Re-brand for my freelance handle. I think, after 5 years, I've come up with something that I am 100% in love with. Hopefully I feel the same next week.

A client had discovered me and the work I had previously done with Japanese Mon's. This time the client had no connection to Japanese heritage but still wanted the simplicity and boldness that mon's can often offer. The client's family had a long history of being connected to the trident. What you see is the finished family emblem.

The Futura of T-shirt design.
Formulaic t-shirt design keeps me up at night. Here is my ode to this rampant trend.

An attempt at a minimalist style movie poster. Seeing as The Matrix is my favourite movie (along with the sequels) I thought it a good place to start.

Country Treats is a natural, organic substitute for flour products made from 100% chestnuts.
Country Treats required an earthy, fresh brand that could be easily identified on a supermarket shelf amongst other health-food products.
Business cards and simple packaging design (bag wrappers) were also created for Country Treats.

This is a re-drawn crest for a local student hall called Fergusson Hall. They were without digital versions of their crest and they needed representation in order to celebrate their upcoming 50th jubilee.

Identity created for a collection of gamers who go by 'Nightshift'. I enjoy crafting symbols from scratch through a research process I'd like to say is 'finely tuned' but in fact is the exact opposite (starts off with a mind-map and then just explodes and goes in all sorts of directions).

A little while ago, my ex-girlfriend’s father, who is Japanese, asked me to invent a crest that represented his family. Without going in to too much detail and divulging the family name, the symbolism in this crest was well received (crabs, star/flower).
Time was spent researching the Heian period (794 to 1185) and how family crests/symbols came to be.

Another snippet from my re-vamped portfolio. Please excuse the terrible kerning. I'm really injecting a lot more typography into this new edition.
