Celebrating Pokemon day with my favorite Pokemon line the Popplio line

These three mean so much to me

If you're intrested in me rambling about my favorite pokemon and my adventure with it it tis here

When sun and moon was revealed I was a big fan of Litten. Fire starters were some of my favorites but as I got more excited about Litten I saw people talking about the hate people had for Popplio it made me feel bad for the poor thing I always had a soft spot for the underdogs so I decided I'd choose between Litten or Popplio depending on their final evos

Then the evos were revealed and I saw Primarina I learned of its design inspirations and I was so excited I've always loved mermaids as well as selkies and Primarina was everything I could've hoped for in a mermaid pokemon when I got the game I named my Popplio after my favorite mermaid Ariel

At the time I didn't know a lot about the friendship mechanic in the games and I would always give attention to my pokemon I've always been sentimental

during the fight with the first Hau's grandfather Ariel had already evolved into a Brionne so she had a fairy move to combat against his Crabrawler's fighting type the fight was at a 50\50 that I'd win I was really nervous because Ariel went second in the turn order and all my other Pokemon had fainted but when I thought she was about to faint Ariel's friendship mechanic kicked in she held on so I didn't worry and dealt the finishing move and I won I was so shocked and happy

Ariel even though she's only code and pixels meant so much to me when I played moon for the first time as a middle schooler it's part of why I love pokemon sun and moon so much as well

This time I'm doing something a bit different this is the start of some Sonic oc design adopts these will be free unless stated otherwise though I've come up with a twist

I've been feeling shitty with everything that's been going on and the thought of outliving the people who make me live in fear comforts me a little. People who hate any minority want them permanently removed from the face of the world and I think being alive is enough if we can't do anything to fix our circumstances.

I found the live version of Wait for me from the London Hadestown cast and the man who plays Orpheus made me think of Sam and Frodo I couldn't get it out of my head so I had to draw it

One more silly thing before bed I wanted to test out the framing mechanic in ibis paint so I just drew two sillies with that kiss yippie tiktok meme that is all
