I know this isn’t an Ichimatsu appreciation post (sorry!) but here’s a lil something I’ve been working on. It was a pretty recent assignment and I liked it enough to share it with the whole world wide web. :P

Why I was inactive and probably won't be much active in near future as well

It's been a while since I last posted on tumblr (except of course for the previous post) and because of that I decided to make a quick update here. Just to clarify some stuff and all. I'm not sure how many of you know, but the reason why I'm so bad at updating and was/am on a hiatus is because I'm a very busy university student. Art university to be more specific, I'm currently in the 5th semester and will do my Bachelor next year. In the past six months I have been working on my very first animation short film and man, I'm still invested into it despite having submitted it to my prof for grading. As of now, I am tweaking it some more so it will be more suitable for film festivals. That's right, I'm going to submit my work to all kinds of festivals and hope for the best! However, because of that it won't be available to the public for a while, one year at minimum and two years at max. Then there's me neglecting another project that *is* dear to me but didn't have the same priority as my animation short. So I'm gonna work on it too, especially because my docent needs it asap so it can get graded haaah.... but I want it to be as perfect as possible so it can join my portfolio as well. Speaking of portfolios, I'm also working on another storyboard for my demo reel. My uni has a mandatory free semester in which we have to either study abroad or get an internship. I would love to work as storyboard artist or editor in *hopefully* Burbank, but I really need to step up my game. So I've been drawing as often as I can and practicing my voice acting. I'll probably end up having to record the dialogue on my phone because I can't be arsed to check out my uni's radio station, it would take me too long to figure that equipment out. The new semester started this week and I selected three projects (highly NOT recommended) because I'm a big dumdum. My prof is very concerned and anyone who hears about my true workload is side-eyeing me haha. But I know I can pull it off because I'm me which means a workaholic who may or may not is a bit insane and has a tendency to forget to eat and take breaks from working. Stupid jokes aside, I wouldn't have made that decision if I didn't know myself and my limits by now. I think that's all for now, man it got much longer than I intended it to. If you have any questions, feel free to send me an ask! Can be Ichimatsu/Osomatsu-san related but also if you have a question about art schools in general. Although I'm going to a German one, I'm sure that the principle is the same worldwide heh. I like to help people and I still remember how intimidated I was by the application process. Hell, I can relate now more than ever because I'm yet again intimidated by application processes that all these studios have. Okay that's it for now! I do not and never will. I'm not into blmatsu, but I know some friends who like it. I just shrug it off lolI *am* glad that nobody shipped me with Ichimatsu while I was cosplaying Karamatsu at a con because of my Ichimatsu phone charm 😅

I know, I'm just a tad paranoid that a lot of other people pre-ordered before me because Ichimatsu is quite a popular character :'D the bonus is limited iirc, but I also ordered it around the 3rd day when the pre-orders opened so I hope I will get them~ And yes, the bonus was just too good to pass up! Normally I wouldn't care, but I loved all of the sticker facial expressions so I just /had/ to get the extra face plates x3 @greeneggiwegs
