Jin Zixuan when he was little he actually wanted brothers because been the single child in that big house felt lonely.

Later in life he star thinking that he don't need them because he have his cousins around and people all the time try to be around him. Much later he realized that the people always around are just for his father money and status and he remember the thought of how life will be if he hated brothers.

At one point in life he received them but he was to stuff up in the Jin mentally and in the moment he got out of it was to late.

But the fact ist that he want them, he want that connection that he saw at the Lan's the loyalty of Nie's and the pure protectiveness of the Jiang's. He really wanted to understand A-Li after there married and she taught about her brothers and he wanted that type of family.

He end up to late to save his.

And after him all the other pers of siblings were to late to.

Post canon by some miracle Wei Wuxian recover his ghost lady's and there favourite activities are to embarrass Wei Wuxian about memory's that he don't remember from the his first life ( especially him becoming drunk and talk constantly about Lan Wangji) and commenting about Wangxian love while there are sappy and Wei Wuxian just dead glance them.

Headcanon #1

Lan Wangji after the war didn’t sleep or at list didn’t do it as the Lan routine was probably because of the trauma and all the random moments when they need to be in the battle or because he thinks of how to help Wei Wuxian so I think it took him a long time to be again in the 9-5 schedule off sleep. And because of that he probably didn't eat to much either so imagine Jin Zixuan and Mian Mian staying with him in a day as they do after the war straighten the friendship and Lan Wangji just faint. Be sure he didn’t reserve so much scrolling in his life more then from Mian Mian while Jin Zixuan commanded every type of food without meat to make the brat bunny eat.

I said that I will make a post of how do I thing Wen Ruohan in my opinion is the very dark version on Wei Wuxian and that because of Jin Guangyao. Bear with me.

After I see a lot of discussion about Jin Guangyao and study a little more his character though the media's that we have and realised two thinks:

First Jin Guangyao took the ideas that Wen Ruohan have with the watching towers and make them actually accepted but we know from Wei Wuxian’s descriptions though the book that even then they are actually everywhere still people deal with struggles.

And second the story of mdzs in very much having Jin Guangyao as a main character too. Hear me out. Outside of every character that is close to Wei Wuxian and it will be logic to have there stories, we have almost all the details of Jin Guangyao’s life, to how he grow to how he end up in Jin's. We as readers don't know much about Lan Wangji how is the love interest ( and the thinks that Lan Xichen said to Wei Wuxian didn't count ) but we know almost everything from Jin Guangyao enough that dear to say if the storie was in his perspective we will all tought at him as a misunderstood and tragic character.

Like just look a little both Wei Wuxian and Jin Guangyao have similar backgrounds and similar traits diferent just by there moral compass and staying like that and think make me question what if Wen Ruohan has the same. A very out of the book mind how fall from genius to madness especially because after Jin Guangyao come in Jin's after been a spy and the war ended he was much easy doing everything to achieve his goals that before and what if Wen Ruohan spark that.

And that come to my point with him been the very dark version of Wei Wuxian because even a little we have a glimpse of how far he will go in his Yiling Laozu period and even though he hate what he did if we take the confession that Jin Guangyao have before he died so does he ( of course if we can believe anything he say ). And if we think after the idea no one want to be a villain probably Wen Ruohan to. ( I could not granty )

But all of that analysis brings me more to the fact that MXTX really in all her story didn't put one single easy to understand character and is so annoying but beautiful in the same time, and don't get me rough I don't make this because I like or I approve anything that Jin Guangyao and Wen Ruohan did, is just fascinating how we have so much difrent taste of the main character if he actually go to a bad path ,but as we know Wei Wuxian is impossible to do that and I glad because just imagining the story like that give me chills.

I have a very serious question and thought that I come to think to much.

Are the mdzs characters immune of poisen?

Like Xichen created a entire process of diluted alcohol to not affect him. So it it works like that with poisen to ? Or afrodisiac ?

Like I know that you would need a very high cultivation to do it. But you can ?

Like not one lady in that world didn't try to drug one of the most beautiful man's not even once? Jin Guangshan didn't tried it at list once ?

I could understand Lan Wangji’s immunity been all the time soaked in sandalwood , but the rest ?

So for a very much part of the parent in mdzs we don’t have name’s ( just for the very important ones and not even all ) and how you would see on my page i work an a fanfiction in modern days with all the characters and as a sequel would be the parent story and by that mean i will put here all the connections and names that they have in my story

Jiang Fengmian and Wei Changze ar stil knowing each other from childhood and they are partners in the Jiang industry ( Wei Changze having sides jokes to been an instructor for extreme sports )

Yu Ziyuan is the daughter of a very influent family how work in equestrian industry but they are not doing so well in the market because the Nie’s just bought half of the grounds that was on sale not far from them and started there one equestrian school and like that they and up selling there firm to the Jiang’s how wanted to open a new affiliation on market and because the Yu didn’t wanted for there name to be just erase completely they marry Yu Ziyuan with Jiang Fengmian (yes even in this one i make them arrange marriage, is good foe drama you would see ). Yu Ziyuan hate the arrangement but she do it because of dotty but what she hate the most is that like this could not be with her lover.

Wen Zhuliu or Zhao Liu was one of the instructors at the Yu equestrian school leaving just with his uncle after his parent died he loved horses more that anything and he got up with Yu Ziyuan and they have a very strong connection but he refuse to go forward because of there status one thing that Yu Ziyuan didn’t care but didn’t fight for it either. So after he find out that she is going to marry and that the school is selling he disappeared and years later he appears again on media but this time by the side of Wen Ruohan as his right hand and tabloid like to create a very dramatic story all the time him and Yu Ziyuan appear.

Wen Ruohan i cover in an other post much more detailed but he is the second of the family how become heir after his older brother died he have a sister that he love more then the earth and he have a secret organisation that is on the dark market but works with the polite to catching bad guys but he is very morally grey ( he is not the bad guy in this story but he will do some questionable thighs )

Wen Rumei is the beautiful loved sister how is younger but not with much is a very opposite person that her brother and usually don’t interfere that much in the family business because her father disagrees so she is working on her degrees on literature and marketing because even if her father don’t want her in the picture her brother do and she knows that in the moment Wen Ruohan take the chair he want her as her right hand they make that plane from childhood. But mean time have a second degree just to lie to her father though she start liking it and think more of her future choices and she share classes with Lan Qiren.

Wen Yuanfeng ( the future father of Wen Ning and Wen Qing ) is there second line cousin but the best friend of the two siblings he is shy and very clumsy outside but a brilliant mind and a good judge of character how work great in numbers and stocks having millions at the age of 23 but he actually don’t talk about that at all the single thing that he want is to help his parent and aunt and uncles to work at the Dafan restaurant whatever much there want and don’t be worry about money. He and Ruohan help then in full days as waiters and is hilarious to see this to there. He knows about the secret organisation and help when it come to hi-tech work. And his firsts interactions with his future wife don’t go well at all.

Ruan Meiyin (the future mother of Wen Ning and Wen Qing ) and the sister of Ruan Yuelin ( madam Lan or the future mother of Lan Xichen and Lan Wangji, yes i made them sisters ) is the youngest and is in college at the botanical profile wanting to become an researcher on the plant and living organism and study them plus creating her own perfume and health live on meds. She and her sister live alone and don’t have a good relationship with there parent and by that don’t have there support so both need to work in order to keep there house and colleges. So she end up working for the Dafan restaurant after a lot of research and discovering that is a family business that have a flexible program in that way she still could attend school. She end up loving the place but have a very bad impression on the two heirs that come in the restaurant at the beginning because of Wen Ruohan but later she realised that Wen Yuanfeng is not the same and actually pretty funny with his clumsiness and even Wen Ruohan is not that bad after you meet him.

Ruan Yuelin ( the future mother of Lan Xichen and Lan Wangji) is on her master in pedagogy, live with her sister and love children’s that is why the degree. She end up as a substitute teacher at the Lan University and she love it but could agree that the rules are a little to much even for a hight class school so she do her corses is her stile and have some problems because of that but she could not be cast-off because of her students scores and maybe and up in some altercations with the second Jade and that make the first Jade coming in and see what the problem.

Lan Zhengyi ( the future father of Lan Xichen and Lan Wangji ) the first Jade and the best lower in the country he take the family business as carrier in the mean time his brother taking teaching. Both will inherit one of the parts of the family business Lan Qiren the university’s, Lan Zhengyi the law industry. He is passionate of music and knows 33 instruments have a very good eye on hard cases and didn’t lost one from the fourth year as a lower. He is present at any public gathering and the image of the family, plays polo and is thought to be the first most handsome bachelor, he will not know if he is asked. But he feel life to mechanic probably because he live by the family rules all his life or the expectation but he really don’t know how to spark something in his life and it feels that he is the single one having the problem because if you look close his little brother is not a little bothered. And in the day he is called to stop a mad teacher by a very angry Lan Qiren his life really take a turn.

Lan Qiren a university literature student how is expected to be the future great director of the most elevated schools on the country,the example of perfection and the most Lan ever he live by the family principles and go in coordination with them without a flinch to the days that he meets the most annoying and shameless woman’s he will have the unluck to meet. The first is his mistake because he accepted a private pottery student that don’t go well with people around and he correlated so he accepted, the kid is great ( Xiao Xingchen) but her sister is the pain of Lan Qiren’s day (Cangse Sanren ) and then he have the unluck to meet a new substitute teacher in his future school that disgraced all the family rules (Ruan Yuelin) and the heir of the Wen family find a pleasure of annoying him every time they meet , why the goods hate him.

Cangse Sanren a freelance artist that is in charge of the house and her little brother after her adoptive mother past away. She take the custody of little Xiao Xingchen and drop her study to take care of him and give him a better life not wanting to give him in the placement again. So she work as a paid artist and is actually very good been known in the entire city by her murals and work so she don’t struggle as much with money compèring with the first years. And somehow because of her friend and the pottery teacher of her brother end up in a very hight up social group, don’t ask her how.

Hong Qianhui ( the future mother of Nie Huaisang ) the best friend of Cangse Sanren how is a freelance artist to but coming from a good family. She have a personal private island that is completely at her will and where she started a little resort that give her extra money just in case. She make all the party’s and is a say in there group that at list every time they go there one of the couples that didn’t confess yet will, and it happens every time. All the young adults go to the island when they need space end a quiet and free place because she knows, she always do ( just you don’t believe Huaisang take his talent from there father ).

Wang Yushuang (the future mother of Nie Mingjiue ) she the daughter of one of the associates of the Nie industry but don’t have anything to do with the corporation world actually she is an martial art first medal winner and a “runaway “ heir that live on her bus and don’t stop to the point that win how much medals she wants ,and she does, and then she come home. And she don’t like it. But her parents don’t let her run again because the firm needs her been the single child so block here she start to find new things and end up in Meng Shi dance studio.

Nie Rongzhen ( the future father of Nie Mingjiue and Nie Huaisang) the heir of the Nie family, the best friend of Lan Zhengyi and Wen Ruohan. The single one in this group how actually is responsible and swears to all he have that will kill Jin Guangshan one day.

Jin Guangshan (i feel like I don’t need to say anything here whatever universe i could not make this man dissent)

Bai Longsu ( the future mother of Jin Zixuan) the best friend of Yu Ziyuan and a very good horse rider blocked in an arrange marriage and trying her best to avoid it and angry at her friend that accepted that easily. But eventually is happened and she start losing her spark because of scandals and media that her husband do.

Meng Shi ( the future mother of Meng Yao ) an ballerina that have so much potential in the industry do to her incredible talent and starting her own studio where she meet beautiful people and her friend Wang Yushuang starting to have a group of goo friend but because of a horrible man that good time disappears like dust.

Huang Lianyi ( the future mother of Qin Su) is a secretary at the Qin branch of Jin industry under the Qin manager, she is the daughter of a important investor of Lanling Tai but she work for her place in the company immediately after she absolved college and is happy of her job, feels every day that could find true love with Mr. Qin and wish life to remain the same. But the company change her leader the Jin heir take it and that make her life horrible.

Mo Xinyi (the future mother of Mo Xuanyu ) a new student and stagier at the Jin industry with a light and ideas that can change the market ( but I guess all new what happens)

Al right that was a lot to write and I feel a repeat to much about what Jin Guangshan will do to that poor woman’s but i want to clarify that the grape still happens and could not be avoided because the kids are already in the story and this is just the past. Would be happy moment to and this ones would have at list one or two good groups moment before the disaster but for new i will give updates when it will start.

Let say that in some miracle Jiang Yanli, Jin Zixuan and Wen Qing are brought back to life and after some heartbroking reunions the juniors star to put questions to the new members of the family and Jin Ling realised that his Dajiu didn't lie about his father.

Jin Ling: So you explicitly tell A-niang that you don't want her in the night hunt and five minutes later you scream out that YOU make your mother to come with YOU.

Jin Zixuan: Yes... that what happened.

I fell like one of the most heart broking thing in mdzs it is the moment Jin Ling stars to acknowledge Wei Wuxian as his uncle and I love to the shy and back that that canon.

But I just start to stay working some scene if really Lan Wangji, Jin Zixuan and Mian Mian were friends (that my obsession itt sty going ) and I invision a scene where Jin Ling hear that the daughter of Mian Mian (Mian Mian is back in the Jin's somehow) caling Lan Wangji , Dajiu and after that Jin Ling go and talk to Wangji about that asking if he was to fried with his father and that go to a discussion in the garden about how how Lan Wangji, Jin Zixuan and Mian Mian become friends and how much crazy Zixuan's confessions was that got close to Wei Wuxian’s, and after that Jin Ling asking if he can name Lan Wangji Dabo how blokes both but after Wangji start to explain that he technically was not Zixuan biological brother exactly like Wei Wuxian wasn't Jiang Yanli's and that he doesn't what to by made a difference between them just because status or a central judgment. And that stat's an entire confession of Jin Ling expressing that he doesn't fell worthy of naming Wei Wuxian DaJiu after he hurt and hate him for so long and he was one of the single persons that show Jin Ling's full care and love to the moment that they meet and he apologise for something so little. But from there Wangji hug Jin Ling letting him cry and telling him how Wei Wuxian doesn't hate him and resent anything that happend and he will always have that big stupidity beautiful heart of his that will forgive anything and just love people that matters to him to the end, and if he want to show that his sorry just letting him knowing that is actually seen like family is anything for him. And just imagine after that they go back in Koi Tower and Wei Wuxian greeted them explaining how much he search for them and Jin Ling go running in his arms calling him Dajiu the first time and Wei Wuxian blocks he doesn't know anything anymore he hug the kid in his arms looks at his husband how smile softly and cry of joy.

I actually cried thinking of this and tomorrow I want to put it in words but gooddd this break my heart. I love been in this fandom.

I have a question whats the opinion about Madam Yu and Wen Zhuliu having a sorts of relationship or at least knowing each other from before everything, in the fandom.

Like it obvious that they have respect for one another and Yu Ziyuan said that he change his name is every adaptation but what exactly do you guys think about them meeting look like.

I have a fan made for them that I use in the modern series that I work on and that I use un a Lan Qiren back in time fic to and it sounds like that.

What if Wen Zhuliu was part of the Yu sect or at list a member that was connected with them and like that Yu Ziyuan and him start to know each other and probably going in the night hunt or train together, because if we look closely in every visual adaptation Wen Zhuliu know exactly how she attacks and catches or avoids Zidian perfectly (and I know that every skilld cultivator supposed to be aware of an attack but immediately after that they have that conversation so it odd). And there stars my theory what if they were more that simple friends , what if the reason why Wen Zhuliu was not known foe some years was because he actually doesn't want to be find or he try to go far from someone, what if a part of the anger that Yu Ziyuan have towards Jiang Fengmian cheating is not just the idea but by the fact that him doing that didn't affects him publicly but her and an top she needed to lost someone precious because if she have an extra relationship it would look bad more.

Like for me it wired that a cultivator with the capacity of Wen Zhuliu was not been heard of at all just like a rumour for years and that Yu Ziyuan who doesn't love Jiang Fengmian just have a grunge over a child just because of pride.

-knows everything about all the juniors enough to stay close all the night hunts but let them space to grow

I what to know what we as a fandom think about Wen Ruohan. Seriously speaking because I try to add him in the modern fanfic that I do and I don't want to make him the villain.

Hear me out as a character we don't know much about him if we take the novel ( I didn't watch Untamed and it will take a will to the point that I do ) and by he original we really don't know almost anything that just he want to control the world and that he can be very cunning. But as we always know in mdzs every character have a back story that lead them to that point so that my take to Wen Ruohan to. ( probably is the fact that I read to much Lan Qiren/Wen Ruohan what start like a joke because I wanted to laugh at the idea that Qiren could in a alternative univers to have what he disagree the most but after a lot of angst with this to and a beautiful Qiren back in time au where he and up with Wen Ruohan and everyone live I start to change my opinion mainly because I love that idea that Qiren could look at Wei Wuxian and disapprov him and Lan Wangji and Wen Ruohan to appear and say that he have same tastes , shoot me if you want but it hilarious)

And by that I stay and thought more of how my modern version of Wen Ruohan could be and I end up like this.

To be the second in his lineage NOT THE FIRTS (that important) and to not care very much to the entire part of the business but life doesn't like him and his older brother died in an accident so guess how come to the leader chair. He have an younger sister how he love so much that will do everything for her (like his Jiang Yanli) and they have an actual close relationship. He have a secret organisation how work in the black market but to catch bad guys (in questionable maner but he give it to the police) and he is not completely bad but moraly grey, very grey , and somehow it works but his father is the pure reason he is an arrogantly asshole and Jin Guangshan how is not a friend but is very good at manipulation.

And that my modern Wen Ruohan. I don't know if he is out of character but staying more to analyse him somehow ( don't kill me ) reminded of a very dark version of Wei Wuxian but how actually go to the dark side ( I will make a diferent poste with this )

Recently I stay to much in this fandom in the scale that I made a semi concep of an modern au with all the parent of the characters that we know but not with them as parent more like young adults before meeting all.

And i make this promt with Cangse Sanren to be adopted by Baoshan Sanren and in the moment Cangse Sanren have 18 or so to be adopted in the family Xiao Xingchen at the age of 3 (I know that canon he is young that Wei Wuxian but is an au ) and for that moment on Cangse take the role of a big sister very seriously and try anything from her little brother to have a beautiful childhood. It just a problem little Xiao Xingchen is not very sociable beside the neighbour Song Lan he doesn't like to much to talk or interact with people and ever with him is hard and he is used to bottle up.

So by that mean Cangse start searching for ways of making him a little more open and after a lot of starts and errors she realised that her little brother at the age of 6 begin to have a curiosity for a pottery wheel that stay in there home and is not used anymore because there mothers don't have time and Cangse didn't use it often. But after she see the interest of her brother towards that it begins a search for a teacher to by ok coming to there home and maybe making Xingchen want to go to a proper studio and meet people one day.

And with that she find Lan Qiren how is a student in his master in literature but have a little pottery shop and he give lessons in the free time.

That great she write an email to him and explains everything and he confirmed that if they have a wheel he can come over so they made an appointment and even though the firsts lessons were clumsy and awkward Lan Qiren really is a good teacher and opend up Xingchen.

The problem of the hours spent together is that Lan Qiren don't suffer Cangse Sanren and she love to tease him and like that they end up in a constant cat and mouse relationship where one try to make one find some shame and the other how try to make the one to be more relaxed and that amused so much Xiao Xingchen (and Song Lan when he come to visit and bouth are there fight again about how Cangse didn't store the clay properly and Qiren how doesn't know technology works and make the fairy light from the room break again)

The truth is that both Start to see the other like an annoying sibling and however much Qiren hate it he really feel more free in there house that in his

This is an idea for the first story that is connected to my story about all the characters taking revenge over Jin Guangshan. This is how the parent in that modern au got together and we have Wei Wuxian, Lan Wangji, Jiang Yanli, Jiang Cheng, etc .

I thought a lot of them am I made the mood board that I say a will post with everyone aesthetic (I am working at the Nies and Wens for the moment and I do everyone the parent and children's that is taking though I finish the Jiang, Wei's and Jin's but la Jin's I have left all the mothers because, yes I will include all )

So by that this little idea come when I made Xiao Xingchen's board and I didn't know what I want him to be and then it click, pottery maker, ( probably because my fyp is full of it sorry, but it perfect for him especially because Cangse is an artist student so are family of artists, just wait for Wei Ying) but coming back to the subject making the bord I realised that I put a picture with pottery in Lan Qiren's board and then the ideas flow and I end here and thought "Why not Qiren and Cangse meet outside of the others and Qiren is the one to introduce her to Wei Changze and Jiang Fengmian" .

And here we are. The idea of this story is to come after the one with revenge and it will be like coming back in time to see how they end up like that and why there child have that relationship.

I really will post here probably all the construction of this fanfiction at this point, is the longest idea that I have for a while after the royal au ( but that one is more focused on the Jin's this one have everyone) and I really want to document it one by one to see the progress of the work and not loose my ideas. And for everyone how is hard to start projects try making a blog more for you than everyone it helps. So just try it ( is telling you a person how procrastinate all day because scared of starting and i do it) you can.

So after I just read the new chapter from the manga that come yesterday and was completely nuts because that my favorit scene ever just because of the complexity that is shown and the line underneath that represents( I think I will make an entire post about that scena ) but I what to complete something that it making with my post Jiang Cheng in that scene explain the fact that Lan Wangji didn't care for others juniors then the Lans and I really stay a little and though if is because is true or Jiang Cheng say it out of spite and it more the second one and that is because immediately after that Lan Wangji address to Jin Ling to take care hunting (probably because of the coment that Jiang Cheng made to Jin Ling to catch something).

And that my prof that yes Lan Wangji cared for all the juniors and that included Jin Ling and not just for Wei Wuxian

One of my favourite things about mdzs is the fact that we have juniors. Idk but I just love when we have a relationship child/parent figure in books is making all the story so much emotional in a way that make my heart melt and hurt in the same time. And in mdzs we have a lot of them.

But what I like the most are the juniors that we have after Wei Wuxian is board back to life (I like the period when the main character are juniors to but the quartet hits diferent)

Like the angst and heart warming moment between the characters and juniors is almost to much. And I swear I don't cry to much at books or movie but Jin Ling and his uncles, your honor it me.

Though a thing that I feel about is not talk enough is the relationship between Lan Wangji and the juniors.

I know all we love Wei Wuxian with them or Wen Ning with them or Lan Xichen with them or Jiang Cheng with them been the somehow uncle to all because Wei Wuxian adopt them all and he will not let the bar low been a good uncle even though he refuse to admit that he forgive his brother ( you can not tell me that after some 10 or so years after the temple he doesn't try to catch back the fact that Lan Wangji hide that he have another nephew, Jiang Cheng have some spoiling to do )

One of my favourite things about mdzs is the fact that we have juniors. Idk but I just love when we have a relationship child/parent figure in books is making all the story so much emotional in a way that make my heart melt and hurt in the same time. And in mdzs we have a lot of them.

But what I like the most are the juniors that we have after Wei Wuxian is board back to life (I like the period when the main character are juniors to but the quartet hits diferent)

Like the angst and heart warming moment between the characters and juniors is almost to much. And I swear I don't cry to much at books or movie but Jin Ling and his uncles, your honor it me.

Though a thing that I feel about is not talk enough is the relationship between Lan Wangji and the juniors.

I know all we love Wei Wuxian with them or Wen Ning with them or Lan Xichen with them or Jiang Cheng with them been the somehow uncle to all because Wei Wuxian adopt them all and he will not let the bar low been a good uncle even though he refuse to admit that he forgive his brother ( you can not tell me that after some 10 or so years after the temple he doesn't try to catch back the fact that Lan Wangji hide that he have another nephew, Jiang Cheng have some spoiling to do )
