if someone talk in way that is hard understand or " word salad " , and want answer with something snarky or rude : should not , actually ! if can not think anything to say , should just not say anything .
at best , maybe engage with spam bot and get harmless laugh . but at worst , hurt actual person , who could have hard time for reasons like :
very tired
not sober
brain injury
active psychosis
active mania
AAC user ( hi ! )
cognitive disabilities in general
and more !
should just be nice . hurt very much when make sincere effort communicate , but people just point and laugh because seem loopy and broken .

No one will care but I MADE ROULADEN FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY AND I AM REALLY PROUD IT TURNED OUT AMAZING
the potato dumplings, however, were a bust. but!!! a compromise of rice and instant mash (comfort foods) will be the starch next time.
I'm making red cabbage to add to it tomorrow!
And if I can get an order set up and maybe write a little before bed, I'll be Reagan-ing (30 Rock reference)!

Hiya, I'm still around. Been playing some monster hunter when I'm not just trying to recover.
I don't like to complain, but I went through a few years of instability in my housing and I have some really bad mental health issues because of it. I am safe now, but recovery is long.
Anyway, I am still around and alright, if anyone was worried. My seven year old 65 pound dog slipped a disk a few days ago and she's only finally recovered. I spent two days hand feeding her and lifting her onto comfortable surfaces (she's a pit shepherd mix we rescued after my in-laws passed away. See how complicated it is? Lol.)

This is a PSA from your old friend Cognito:
Make sure you're in the right therapy. Most therapists only offer CBT. Cognitive behavioral therapy is about behavioral modification. That's great, if you are the cause of your mental issues at the moment. "Why do I do x" is CBT.
It's actually really shitty if you problems are someone abusing you or a medical condition, in my experience. Maybe it'll "train" you to WORK, but if that's a measure of a person, you'll work till you're 30 and have a breakdown trying to mentalize away trauma.
Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) is much more appropriate. Or even grief counseling can be better than CBT for some issues.
Do you feel like therapy is a blame game? It's probably you have a bad therapist who won't admit you're over their skill level. In my experience they're never honest at their own inadequacy.
And why do they keep you? Booking hours to they can go on for their degree. A lot of you are like me and usually assigned a new therapist just coming out of college (now I get ones younger than me, that's a fun experience) who aren't ready for someone who has had trauma and are over their heads.
I've traumatized therapists with my story because a lot of them aren't equipped for issues outside of selfmade ones. Many of them are more privileged too, so when I come across class things they have no real understanding, how can they help? And it's hard to find someone who can understand and also get a degree at a young age (usually have to be an older student cause of life).
So ask your therapist questions about your psychotherapy. Push for another kind of you're like me and CBT only helps you learn how to mask until everything goes wrong (because none of it is in my control and CBT don't address that reality at all).
And I'm sorry for all of you like me who have gotten baby's first therapist who made you feel both like a fool and like the therapist couldn't handle one day with your life!

For today's video game you haven't played or heard about, we have Unholy Heights!
A fun tower defense and almost a pet sim. I really recommend it. I'm crazy about the interactions between the critters.
Basically you house various creatures like these

It's really cheap, I have it on my 3DS even, I think there's also a GOG copy. The progression is fun and every "type" of creature has I think four "subtypes" which is really fun and I don't want to spoil too much!
