself instead of bad ones.
Imagine doing well to get motivated.
Mistakes are chances to learn, not reasons to give up.
Be happy about even small successes to stay positive.
Listen to advice from others to get better.
Be ready to change your plans but keep your main goals.
Try mindfulness to concentrate, be calm, and know yourself better.
Write about your progress and plans in a journal.
Turn off things like social media when you work or study.
Think about things you're thankful for to stay happy.
Do quick tasks right away instead of waiting.
Spend time with people who help you and make you want to be better.
Let others do tasks that you don't need to do, so you can focus.
Get better at handling problems without giving up.
Picture doing well to stay motivated.
Drink water to think clearly and stay healthy.
Have a special place to work or study to help you focus.
Wait for bigger rewards instead of quick ones.
Keep things simple, both around you and in your mind, so you can concentrate.
Listen to advice without feeling bad about yourself.
Use apps and tools to manage your tasks and time.
Reading helps you learn and think better.
Decide what's good enough for you and stick to it.
Believe you can get smarter and better with practice.
Do creative things to stay imaginative and interested.
Listen carefully to others to be better at talking and understanding.

Turning your life around? Coming out of a funk? Getting over a breakup? Need to reignite your spark for life? Need to feel in control? Want a boost of confidence? Dealing with low self esteem?
Where to start:
Exercise every day
Skincare + makeup of personal preference (yes this includes not wearing makeup at all if that is your personal preference)
Hair done
Showered and moisturized
At least one hobby you engage with on a daily/frequent basis
At least one skill you are developing on a daily/frequent basis
If you haven’t gotten a 7 day workout streak and completed the other bullet points on this list yet, stop moaning, get to work, and kill your distractions.
This is level 0.

the next six months 🥂
Half the year has gone by, and it seems I don't have much to show for it.
I've lost what I thought was a lifelong friend, finally had and quit my highest paying job, to date, for my mental health, and soon I will be moving out of the state for the first time to stay with my little brother. I feel like I've hit rock bottom. No friends, no car, no income, no home of my own, no direction, no plan, no safety net, no plan b-z. Just no, lol.
I feel out of sorts. I feel lost. I feel free. I feel unburdened. The past six months haven't been all bad. Now, I can finally focus on myself. No excuses. And I'm finally in the head space to do just that without feeling guilty about it (oldest daughter/people pleaser problems).
So, here's to finishing the year stronger than we started. As I lay in bed, thinking, dreaming, planning, envisioning what my life will eventually be, I can't help but obsessively imagine what I want for myself by the end of 2023. 🍾
The next six months will look a lot like:
🌱 Prioritizing my well-being. I'll do this by taking care of myself:
Physically
Working out consistently
Eating healthier
Visiting the doctor regularly
Investing in my appearance
Mentally
Learning Spanish and ASL
Going back to school for Finance
Reading more of what I used to enjoy reading
Pursuing my passion for writing
Not judging myself too harshly
Giving myself permission to make mistakes
Removing unrealistic expectations
Bettering my social skills and improving my confidence
Emotionally
Showing up for myself
Putting myself first
Setting boundaries
Respecting myself, “People only do to you what you allow”
Speaking kindly to myself
Giving myself grace
Forgiving myself
Loving myself
Getting therapy
Financially
Securing steady employment (getting my CNA license)
Making a plan to become debt free
Securing personal transportation
Saving enough for the first 3 months of my next lease
Keeping a savings (no more transfers to checkings)
Budgeting monthly, no more late or missed payments
Spiritually
Journaling my gratitude daily
Being out in nature more
Monitoring social media/technology usage
Meditating
Finding my community
🧘🏽♀️ Being more intentional/mindful. I'll do this by:
Practicing Gratitude
Choosing carefully who and what I give energy to
Acknowledging my shortcomings
Being more open minded
🫶🏽 Getting to know myself. I'll do this by:
Healing my inner child, e.g., going to an amusement park and getting my roller skates
Allowing myself more creative outlets/hobbies and being consistent with them
Doing things just for the fun of it
Travelling (getting my passport) and getting out of my element
Doing more of the things I like e.g., going to the beach, seeing another opera or theatre show
Doing things I want to do e.g., going on a cruise, going camping in the mountains, going on a road trip
🙏🏽 Trusting the process. I'll do this by:
Setting SMART goals
Focusing on the things I can control
Changing the way I think about failures and obstacles
Being patient
Not worrying about the future
Staying committed
Documenting my journey
Living and enjoying the moment

I may take this challenge, but my fasting might be a little different. My diet may also be a little different as well. I don’t think I can cut out meat completely, but I definitely won’t be eating much red meat. I think the main thing with me is deciding to stop eating outside food. I waste so much time and money.
I completely let go of myself after finals so here is a list of things I implemented into my day to day life this month:
Intermittent fasting: I’m currently doing 20/4 having a smoothie or some kind of protein drink as a snack to end fasting, doing a workout and then having a large meal and fruits and oats as desert. Then I start fasting again, it works for me because my eating behaviour was out of hand
Nutrition: I cut meat and sugar. I‘m making cheat days on special occasions like birthday gatherings, etc. but mostly I’m eating veggies, high protein and high fiber.
Hydration: drinking 2 liters of water, tea and some black coffee in the morning every day. No soda, no milk, nothing
No addictive substances: no alcohol, no smoke. Trying to reduce technology aswell.
Fitness: workouts, stretching, yoga, Pilates, running, swimming, bicycling, volleyball. I try to be active everyday at least for 20 minutes. I‘m extending the time when i‘m fitter.
Mindfulness: journaling, reading, meditation or listening to podcast. You gotta keep growing through outside inputs.
Beauty: taking care of my look and my outer appearance. My skin, hair and nails are clean. My apartment and car are clean. I cherish and take care of myself and the things I own.
Love: spending time and giving love to my family and my closest friends. Making time for them and showing effort.
I’m currently on my second week and most days I’m feeling great. I‘m still not happy with my workout schedule but next week I got a buddy who‘ll help me get better and fitter and I’m looking forward to it.
Things I want to change, but didn‘t had time yet:
Applying for a new and better job
Having a creative hobby (drawing or writing)
More character improvement
