Kind of a sassy post, but I am fed up of hearing people I know have been unforgiving, judgmental, and neglectful of ND people irl going off about caring because it’s a day they can Look Good - the internet is full of this every awareness day (dude I knew who I found out abused women literally would always make a “women I admire” post on International Women’s Day ���🤡)

In light of it being autism awareness day, please keep an eye out for people virtue signaling - they are Tiresome and use us and speak over us, all while falling short whenever the “support” isn’t public. Note how they treat people through the year, and ESPECIALLY low support needs autistics, as it’s harder to turn them into Pet Projects like they do with people who have high support needs autism. They are coming out with their Sweet Support today and it’s giving “omg we used to be so close, depression is so serious” after it was too late and they were uncaring and dismissive irl or at best, corporate pride month (they gain social points not money).

Support autistic people by treating us like people please.

Transman Sanji. Pre-Straw Hat joining transition. Him being so obsessed with presenting masculine, to be seen as a man, that he is lowkey sexist. Then came Bon Clay and the okamas. He realised that he misses femininity. That he can be a man and feminine. Gets in touch with his femininity. The 2 years pass and he goes back to presenting masc but he now knows that if he wants, he could dress up, don't have to feel the pressure of fitting into a box.

Love how not a single person in One Piece ever refers to Ace, Sabo, and Luffy as anything but brothers. They are not related by blood even a little bit, but everyone calls them brothers. Allies, enemies, random people, it literally doesn't matter. The marines be sighing like "this is a horrible family, Garp, your family sucks." No one questions it. Everyone is on board. It's so good.

platonically or romantically luffy n zoro ARE soulmates and just the first arc is enough for me bc you’re telling me luffy (who goes w the flow and finds his crewmates through his journeys) heard roronoa zoro’s name and decided “I want him on my crew” and actively sought him out? that they fought immediately in sync as if muscle memory of lifetimes together came back in an instant? that the demon of the east blue, a man so feared the entire town shakes at his name, sprawled out across from luffy at a restaurant took one look at the tiny dinghy in the harbor and laughed and hasn’t stopped laughing w luffy since? that in zoro’s highly romanticized memory of their first meeting luffy brings COLOR into his life? enough! enough!!
