This might be one of the last few posts I place on here before moving new story art posts entirely to just my art blog. It was a cool concept to do, make an account that’s only story blog based. Maybe I’ll come back to this format again but for now it’s just “why do I have two art accounts when most of my art is story related art” XD

The blog itself will be up still, just on hiatus if anything. Thank you to all who liked or reblogged from here, I attempted hard to get this to gain traction but like all social media, it’s a gamble what will be found and not.

Day of the Ocean, also known as Shukairou ne Ka, is a holiday in the world of Adrenea. At night, the moon becomes a pale blue and has a watery reflection as ghostly skeletal fish swim around in the sky. Many mourn on this day due to it’s haunting atmosphere, while others take advantage of this day to reflect on ancestors and past proxies of the Lenda (giants that sleep beneath each region of Adrenea).

A strange holiday full of floating dead fish called Kapyu. No one knows why outside of the sleeping land Giants called Lenda might have something to do with this phenomenon. Akin to ghosts, they float around in the sky under a (literal) blue moon. Some say it’s to mourn for losses, others find it to be a sign for the proxies of the giants, Nomeia, to follow their destiny.

I got an ipad... and procreate... and found my love for drawing animals again XD

I never realized how much I love drawing animals, especially when they are more proportionally accurate without too much trouble XD A lot has changed since A & B Sides pieces, not just my equipment but also how my story is coming along XD

My plans are still posting on here, but I'm hoping to get it into readable format soonish XD Currently it's a cobweb of intertwining plot lines, world building, and Silas (not pictured yet...) roasting people over an open fire... verbally not literally thankfully.

A side & B side

Friends since birth, Ru Si-u and Mikasa Seon have been together for a fairly long time. Despite Ru being a servant to the Seon household, Ru and Mikasa treated one another as equals. Their favorite passtimes as children is finding shells, catching frogs in rainy weather, and making stops to the market to sneak some candy. Nearing the day of her tenth birthday, Mikasa is murdered by an assassin. Ru knows who might’ve killed her and goes after the assassin, but is it really the best way to honor Mikasa’s death?

There’s nothing more that Daniel Archaicus wants in life: to be with his brother Cecil and to see the sea in the Seon kingdom. However things aren’t that simple, when he’s chosen as victor to be the next ruler of the kingdom of Gaelyra. To make things worse, the original heir, Lea Zhen, is not happy about this new arrangement. Squishy and cuddly, Daniel is full of secrets he doesn’t want to spill… or so he says.

Elegies of the Unconscious art series master post

Whoop! My first post series is finally done XD It's dumb that I'm making a post about this but it took me waaaay too long to finish just the text XD

I started digitally painting this back in November 2021 (maybe October... OG file is deep within my hard drive), having an idea just to do Hua. After finishing all of the quotes and texts, the characters opened up more about their lives and personalities, especially in clothing and hairstyle.

There might be more series in the future... but it depends XD I'm currently multitasking between this story and a DnD campaign. My optimistic hope is to write this story out... but we'll see if that's gonna happen at all XD I suck at writing, but I do want to try to see if I can get more out of this story than just art XD

Lea Zhen is the last but not least of the Elegy of the Unconscious series. Raised in Gaelyra, she’s a fierce young lady who would do anything to be queen. One day she was bested in a competition for the crown by a young man named Daniel Archaicus. Hoping to regain her status as the next heir, Lea helps Daniel learn how to be king; while also learning how to be a proper princess herself.

Delan Fei is a mysterious woman which not much is known about. Though some say she searches for a group who cursed her with youth. She doesn’t follow any kingdoms or wants to be associated with them. Some say, however, she used to be royalty of a long lost kingdom known as the Yun empire, but they’ve been gone for over a century. Delan was one of the toughest characters to write out, hence the long wait for the next post ^-^; The next one won’t be as long as this one XD

Elegies of the Unconscious - part 4

“Time flies fast in this world it feels like, I can’t live within the world without feeling out of it. Even when I lose loved ones, it doesn’t hurt as much anymore..."

A drastic change up from the fiesty Leia is Song, a medic who tries to remain neutral during a time of division. She loves the quiet side of life and spending time in the palace gardens. Not much is known about her outside of her reputation of helping in the North Gaelyra when they were in dire need of a medic. There’s a lot of serenity and peace when I was making her, she loves the flower motif and patterns.

Hua Xue Yun (298-328)

Hua Xue Yun (292-328) is the daughter of Sun Xie Yun and Wei Fu Yun in the Yun Empire. Despite being the second youngest, she packs a lot of intimidation and power even when she was a kid. To many, she’s a “cold hearted lizard” who can care less if she hurt your feelings. After losing her home to a mysterious group, she sets out to make her own kingdom. With the help of her friends, she establishes the kingdom of Gaelyra.

Officially introducing Hua Yun! A lovely queen who may attempt to murder you if you get in her way XD She’s the same Hua from the Elegy of the Unconscious series, except I modified her outfit more since I wanted to base it off of hanfu more. Through all of the trials she’s been through to be queen, Hua has ways to go before she can rule without problems. But she’s ready to face them all, right? Wherever she goes, Faolàn and Mikhail will be at her side to support her.

Elegies of the Unconscious - part 3

“After one hundred years of searching, I have finally found you. You did this to me— to everyone and messed with their lives! If I kill you now, maybe I’ll finally be at peace!”

Leia is a special lady who has some… issues with people XD She’s one of the few characters in this round that realizes what’s going on. Her hair color is dyed, normally it’d be a dark brown but she wanted to break free from the norm. Leia’s realization of what she’s going through is reflected in this piece in chaos and in the song "Leia" by Yuyoyuppe. Highly recommend XD
