haven't fully decided what actual canon details i'll have but my horrid amberchase fic definitely happened and V has a very very long list of lingering issues related to it. oh yeah and Rachel's dead. bc i need to give Victoria as many emotional issues to rot amongst as possible <3

they run into each other at a bar bc Vic decided to drink herself stupid somewhere other than her couch for once. she sees Kate from across the room and thinks wow why does looking at that hot girl make me feel like I've committed a crime against god? but then the hot girl comes over and calls her by name and ohhh oh no, oh fuck, That's Why, is it too late to down a shot and sprint for the door?

through means i have yet to decide upon they wind up in like. a half-sexual d/s dynamic that can be described as "me and the bad bitch i pulled by being a sad sick dog."

but Kate is too busy pulling next level 4D chess sadism like making Vic eat dinner with her sitting across from each other and not letting her get up from the table for a while under the unspoken yet suffocatingly obvious notion that Vic can't be trusted not to run off and throw it up. Or tricking her into meeting up with Chloe for the first time in years bc Chloe's been wanting to reconcile for ages but couldn't get ahold of her. Or forcing Vic to let her help straighten out the depression pit her apartment has turned into. and also ordering Victoria around like a dog too ofc there's plenty of that <3

Chloe pops up a lot, much to Victoria's displeasure; she's really truly perplexed as to why either of them are making an effort to look after her. the first time Chloe sees Victoria again she tries to play it cool on the outside but when she gets home she cries to Max about how with her hair getting long & dishevelled and her cheeks all sunken like that Victoria looks a bit like Rachel in the junkyard

Kate has 2 rabbits now and Vic is really nervous around them bc she's half convinced she'll hurt them just by breathing too hard but they both like her a lot. she has bunny emojis next to Kate's name in her phone but she doesn't let anyone see that lmao

Screeming Until Dawn chapter five: "The Lost Children" is up.

Story Summary: A spin-off and midquel to Unlife is Strange, and part of "The Fog of Worlds Saga"

In 2011, Kirby Reed pulled through a brush with death, and dreamt she was a girl named "Sam". In 2015, Samantha Giddings pulled through a brush with death, and dreamt she was a girl named "Kirby".

In 2016, both Kirby and Samantha have put those "dreams" behind them, and with the radical changes in their lives, tried to focus on their college career. But when an unfamiliar voice calls Sam "Kirby", and Kirby "Sam" both girls set out on a mission to get to the bottom of these dreams.

A mission that causes the lives of Kirby, Sam and their places in their world to blur, as something from beyond calls to them.

Author's Note: Sorry I didn’t get to this post as soon as the chapter was up. But to recap from the previous —

1. We are going to be looking a little more into the supernatural angle these current Ghostfaces' have. Also we got new lore in the form of an In Universe movie called The Lost Children — a controversial lost/cancelled production partially filmed in Woodsboro, and a MacGuffin tying in to the Children of Ithaqua. 

There’s a lot to go over in that department, but it’s best you read at your own pace.

2. A reason it takes so long for me to write this story is having to do segments where Sam and Kirby go through their own versions of the same day. I plan on dropping that from this chapter onward; instead we’re gonna have more of Sam and Kirby experiencing each-other’s day and seeing their lives through the other's eyes.

It'll look something like this.

3. Subplots. We got like four of them. See the main threat is not the usual Ghostface duo, but a series of stalkers following Sam/Kirby’s friends or loved ones at different locations to hold over her head. Some of which have a personal agenda for getting involved in the game.

I didn’t start this fic expecting it to be a Sidney, Dewey and Gale story. It still isn’t but as I wrote on, they’re becoming more important than I intend. Writing’s funny that way.

While Kirby is mostly isolated from the others, Sidney, Dewey and Gale are of course caught up in the investigation following the disappearance of Jill’s comatose body. I’m gonna try to keep them directly out of Kirby's business, but they have someone keeping eyes on them.

Unlike past Ghostfaces’ they usually contend with, the mastermind here is pretty forthcoming about what they want.

On the Life is Strange side of things, following their hooking up in Unlife is Strange, Kate and Victoria have moved in together in Seattle. In the wake of Kate’s parents’ nasty divorce, she and Victoria have her kid sister Lynn staying with them.

Due to Mrs. Marsh having a spiteful fling with a younger man — a childhood friend of Kate’s no less — Kate won’t let Lynn speak to their mother. This coupled with resenting Victoria for past bullying of Kate, causes Lynn to have anger issues and get in trouble at school a few times.

Unbeknownst to Kate, Lynn has been making regular messages and texts with who she thinks is their mother. But this “concerned friend” might not have Lynn’s best interests at heart. I also have a Pricefield/Amberprice subplot, but it’s too complicated to explain here and will be more important in forthcoming chapters. 

But back to the Until Dawn cast. I’m also cooking up some family drama for Jessica and Emily, giving them something outside of their relationship with Sam to chew on.

In Jessica’s case, let’s just say she has family in Woodsboro who are very interested in what she’s getting caught up with, and may know more than they let on.

I’ve also been wanting to include Sam Carpenter to some capacity, since she and Kirby know each other, but I also think I’ll end up getting her stumbled with Sam Giddings.
