Today M and I went to Mothership Coffee Shop for a bit of a caffeine fix. It was soooo good. As soon as we walked in we felt extremely comfortable and welcome thanks to the extremely amiable– and attractive– baristas (ayyyy cute guy with the brow piercing, how you doin? 😜), and they did not hesitate to recommend their favorite items on the menu. We both got the Mocha and an apple, cranberry, and walnut pie. Not only was the coffee amazing, but cute barista guy made a freaking swan out of the foam and REAL MUGS!!! I am an admitted coffee snob and this place is incredible. We will definitely be visiting the Mothership again very soon. See ya later, fellow Foodies! -K
P.S. I forgot to mention that their tip jar also reads “please donate to the alien research fund!” Win. 👽👌🏻

Good morning, Foodies! A few days ago M and I went to Jinya Ramen Bar for a friend’s birthday. Neither of us had any experience with ramen that wasn’t from a microwaveable cup before this, so we were a little skeptical to say the least. We both ended up ordering the Spicy Chicken Ramen with extra noodles (which we didn’t really need in the end, because the food portions are unreal) and wontons. This was nothing like ramen from a microwaveable cup. This was ramen from the ramen gods; ~*~*rEaL RaMeN*~*~!! It was delicious and I feel like everyone in our little squad is so much closer now because there is definitely no polite way to eat ramen. Bottom line: the food was great, the atmosphere was fun, and we all had a wonderful time. We highly recommend eating at Jinya before diving into your next Cup-o-Noodles; it will change your life. Tata for now! -K

G'day! Yesterday hipstereatslv decided to get dressed up and venture out onto the Strip for the evening. We got hungry after like 30 minutes walking around at the Bellagio Botanical Gardens and of course the first thought that came to us was Italian food. We decided on going to Maggiano’s Little Italy at the Fashion Show Mall and vegged out on appetizers. The wait for a table was a little longer than we would have hoped for on a Sunday, but our experience was relatively good. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms as well as the spinach and artichoke dip, and we thoroughly enjoyed all of the food. The mushrooms were probably the best we have had in a while and although the artichoke dip was a little salty, it was still pretty incredible. Our waiter was actually really rad too. He talked to us for a while and was super attentive throughout our. This is definitely a place you should check out if you’re up for some carb-filled, Italian goodness. Talk to ya later, foodies! -K

Hiiiii! Recently M and I visited Container Park downtown and got brunch at a restaurant called Glutton. Oh. My. God. It was AMAZING. Our waitress was hella cool and the food was incredible. They have Duck Fat potatoes that are out of this world. Yeah, that's right: potatoes fried in duck fat 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻. I had the classic breakfast that included eggs, Texas toast, sausage or bacon, and duck fat potatoes or mixed fruit (I ordered both of these). M ordered the Peaches and Cream Waffles and got the potatoes on the side bc like I said they are so freaking good. The whole atmosphere was energetic and refreshing; Glutton is a true hipster restaurant. Between the incredible food, the character, and the cute pudgy tummy logo, we highly recommend eating here if you happen to be in downtown Las Vegas. Until next time, fellow foodies! -K

Last week M and I checked out Snow White Cafe on S. Jones Blvd. and tried their famous Caramel Apple Latte and it was pretty rad! The apple flavoring is a little on the artificial side and kind of reminded us of an apple Jolly Rancher, but over all they weren’t awful. The atmosphere was wonderfully whimsical and the barista was awesome; she was particularly talented in the foam art department! Snow White Cafe is known for their frozen desserts so we plan on visiting again soon to try some of those. All in all, we think Snow White and the dwarfs would approve! -K
