don't really post here anymore, but my mom and I made a pumpkin cheesecake with gingersnap cookie crust, and everyone raved about it. Followed this recipe, but added grated ginger and cinnamon to the crust because the gingersnaps we bought were on the bland side.

I also would have used either fresh spices (maybe essential oils?)or more of the pumpkin pie spice because I think ours was older and losing its flavor (thankfully the crust with the added ginger and cinnamon bumped up the spice flavor). I also forgot to grate some nutmeg onto the top.

Finally got around to drawing my OC Elias Graves again. Face shape and hairstyle look a lot better than my last drawing of him because I learned to actually use references! What a novel concept!

He's a witch (gender-neutral usage), and was originally conceived as an MCU OC before most of their stuff was mediocre (though Agatha All Along absolutely slapped). Mostly he's been a Beetlejuice the Musical OC because I became a BrightJuice simp and couldn't stop myself from shipping Graves with BJ.

These are really more "for fun/what if" theories I thought of than legitimate predictions, tbf. Nothing serious.

The final Splatfest in Splatoon has always dictated what the next game will be.

Marie winning in Splatoon 1 made the main story in Splatoon 2 about saving Callie.

Chaos beating Order in S2 dictated the overall theme of Splatoon 3.

Realistic theory: The setting of the game will either be in the past (prequel), the present/near future, or future (futuristic sequel).

Unrealistic theory: Past = Splatoon 1 remake (with modern mechanics/graphics/etc.), Present = Porting Splatoon 3 to the new Switch, Future = Splatoon 4.

Talking to my mom and really coming to the realization that a huge part of my childhood was destroyed when JoKe Trolling came out as a miserable, bigoted hag. Literally going through the five stages of grief about losing HP, even as a cis guy.

I haven't given her my money since like 2018-2019 or so, but I absolutely can't re-read any of the HP books; they've been completely ruined for me, which sucks because the movies and books were such a huge part of my entire adolescence.

Updated teams. Giving Wikstrom a (Eviolite) Doublade because I gave his Klefki to Diantha feels weird, but Eviolite Doublade is legitimately good, and it means the knight guy has another sword mon, so...

over 3 years of working on this hack and these teams have now been burned into my brain...

I'm not one to judge what Pokemon someone uses on their team, but watching two separate people sweep through the latter half of my X/Y hack with Aegislash hurts my soul a little...

Ended up making Diantha lead when a TWave/Swagger/Spikes/Foul Play Klefki (changing Wikstrom's lead to an Eviolite Doublade) because I realized that the E4+Champ in my X/Y hack was a fair amount weaker than that of my OR/AS hack, and I put a disclaimer on the hack's PokeCommunity page, essentially saying "hey, I didn't nerf Aegislash in this hack, so I would probably avoid using it if you want any sort of challenge"

Finally, FINALLY, I beat the Triumvirate.

Almost glad my mom invited her friend to come with us to see Beetlejuice Beetlejuice tomorrow because my selective mutism will prevent me from talking about the musical nonstop on the way there.

Suffice it to say, my BJtM hyperfixation hasn't completely left 🙃

(and yes I still think about my BJtM OC often and do want to write something, but nothing good comes to mind)

artists like "just a doodle. just a quick sketch. Just a scribble" and it's a fully-colored comprehensive drawing of characters with backgrounds, multiple outfits, many expressions, etc.

Meanwhile I've only been able to successfully draw my OC once and it still looks like trash

Of the musicals my mom and I have watched together at home (slime tutorials, proshots, adaptations, etc.), the SpongeBob Musical on Prime/Paramount was the only one so far she actually requested to watch again.

Which is fair. It has no right being THAT good.
