About the post that I made with Jin Zixuan, Mian Mian and Lan Wangji friendship I stayed and think to share more of the pers off friends that I like and I don’t see as much as the canon and most popular however they have potential if you think of an alternative universe. And one of them is all the Jin siblings and Xue Yang, hear me out. I know that all there story is fucked in the book because of Jin Guangyao’s jealousy but we talk about alternative versions and a thing that I love about mdzs is the endless possibilities to remake the story depending of methods that we choose to take ( I love fix it, shot me ). And one of the things that I hate the most is how all the Jin siblings and even Xue Yang wanted the most in life a family and to belong and that broke me when I did a deep analysis of all ( and that come from some one that the first time they see the story laugh at Jin Guangyao and Xue Yang death clapping Wei Wuxian and Nie Huaisang, what can I say I eat my word like Wei Ying ). So after hating myself for the fact that I love again a villain and a psychopath I put myself down and come with a universe where all the Jin siblings and Xue Yang became a family and put down Jin Guangshan (it really show how much I hate him ?)

Coming to the fic is a royalty au (I just what them to be fancy and called your highness, plus I just see in that period again The apothecary dairy and just have the thought Jin would be perfect in this setting and it starts) so the story is base of the fact that Jin Guangshan brought all his bastards to the palace to show what a mighty and helpful soul he is that after his queen refused to let him have a harem (Madam Jin have a lot off political power from her family and that would show bad on him, I know that technically he is a king and could do whatever he wants but in this universe harems ar a practise that have been banned and is was humiliating to do it and because his wife was a very high app noble daughter it would show even worse). So Jin Guangyao come to the castle still at the age of 15 or so and he is treated like the original one because to be real the difference is that he is not push down the stairs butt it not treated like a prince either in much more Jin Guangshan personal servant and after that two years later Mo Xuanyu at the age of 9 is bought to the palace to and him is not very welcomed either. The idea is Jin Zixuan didn’t have a reaction to them to big he is realised that have brothers and is neutral about that but is mad in his mother’s name to Jin Guangshan ( in this alternative Zixuan is much aware of his mother struggles with his father and the things that his father lack in so he stars easy to dislike him not to hate him deeply but to not want to engage in his ways. And he detach more from him having Mian Mian and Wangji as friends and wake him up, yes I would take every possibility to make them friends). The idea with the three Jin brothers is that they don’t meet much Zixuan more been in night hunts that home, Guangyao more with there father and work in the palace and Xuanyu staying in his rooms majority off time they don’t talk much and know almost nothing of the other. But that change when in a day in the palace been full of nobles Qin Su walk the corridors to find her mother how was lost and thought that after could find Jin Guangyao her fiance ( is not incest I swear is just for the plot to show how bad Jin Guangshan is ) but she hear a conversation that sake her life Jin Guangshan and her mother talk about her being the sister of Jin Guangyao and she is in despair and run far away from that but she bumped in the Jin Guangyao and Jin Zixuan and she tells them and for that moment a lot of things happened and the Jin siblings stars to try to be siblings, of course is all the problems with the Wens as the second plot and all the characters have parts in the story but majority I make the drafts for the Jin siblings plot line. And the introduction in this royalties univers , all the four major sects are kingdoms and the little clans ar still considered clans, in somethings weird with the Wens and random queens and kings ar dyeing letting young rules to the thone. Is Jiang siblings power moment but the parents still die the same for twin jades and Nie Mingjiue and Nie Huaisang. I what to know what ideas I could add more or if I am not the single one how things that Jin siblings and Xue Yang as a team could be fire, and if you like the idea off royal dinamic mdzs is a fantasy royal invented be me with things from real monarchy but rolled and adopted for this setting. I think I will post the draft for every kingdom presentation and tell me where you want to live in after I finish it. I stay the last day dying of laughter thinking of this two interacting post canon and in the 13 years grap (I will make a post whit it ) but post canon they will completely be like "I want to kill you but we have this idiot who we bouth love and we don’t want hin sad anymore so I will let you live butt you better not hurt him ". I know that this friendship is known in the fandom but not as much and I feel the need to make it an obsession for much more people then just myself. BUT I could not be the single one who after watching and reading majority of the mdzs adaptations didn’t stop to the scene where Lan Wangji and Jin Zixuan protect Mian Mian in the cave in face of Wen Chao. Like the way Wangji and Zixuan (who we all know is not the great at that time ) ar so coordinated and stepping by the other one side so natural and Mian Mian who know to run in coordination with them is just perfect. And keeping in mind that in the book they just Mian Mian there like Zixuan and Wangji have some time in Cloud Recesses class period to catch the other one style buf hardly probably because of there personalities to spend time in the proximity of one another, so that moment is pure improvizer and is perfect ( i know Wei Wuxian help to but that after this moment). And now comming to my point this three (Mian Mian, Jin Zixuan and Lan Wangji) would make a great friendship grup al most like Nie Huaisang, Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian. But just imagine the way Zixuan would want to thanks Wangji for helping him and standing with him in the cave and Mian Mian wanting to do the same but all three ar awkward because they could not take thank and stare at each other to the point that Mian Mian is angry at there stupidity and chose to be the great man and drag bouth boys to town to take them tanghulu as thanks (this could happend when Wangji come back to Gusu after he and Wei Wuxian ar releease from the cave in the moment the Yummeng Jiang is attacked and the war didn’t start yet) and to that hole walk to market and buying the sweets this three become more calm around each other and they remained like that and so many moments and events could be change if they are friends and imagine the teasing Mian Mian would not let them live with there stupidity love showing. And Zixuan would be so scold after the soup incidente and Wangji would punished him in Wei Ying's name and Mian Mian would laugh so much after what bouth did in the crowds hunt. And them as friends just work, Idk Wangji respecte womans a lot and Mian Miam probably would make him feel safe after he make sure she doesn’t like Wei Ying but after that he would like to have a woman around and probably it make him remind of his mother and the confort of her and Zixuan would become much faster a proper human with two normal and real friends who actually like him not money and would corect him when needed and Miam Miam I feel that she would like the thought to have someone in her back, I know she is badass and doesn’t need it but is still a men dominance world and having to of the youth masters of two grand sects by your side it insane, like imagine the envy , the glares especially if they act natural around each other in public "The second jade really let that woman laught at him what atrocity is this. ". Idk if is just me butt Iove them together and a miss for me in the series and in fandom is that we don’t putt them more in light is a miss like Wangji having friends, wonderfull, Zixuan being eronized, perfection, more Mian Mian, heaven. Especially in modern setting this three is something else.

So I feel that all agree that Jin family in a modern setting would be that type of rich family aesthetic that we read in billionaires romance but how would be the dark academia, old style house tip castle family ? It couldn’t be Lan because of their light palette and personalities, Jiang’s give to much Florida or tropical Island vibe. So the real question is Nie or Wen would be the dark castle owners ?

I realized after a revision last year asking myself what kinds of books I like in terms of tropes I realized that most of my hyperfixations are generally stories set in a historical period but which have a lot of fan fiction with the characters in the era modern. All the possibilities to change their dynamic and take over the personalities in a more social setting, plus the thought of what the favorite music would be or what coffee and order from Starbucks is my complete obsession recently.

And I live it the most with mdzs like the countless options:

-Business world with all the clans being business and maybe a plot that later brings them all together and takes down Jin Guangshan and Wen Ruohan.

-Or the Jin brothers finally having a setting to co-exist in (I love them all too much and want them to be happy taking down their stupid father, though not in canon as much as I like the idea of ​​them really being siblings, JGY deserves to die at the end )

-all options for Wangxian and the encounters between them.

-The idea of ​​having JY Baker and owning a business only to have JC and WWX after being a disaster in the kitchen but helping his sister.

- The idea of ​​having the characters have small businesses together like decorations events or ONGs and every event is chaos because JZ and WWX can't agree on anything. Or the underworld trope where every clan is a mafia and we have tension and missions and galas full of plots or games of chance.

So I am the single one who thinks that or the Cloud Recesses at that time ( when Wei Wuxian’s parent ar stil alive ) did not have a gender separation rule for students coming in the academic year except for dormitories but classes were held together (like how did Lan Qiren meet Cangse Sanren other way to despise her so much) but like after Cangse Sanren was kicked out of Cloud Recesses, Lan Qiren filed a request for the two genders to be completely separated so that he could arrange different periods for students to come to Gusu. Qiren did it only so that he would never have to meet such a crazy woman again, his mistake is that he didn’t think she would had a son later.
