T’ana, standing with her back turned: I’ve been expecting you, Tendi.
Tendi: How did you do that without turning around?
T’ana: ... to be perfectly honest, the first couple of people I did that to were not you.

Hello! Sending an ask because I can’t DM you. I’m sorry to tell you this but there’s a blog that’s been reposting fics from AO3 as their own here on Tumblr and yours is one of them. The blog is ‘dt-17-lover’ and they’ve posted your Foreverglades fic, along with other writers fics.
I think maybe the best thing to do is report them for impersonation? I mean they are pretending to be the writer of your fic so that feels closest, I don’t think it would be considered a copyright issue annoyingly.
Oh, wow. I honestly have no idea how old this ask is because I haven't logged into this account in ages, but I'll look into it and I thank you kindly for the heads-up! I hate plagiarism...

I just started reading All for you and Oh my god i need to know what happens next if your still doing it.
I just logged into this account for the first time in over a year, because life got crazy chaotic and I've just been trying to keep up, so this tumblr kind of fell by the wayside. This made me so happy to see, though, and I'm happy you found my story! The answer is that if my WIPs are still up on my Ao3 page (Audrey_Lynne), I haven't given up on them entirely. If I know truly, deeply, that I'll never touch a story again, I orphan it so someone else can continue it if they're so inclined. But All for You in particular is definitely one I WANT to return to, so thank you for the little reminder that someone but me does care when these stories get left hanging! I probably won't be updating here, because I can't check in consistently (though I'll try!), but feel free to check out Ao3 for updates!

I live!
Sorry to disappear for a while, folks, but I ended up taking an unplanned hiatus due to a bunch of real life stuff. None of it was too terrible, but I had a job that was deeply stressing me out, and I was able to put in notice and transition to a better position. So it's all good now, but things have been busy and they're settling down finally. Don't worry - I haven't left any of my active fandoms, and I'm definitely still working on my fics in progress. Especially since I now have more time off during the week!

THIS IS THE BEST ADDITION!
Scrooge: So, since I'm Webby's father, and you've essentially been her mother all these years, and with all our history...should we get married?
Beakley: Absolutely fucking not.
Scrooge: ...as I expected.
Webby: (scandalized) You cursed!
Goldie: *angry noises in crowd*
Scrooge: Ah, knew that'd draw her out! How're you doin', Goldie-girl?
Goldie: ...wait, you're Webby's what now?

I still feel like I haven’t really given a proper sendoff. Maybe it’s healthy to admit I never will be able to, but I can try…

I agree there - Goldie is Goldie, and she would have likely been operating on a "not my kid, not my problem" mentality...and Scrooge probably would have been talked into it. As much as I enjoyed Foreverglades, I did have a problem with him leaving Webby behind...I understand it narratively, but I was also cheerfully thinking about how Beakley would rightfully kick his ass when she found out.
I know everyone loved the moment Scrooge went all protective dad mode on Webby, but I can’t stop thinking about the fact he deadass ditched Webby in a swamp to go find youth juice with Goldie.
He third wheeled Webby, who had back pain and a swollen eye. Would he have done the same had he known the truth?
Let’s dissect that.

I see your points and they're valid...tbh, I'm not sure if Scrooge would have cheerfully left his kid behind in the Foreverglades, then had an, "Oh, shit" moment and gone back once sense caught up to him. I had a different interpretation of the life vest moment, though...I do need to watch the finale again when initial reactions are past and I can analyze it...but I saw it as him thinking "wait how do I dad" and he defaulted to things he'd seen Donald do. Granted, the boys were still left out, but that's just my $.02 worth on that bit.

Saying this one time.
Tag your vent posts. Tag your discourse. Tag anything you have a problem with.
I don’t want to see it, and if you don’t tag that shit I’m blocking you. Not sorry.
Let people who enjoyed the ending be happy, and not flood the tags with posts that could’ve been avoided. You have your opinions, that’s fine, but frankly I’d rather keep all the hate and pessimistic comments away from this blog and anyone else who doesn’t want to see it.
Thanks

My pet theory of the moment is that Black Heron hadn't perfected cloning juuuust yet, so rather than making a full clone, she literally created the heir with perhaps a cloned (blank) egg and Scrooge as the paternal DNA. Which means Webby would have a biological mother...leaving a lot of fun possibilities open for who that donor might be, anyone from a completely random anonymous duck to someone significant.
Can somebody who understands how cloning actually works tell me what kind of relation Webby has with Scrooge?
Wouldn’t that make Webby Scrooge’s identical twin or something?
I need someone to lay down the facts to me.
Because we know Webby and Scrooge share genetic similarities and she was a by product of a cloning this actually means…
blankity blankity blank

Thoughts on the finale to come later...this post is spoiler-safe...but, dang, 11pm-12am was the longest hour ever. Xfinity was like, "Yes, you get it at midnight, but in your time zone. No peeksies!"
Initial reaction: There were a few things I would have done differently and, yeah, parts that weren't my favorite, but overall I thought it was a solid conclusion with a ton of great moments. And my main fic-verse has become exactly as AU as I thought it would be, but not in the ways I predicted.

Part of me has been concerned, considering that some factions of the fandom have been preparing to hate the finale for a couple weeks now. But then I reminded myself that they can't steal my joy, no matter what they think. If I'm disappointed by it, so be it, but if I love it, then great. Will I have fix-it ideas? Considering I'm writing a fix-it for a series I stopped watching in 1995, probably...
None of my regular crew have been hating just to hate; their criticisms have been legitimate, even if my opinion was different (and sometimes I've agreed!). But, while I don't understand it, there are those in fandom who do hate on things just for the sake of doing so. Don't let them get you down, either. It's easy, especially if you have rejection-sensitive issues, but don't feel like you have to let other people dictate your fandom experience.
