Balsamic vinegar is one of my favorite things in the Universe. Right up there with BJs and foot rubs. I never eat a bowl of plants without it. I usually lay down serious bucks for the real stuff. Got this on sale. WHITE balsamic vinegar. It can't dance and doesn't realize how privileged it is. I did a spoonful and it's delicious. Not sure how authentic it is, though. Gonna pour it all over my next bowl of plants.

This is my dog Daisy. I have had her for about 4 years. She is the smartest dog I have ever known. She looks both ways before crossing the street, even when excited and chasing a squirrel. She clearly understands over 30 English words, putting her vocabulary above President Trump’s. Today I was bringing my new dog Sammi into the house. I have a big fenced in yard. She spotted a rabbit and bolted. She was gone over an hour. I will do many things, but chase something is not one of them. Finally, I let Daisy out and she ran around the neighborhood, found Sammi and actually brought her home, dragging and nudging her by her collar. It was extraordinary.

Fuck yeah, Daisy.

We agreed to take in 1,250 refugees held in offshore Australian detention centers? For what reason, again? Isn't Australia a modern, wealthy country like us? Have at it.

The whole thing is weird. Of course the press has to spin it to ugly Trump. “He’s destroying our relationship with Australia!!! OMG!!”

So here’s what’s been happening: Death and Murphy’s Law in full force. My son’s first’s serious girlfriend died. She remained good friends after the breakup. She was a sweetie. And so young. 23. With a toddler. Very sad. Very, very sad. An acquaintance of mine was murdered right across the street. My dog Duke died. My truck broke down. All three of my computers died. The weather has been shit. Snow and cold.

I am officially miserable. I no longer wanna leave the house. I wanna just stay in bed.

So far, the worst Winter of my life--and there’s been over 40 of them.

Here's my cat, Boomerang. We named her that because she was a stray and kept coming back. Feeding her may have had something to do with it LOL. Had her for almost a decade now. She eats on the washer so the dogs won't fuck with her. She got in a fight recently and has scratches on her nose.
