Warning of suspected election tampering
Here is a very detailed letter by a technology expert that there are "multiple and extremely clear indications the Presidential vote was willfully compromised."
Read it on Substack.
I've wondered about this since the morning after the election.
What happened to all those excited voters who posted their ballots early?
What happened to the tens of thousands of people who showed up for Harris rallies? And the skimpy crowds at the orange guy's rallies?
What happened to ALL THOSE REPUBLICANS who said they were voting for Harris because orange guy couldn't be trusted?
What happened to the 40 former cabinet members, intelligence officials, military leaders, and others who said he was unfit for office?
What happened to the proof that Russia interfered in 2016 and 2020 - and why aren't we checking on that in 2024?
Please tell me that the Harris campaign and the Department of Justice (or whoever oversees elections) is looking into this.

There’s not too much point in talking about the election anymore, but I think some people are misconstruing the results. 21% of the American population voted for trump. He won the popular vote with polls only recording a 43.7% approval rating, and he has never held an approval rating over 50%, something that Biden and (arguably) Harris have. He lost millions of votes from 2020 to 2024, it’s just that Harris lost millions more.
All this is to say that there is not some ‘silent majority’ of trump supporters in America. While some people will definitely be emboldened in their rhetoric and action by the results of the election, Trump was a deeply unpopular president, and is shaping up to be one again. He will enact unpopular policies that are against the will of the average American, but that doesn’t mean every American is out to get you. Engage with your local community, check in on loved ones, and maybe even take a look at local political offices in the coming few years. If you dislike the two party system, volunteer or donate to a third party. It’s altogether likely we see another 2022 situation, resentment grows further against the Republican Party, and the midterms offer a lot of opportunity to alternatives, at every level of government.
It may all feel like the end, but it’s not. We’ve been through it before, and no matter what we do, hate and ignorance will bleed through the cracks in society again in the future. It’s going to get better, but that’s easier to say if we make it better.

More local news from Southern California
An out-of-control wildfire fueled by heavy winds was tearing through a community northwest of Los Angeles for a second day Thursday after destroying dozens of homes and forcing thousands of residents to flee when it exploded in size in only a few hours. The Mountain Fire prompted evacuation orders Wednesday for more than 10,000 people as it threatened 3,500 structures in suburban neighborhoods, ranches and agricultural areas around Camarillo in Ventura County, California Gov. Gavin Newsom said in a statement. There was zero containment Thursday morning. The National Weather Service said a red flag warning, which indicates conditions for high fire danger, would remain in effect until 6 p.m. Winds were expected to decrease significantly by Thursday night but humidity levels will remain critically low, forecasters said. Officials in several Southern California counties urged residents to be on watch for fast-spreading blazes, power outages and downed trees during the latest round of notorious Santa Ana winds.

Public Health policies are necessarily one-size-fits all. They are monitored scientifically to ensure that overall they are doing what they're intended to do. This policy cannot account for individual differences. If you are vaccine-injured or chemically sensitive, talk to your doctor about declining the shots. I have been vaccine-injured twice, and I was not required to complete the Covid series.
ps -- I have also had Covid, twice. My antibodies should be plenty high. This doesn't mean I am endangering anybody.
For years now, I have been railing against the Republican Party as a literal – literal – Party of Plague. In these closing days of the campaign, they have quadrupled back down on this in ways that will kill millions of Americans.
Not “might.” Will.
Appointing RFK, Jr. as czar of public health and letting him “go wild” will kill millions. Again, not might: will. Not immediately, no, but over time. Trump himself is utterly refusing to promise he and his party won’t ban vaccines and said on Sunday that RFK Jr.’s pledge to eliminate fluoridation of water on day one “sounds OK to me.”
If they do this and make it stick, millions will die. And an outsized number of them will be children.
Courtesy McNadoMD on Mastodon, here are a few of the diseases mass vaccination eliminated from American life, and which banning vaccination will bring back, along with some of their symptoms and progression paths.Howdy folks! Friendly neighborhood ER doc here. Did you know that Trump’s folks want to take vaccines off of the market? That means you can’t get a shot even if you want one. Did you know that the tetanus shot is a vaccine? If you want your kids to be safe from lockjaw (caused by tetanus), you want vaccines to be available. You know what else is a vaccine? Rabies shots. If a rabid dog or bat bites your kid, do you want your kid to be able to be treated before they die of rabies?
Lockjaw and rabies:
Diphtheria:
Whooping cough:
Polio:
You get the idea, right?
These aren’t the only ones. These are just a few of those less often mentioned in these modern times, because people have forgot they exist.
When I say the Republican Party is a Party of Plague, when I say it is a goddamn death cult, I mean every single one of those words in every way you might think.
They are promising economic ruin and they are promising ethnic purges and now they are promising mass death of children.
All while killing pregnant people for their vile sense of domination, of course. Let us never forget that, since their families certainly won’t.
One of the things their apologists keep saying is that “Trump doesn’t mean it” and “Trump won’t do it,” and “That’s just Trump being Trump,” and they talk about “Trump derangement syndrome,” and say that we’re stupid for believing what their candidate fucking says he’ll do, and meanwhile, they get enraged about shit they completely make up about us and the candidates who are with us.
We react to things their candidates promise. They react to shit they make up wholesale about us. We are not the fucking same.
If only the political press would catch on to that fact.
The very last day of a campaign is a pretty lousy time to bring up another topic, even if it’s not really new. But this is, again, so murderously psychotic that I can’t not bring it back up.
Maybe you can bring it up, too, on this final day of this hellish and evil campaign, this Monday, November 4th, 2024.
Zero days remain.
It is Lastday.

THE TWO-PARTY SYSTEM IS ORGANIZED WARFARE!!
In the lead-up to the recent election, feeling coerced as so often before by the forced binary choice of our Two-Party system, I heard someone on Youtube comment that this system was actually set up by the Constitution. Maybe this was obvious to anyone who received a proper Liberal Arts education, but I attended a gods-forsaken high school on the outskirts of L.A. back in the early Sixties and we never got any content beyond the Dred Scott decision. So I had to do a little digging.
The two-party system needs to be compared to a Proportional Representation system, ie the Parliamentary systems in use elsewhere around the world, where numerous splinter parties contend with each other in the legislative body. While more representative, this leads to frequent stalemates and legislative collapses, with subsequent physical rows and sudden government failures. By contrast we can say that our system, as much as it vexes us, has held continuity for 235 years, even, in the North, through the American Civil War and periodic changes in the composition of the parties.
The article which clarified this for me was found on the Encyclopedia Britannia site, "Two-Party System." The idea was to build parties strong enough to take full control and execute their policies unopposed for their term of office. To do this they must build coalitions able to achieve 51% or more electoral success. This is done by a "winner take all" rule. Contending factions must somehow contrive to work together to achieve a coalition that can take power and administer it effectively.
Under this system, Third Party contenders can split the factions just enough to make the whole configuration untenable. Seeing this vulnerability can inspire upstart movements, but overall the Two-Party system has proven itself durable and resilient, as much as its contradictions vex us all.
I have a predilection for third-party politics myself. Given these considerations I would suggest third-party activists and other dissidents work both outside and inside the parties to spread and promote their viewpoints. I feel this political divide affects all areas of our country, fomenting cultural divisions and prejudices that affect us all, all of the time.

Please don’t relapse because of the election.
Please don’t relapse because of the election.
I know feeling despair and or out of control is one of the biggest triggers out there and this is not an easy pill to swallow.
But continuing to thrive while Trump and his supporters rely on your downfall is the best way to tell them all to go fuck themselves.
It’s okay if you see this too late and you have already relapsed because of the election. Just please try your best to not let the failure in democracy lead to a failure in recovery. Relapse is normal, this election is not.
Please stay safe and stay with safe people. It’s okay to miss work or take off school tomorrow if that is an option. This is emotionally taxing and highly stressful. Take care of yourself. Thriving right now is the best revenge you can get on Trump and republicans.

Jill Stein is once more trying to insert herself into a very close race. Yes, Israel Genocide is issue one, but with slivers of percentiles at stake she is making the situation worse. Her best power move would be to negotiate with Harris for her support. Harris must be shown that she cannot continue Biden policies on this issue.

hi please consider sharing these two trusted mutual aid funds to help with disaster relief in the appalachians/the southeast U.S. after hurricane helene. Many towns in the appalachians have been wiped out entirely and/or have been landlocked by landslides with no power or cell signal, and are only reachable by air. all roads to Asheville are blocked or gone entirely. Chimney Rock had much of it destroyed. Many places in the southeast other than the Carolina mountains, especially Florida, are facing much the same. it will take a long time to rebuild, especially the roads, but for now please considering sharing or donating to help people in need who are trapped or lost their homes and loved ones.

Hurricane Helene devastates western North Carolina (Updated)
Things are unimaginably bad in western North Carolina & far eastern Tennessee right now. Whole towns have been swallowed by landslides, mudslides and floods. That's Chimney Rock, NC, below; photos taken from same location after/before the storm.
Interstate 40 is impassible at the Tennessee/North Carolina border, due to the eastbound lanes being washed into the Pigeon River. (See above photo.) Essentially all roads are closed in the region. 400,000+ customers are reported without power, and cell towers are damaged or down, so nobody can reach anyone, and we don't know the full scale of the damage yet.
Shared by North Carolina's Weather Authority page on Fb 9/28:
“I’m sorry to text so early. Our friend, Steve, Black Mountains Police Chief, got home this morning to get some rest and then he’s headed back to Black Mountain. He’s been up for 72 hours evacuating and rescuing. It’s catastrophic in that area. Montreat and Swannanoa are gone. Neighborhoods are gone from flooding or mudslides. They’re having to leave bodies behind, houses are on fire. There’s no communication so people that need to be rescued can’t call for help so they have no idea where to look. The flood current is so strong and they weren’t able to save some people that were in their cars. No one even knows this is going on right now because of having no communication. We’ve been watching the news since we woke up this morning and it hasn’t even been mentioned. So many prayers are needed. My heart is so heavy.”
