[A]s in Ecce Homo, one always wonders whether and when Nietzsche is playing it straight or being ironic.  Concerning resistance to paraphrase as a feature of Nietzsche’s writing, the third characteristic of his style which cannot be divorced from the thought it expresses, there are two senses in which this characterisation applies… [T]he relationship which holds between Nietzsche’s philosophising, on the one hand, and an account of that philosophy, on the other, is rather like the relationship which holds between a great novel and its plot summary; one learns everything and nothing from it.

rl’s Abstract: This paper describes, analyzes, and critiques the construction of separate ‘‘male’’ and ‘‘female’’ genomes  in  current  human  genome  research.  Comparative genomic  work  on  human  sex  differences  conceives  of  the  sexes  as  like  different species, with different genomes. I argue that this construct is empirically unsound, distortive to research, and ethically questionable. I propose a conceptual model of biological  sex  that  clarifies  the  distinction  between  species  and  sexes  as  genetic classes. The dynamic interdependence of the sexes makes them ‘‘dyadic kinds’’ that are not like species, which are ‘‘individual kinds.’’ The concept of sex as a ‘‘dyadic kind’’  may  be  fruitful  as  a  remedy  to  the  tendency  to  conceive  of  the  sexes  as distinct, binary classes in biological research on sex more generally.

This 2014 article on the American MRA site ‘Return of Kings’ lists the supposed attributes of cats and dogs that make them like women and men respectively, many in direct opposition. The feline-feminine is described as: Beautiful Manipulative Deceitful Opportunistic Useless Enslaving Cruel Parasitic Nacissistic Seductive Disloyal Undeserving Mercenary The canine-masculine is described as: Honourable Loyal Intelligent Useful Brave Self-sacrificing Ignored Trusting Sensitive Honest Responsible Patient Slave-like Chasing While canine honour and loyalty is described as “the essence of true masculinity”, the list concludes with the claim that the modern world’s “programming” and “reversal of gender roles” has changed this natural state Among the over 300 comments the article has accrued, one by ‘FuriousFerret’ claims the article is wrong, and that women are attracted to cats because they are “alpha” (dominant) and dogs are “the ultimate beta” (submissive).

In 2016 the Tumblr blog ‘What-the-heck-gender-am-i?’ began listing an astonishing number of gender categories, posted from a right wing Christian AFAB transmasculine identity. The final post in September 2017 seems to be in response to calls to take the blog down, and lists an unusual set of provocative statements on subjects including: nazi trolling, aniti-white racism, 9/11, antifa and the alt left, national socialists not being racist, freedom of speech...

This meme was started to mock Tumblr’s 2015 decision to list over 100 gender classifications. In response, gender nonconforming Tumblr users began to share all sorts of images to abstractly represent their gender. https://www.vocativ.com/337791/how-mayonnaise-became-a-gender/index.html

A new (September 2018) anti-trans Twitter account is gaining notoriety in trans networks for its Nazi stylistics. Unclear whether this is a parody account or sockpuppet, this account has a perfection that characterises the post-irony condition. The use of “degenerates“ is characteristic.
