I am the biggest sucker for Dazai with a cane. There's no fucking way he's not gonna be disabled after that shitshow, he gets a cane and he gets to be disabled and he gets chronic pain.

I don't want BSD to erase Dazai's really fucking bad run in with pavement in an elevator. Yosano can't heal him. He can't bounce back from that, not to mention how much pressure and pain he's put it on since.

He gets a cane. I will die on this hill.

Bc I suffer with it, I like to hc Chuuya with hypermobility (dazai too, but that’s a different hc altogether) and that some days it’s super angsty and he’s just so tired and he wishes he didn’t have to have days where he can’t even pick up his mug of coffee but then other times it’s just pure crack like some random grunt will walk into the cafeteria and see Chuuya holding the kettle bc “it’s warm” or sometimes Dazai notices that his bandages went missing and he later catches Chuuya swearing at his arms as he damn near tries to cut off his circulation but the best one in the eyes of the entire port mafia’s opinion was when Chuuya interrupted an executives meeting to ask if anyone was willing to lend him a bone saw to chop his own arms off at the elbow and Mori couldn’t tell if he was serious or not. M

I love hybermobile chuuya <3 tysm for sharing!!!

Dazai needs to buy that man some actual braces so he stops using bandages for that 😭 (things like wrist and knee braces can help with hypermobility right? I've read that, but if that's wrong please tell me and I'll fix the post)

I'm not sure if this counts as a disability, but I headcannon Dazai to have lazy eye! (amblyopia)

That absolutely counts! and tysm for sharing because I love any and all visual impairment related headcanons so much, so this makes me very happy hehe

I think it would be on the side that he covered with bandages while in the Port mafia, I'm not sure if it would've been there before or if it devolved due to the lack of using that eye, but either way I love the headcanon!

hihihi! i love this blog so i wanna share my atsushi hcs!! he has hermarthrosis-- even though he has had regrowth of limbs the joints are funky... and type 1 diabetes because i say so... and he has cptsd (canon). he also uses forearm crutches (to me..) i may draw some art and send it in...

Hey everyone, I love all the attention and love you guys gave this event, thank you so much ❤️ ive decided to turn this blog into a headcanon blog to talk about different disability headcanons for bungou stray dogs. I love that this community has had a space to share headcanons and express ourselves on this blog and I want to continue that. Day 7: Free Space - Undiagnosed Ranpo & Worried Dad Fukuzawa

For this day I was trying to do something with undiagnosed disability/ chronic illness. I think that most of us have had a time in our lives where we didn't understand what's going on and just wish someone would see what we're going through.

If you yourself are at a point in your disability journey without a diagnosis, please know your experiences are real and valid. Whether you have a diagnosis or not. And I wish all of you luck in your journeys moving forward <3

July 18th - Neurodivergency

WOOOOO I DID IT ON TIME!! My contribution for BSD disability week 2024!

Chuuya comes home from work absolutely done and overstimulated. It just so happens a certain detective was over, so Chuuya doesn't have to worry as hard over calming down. Not when Dazai helped make sure his needs were met, giving him plenty of space before being used as a substitute for a weighted blanket.

At the end of the school day, Aya has to wait to be picked up instead of walking home with her friends. Kunikida arrives in his car, having carved out time in his schedule to get her on the days when her dad can’t, which is most of them. Today, Dazai sits in the passenger seat, fiddling with the radio dial. He ignores Aya like he always does as Kunikida helps her into the car. He’s probably only here because he wanted to skip out on work. Kunikida says he likes to do that. Aya’s crutches go on the empty seat beside her, where Dazai’s cane is already lying. It looks less lonely now, at least. She wishes that were enough to make her feel better.
