TRAINEE OPPORTUNITIES.
Opportunities are the third prompt in the trainee cycle, but they are only available for those trainees who have signed up to participate in one of the available subplots (Dream High, Mickey’s Club House). They cover filming sessions for the opportunities posted. Dream High filming can be found on the main news blog while Mickey’s Club House and other future opportunities will be detailed below. Posts should be completed in the usual 4/4 350+ words to qualify for points, or should be a solo of 500+ words.
MICKEY’S CLUB HOUSE.
Spring is in the air, and this episode of Mickey’s Club House will be moving outdoors! The hosts and cast vill visit the Jinhae Cherry Blossom Festival, and team up into duos to answer a quiz about Korean festivals. (Insert the duos here). The price this time is cherry blossom-themed snacks, and while there is no punishment, the losers’ non-knowledge is sure to be brought up to tease them at a later point. The members are highly encouraged to take moments to discuss what the answer might be with their partner. At the end of the show, there will be a surprise - a boat ride underneath the blooming trees! While the members obviously knew about this beforehand, be sure to put on your best surprised expression. Hope you’re not afraid of water!

TRAINEE LOTTO: The winner of the trainee lottery will be announced at the posting of the next lottery, for those curious.
MICKEY’S CLUB HOUSE.
This episode block of Mickey’s Club House will, of course, feature the usual playful banter between hosts and cast. There will be a special game played, where members must perform an SNL-lite style skit about the different types of students in school (remember your audience are middle schoolers) and about the different types of idols! They can create these tropes/stereotypes as they please but should absolutely refrain from anything too scandalous or risque, clearly. There will also be the mandatory sort of luck-fire-luck competition with a roulette wheel of various aegyo punishments, silly things to wear, and so on. As usual, rewards for games well played (in this case a charades speed quiz) will be snacks!

02.03 TRAINEE LOTTERY.
The trainee lottery is an opportunity for one or two lucky trainees (or more, in the future, depending on the number of trainees in the roleplay at any given moment) to participate in the schedule of an idol group under their company. For example, featuring in a cf with one of the groups or a photoshoot with a few of the others, or even releasing a digital single featuring when relevant to upcoming schedules. In order to be considered for the opportunity, they should complete a solo per the prompt outlined below prior to the posting of the next schedule (usually within 2/3 weeks). All lotteries will be random and not based on one’s writing.
LOTTERY 02 - DRAMA CAMEO.
Someone is looking to have a trainee or two for a cameo in their drama. This could be your big chance! Write a solo paragraph that outlines your trainee muse in some way demonstrating their interested in this opportunity, be it through an audition, an acting lesson, or so on. It should follow general solo rules (400+ words with 5/5 points available upon completion) and you may take “creative liberties” with such things as setting, and so on. Assume the drama is nothing particularly huge and the cameo role is something along the lines of a student role or backstage idol on a broadcast (for shows like The Producer or Dream High that had those occasionally) and so on. Show us your desire to be the next big acting star!

MICKEY’S CLUB HOUSE.
This episode block of Mickey's Club House will, of course, feature the usual playful banter between hosts and cast. There will be a special game played, "Guess the Song!" where idols will be expected to race up to the center stage microphone to guess the song, based on a snippet of the choreography, instrumental, or lyrics! The penalty for losing the game is having to wear an animal pajama suit for the next episode- not to mention the microphone will blast your face with air if you get it wrong! At the end of the episode, the cast will perform a special medley of 2018 hits, which they've been tasked with creating themselves, from choosing songs to choreography, a process which will be detailed over the episodes.

TRAINEE WORKSHOPS.
Workshops are the second type of prompt for trainees. These are designed to further their skills in various areas by working with already-debuted idols to get hints, tips, and lessons. This is a process all currently debuted idols have gone through as its common to the Idolize universe training system, and is a great way to encourage trainee-active idol plots! Posts should be completed in the usual 4/4 350+ words to qualify for points, or should be a solo of 500+ words.
1/6 Workshop The first step into the new year for the trainees of our companies are the annual New Year Showcases. This is a progress check and a chance to show off to the trainees from your company. Each company will host their own private showcase. Trainees have been tasked to prepare a song in two parts, covering a senior artist. The first part of the song should stay true to the interpretation of the original artist, demonstrating an understanding of what made that song so successful in the first place. The second part of the song should reinterpret it in a way unique to the trainee in question, and this is left largely up to the trainee to decide: it can range from a re-arrangement, a change to a dance focus, and so on. Trainees are, of course, expected to reach out to the original artist(s) behind the song to work with them to prepare the performance.

TRAINEE TASKS.
Tasks are the first type of prompt in the trainee prompt cycle and consist of various tasks given by the company as one might expect. Preparing performances for evaluations, various types of lessons from etiquette to language to the obvious (singing, dancing, etc) are included in this category. Posts should be completed in the usual 4/4 350+ words to qualify for points, or should be a solo of 500+ words.
LOTTERY WINNER: @idhikari As part of earning the CF deal spot, Hikari will be featured in an upcoming Titanium advertisement for PONY.
12/16 Task. As the formal beginning of the trainee schedule prompt rotation, we’re moving back to the task to start things off, giving trainees the opportunity to prepare for the end of year evaluations. December is a time of planning for the future, of summarizing one’s accomplishments over the past year - so now it is time for your muse to select a song that perfectly exemplifies their growth. Trainees should prepare a solo stage but are encouraged to practice with one another as usual, and have been encouraged to make use of company resources to attend year end stages to support their senior artists, and maybe learn a thing or two from them by attending.

LOTTERY 01 - CF DEAL.
One of your company’s senior groups has landed an endorsement deal for a winter apparel CF. Write a solo paragraph that outlines your trainee muse being provided the chance to audition for this opportunity. It should follow general solo rules (400+ words with 5/5 points available upon completion) and you may take “creative liberties” with such things as setting, apparel involved (but please refrain from naming brands) and so on. For example, if you wanted to imagine it was a ski lodge setting CF with a cute wintery vibe, you could write it as if auditioning for that, and so on. Just give us a taste of your muse presenting their best commercial appeal!
