morning routine ideas 🥞🫖
how you spend your morning dictates your whole day. create a relaxing structure to truly get yourself ready before heading out into the world ♡
wake up early; before 8am.
don’t go on your phone. right when you wake, bask in the silence and background noise.
meditate by focusing on your breathing.
say affirmations to yourself: “i have woken up in my desired reality. today will be a good day. i am okay. i’m healthy, beautiful, and inspiring. something amazing will happen to me today. i am kind and gentle towards myself.”
stretch!
open up any blinds to let the light in
make your bed. tidy up your space.
say hello and cuddle with your pet(s)
wash your face & brush your teeth
walk your pet(s)
make a simple breakfast and drink water and/or tea and eat it outside or looking out the window.
journal. self reflect, how you feel, what you’d like to accomplish, etc. make it a goal to be more kind to yourself and keep your thoughts in check.
read a few chapters of your current read.
what are some things you need to get done today? make a plan and set out to get it checked off.
exercise, try a new routine.
choose an outfit, do your hair, try some new looks for the season. have fun. try new things, who knows? maybe you’ll end up loving it.
go on a walk in your neighborhood.
get in 10,000 steps
buy yourself flowers.
light a candle
put on your favorite feel good songs. let yourself go and freely sing and dance to it.
begin your studies.
rest if needed!
try a new recipe
spend time in nature

It’s okay to feel lost:
doubting yourself is natural, but you have to make sure to always find yourself again. Here are some things I would recommend someone to do if they are feeling lost or down ♡
1. Journal:
keeping all your thoughts in your head is so much different then writing them down. In your head things aren’t really concrete, and don’t make much sense. Putting these ideas into paper helps you organize them and see them more clearly. Once you have them written down put them into different categories, reflect on them, wonder “why do I feel like this”, “where are these negative emotions coming from?” Try to look for something that may be triggering a negative thought process and keep that it mind while moving forward.
2. Create some art:
When you can’t seem to put your thoughts into words art helps you release these emotions in a different way. What you paint or draw should be abstract, simply follow your intuition and do whatever feels like. Let what you feel chose the colors, the patterns, the brushstrokes. Put some music on in the background while you do this, let this be a fun calming experience. Creative expression helps you reduce stress, anxiety and improves your emotions and immune system. Because of this, if you are ever feeling down making some art is a great idea.
3. Reflect:
Grab your journal, a notebook, a laptop, or whatever you can write on. Now that you’ve recognized what you feel it’s time to realize that you have more control than you think and that you can move foward. Make a diagram, write down certain habits in your life that push you down, on the middle write habits that you want to keep, and on the other side write certain habits you would like to have. Your habits heavily influence your emotions, for example using social media a lot may not seem that bad, until you realize that you constantly compare yourself to many of the accounts you follow. If this is your case, in the new habits column write down that you want to use social media less bad try to find a new habit you can have instead.
4. Read:
Plenty of times your mindset will be pushing you down. Changing the way you think is difficult, but reading some personal development books is sure to help out. There are plenty of books out there that offer new perspectives on life. It’s difficult to cope with feeling lost, but reading may just brighter up your attitude and give you a new point of view on how to improve.
5. Meditate:
Meditation can really help you clear your mind and get you ready for the actions and steps you need to take. Wether it be doing some yoga, or listening to a guided meditation online, these help you go towards a mindful life. It is crucial that you listen to your body and your thoughts, that you notice them and let go of anything negative. Meditation will help you live more presently and realize you don’t have to be stressing out about the past, the future, or what others may think about you. Overall one of these things aren’t going to completely change the negative situation you are going through, it will take some time and that’s okay. Using a combination of these different things you will start to notice how your mindset starts changing and how you are able to make some changes for the better. You are capable of so many incredible things and it’s fine to find yourself in certain rough spots, but you need to push foward and reach your full potential.
