The Next 50 I've had the notion for quite some time that I want “Grams” and I to be around long enough to know ALL of our GREAT-grandchildren. Now that our first grandbaby has arrived, I truly want it to be reality. So, I'm on mission to do whatever it takes so that we will be around to know all of them. See, I only had a few short years with my parents. Even less with my father's parents, and I never knew my mother's parents. So, this is now my motivation and my inspiration. I want us to experience all of those “grandparent” things that they never had a chance to. The first day of school, ball games, birthday parties, staying over when mommy and daddy need a break, and that's just the beginning. So, bring on the good and the bad. The overwhelming joy and the broken hearts. Our Children

How many times have you told your kids "Well, when I was your age...". Hey, guess what? They don't live in that world. Never have, never will.

We may not fully understand this crazy world we now reside in, but we should fully embrace it. A world where a wealth of knowledge is literally at our fingertips.
