Laska!  

“Come on! Can you’ll walk a little faster? It’s right around the corner” I couldn’t stop my feet from running. There was a murmur in the air - “You may say I’m a dreamer.” My happy feet did a skip and ran faster. As I turned the corner, there it was, in all it’s street glory. Covered top to bottom, left to right in every colour one could imagine. All You Need Is Love, War is Over, Laska (Love in Czech) were just some of the words that jumped out at me. I was finally here, finally at The John Lennon Wall.

The simplicity of the Wall pulled everyone towards it. Being a huge tourist attraction it was still not cordoned off as one. It was a part of the Prague streets. A part of innumerous artists. Some playing tunes, some swaying and some becoming immortal on the Wall.

I couldn't help but smile from end to end (no wonder my pictures came out so good). A shutter clicking here, paint splashing there, spray cans being shaken, guitar strings being strung, gleeful conversations, melodious voices - oh it was intoxicating!

A dream you dream together is reality. The Wall really did make all of Lennon's words come to life.
