Burrito Bowls
1 cup uncooked rice
1 cup salsa
3 cups chopped Romaine lettuce
1 can whole kernel corn, drained
1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
2 Roma tomatoes, diced
1 avocado, halved, seeded, peeled and diced
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
CHIPOTLE CREAM SAUCE
1 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon chipotle paste
1 clove garlic, pressed
Juice of one lime
1/4 teaspoon salt, or more, to taste
Cook the rice, whisk together the cream sauce, add your favorite meat or keep it vegetarian.

Day One Starting off the day with my Plexus Pink Drink and Bio Cleanse.
In a bit I will have my first green juice: 2 Pears 1 in. Ginger Root 3 Carrots 1 Lime 2 Apples 2 Handfuls of Baby Kale 2 Handfuls Spinach
Then in a couple of hours I will have my sweet fruity juice: 3 Pears 4 Apples 3 Carrots 1 Lime 1 Orange Handful of Red Grapes
My next green juice is the left over Sweet Fruity Juice with extra apples, pears, kale, and spinach.
Then Warm Lemon and Cayenne Pepper Water: -Lemon is a natural detoxifier as vitamin C transforms toxins into digestible material. In addition to vitamin C, lemons are also packed with antioxidants and electrolytes including potassium, calcium and magnesium. Lemon is also known to stimulate the liver’s natural enzymes by helping to oxygenate the body.
-Cayenne pepper stimulates the circulatory system by opening the capillaries, aids digestion, and helps regulate blood sugar. Furthermore, and very importantly, it increases the temperature of your body and kick-starts your metabolism, which, yes, can help you to lose weight over time.
Following the water we will be having two more drinks: 1. Another Green Juice 2. Almond/Coconut Milk

Detox Challenge
So not only am I taking my Plexus Journey more seriously, but Jacob and I have decided to start a 15 day juice detox. Which is going to suck. After the 15th day (if we make it) we will go back to eating healthy solids (chicken, brown rice, fruits and veggies). Then we will try to do a second detox lasting 30 days. We will hopefully work our way up to a 60 day juice detox sometime this year. Let the bitching begin.
I have posted some of our juicing recipes on my Tumblr and we will be taking pictures to embarrass ourselves and telling y'all all about how miserable we are. Yay!
