Done a Looot of thinking and made the decision to drop Drix, who was one of my mains, and cut ties with the media the best I can. Idk man the idea of fictional cops just gets worse and worse in my head, I regret letting it slide in the first place mostly. Ultimately cops aren't f/oable to me. Not sorry about that. I am sorry about not doing this sooner, and frankly I'm most sorry about not making the decision to more clearly and explicitly reject insidious copaganda in the first place. Thrax enjoyers ur on thin ice but still I think we really need to carefully observe the media we engage with and how it affects our thoughts about the real world because fiction DOES affect reality. Not saying the other media I engage with is squeaky clean, but I mean. Lines can and should be drawn. At the very least, it's simply a personal comfort. Funky cells are not worth what the IP presents— and that is a sinister form of propaganda meant for children that implies that policing is necessary and inherent to the biology of a community. While I knew this, and did my best to rewrite the narrative for myself with a self insert that opposed policing and a plot that removed Jones and Drix from the precinct altogether, that is only my individual, noncanon addition to an inherently flawed narrative, and ultimately a means of reformism. ANYWAYS rant over lol ACAB includes Osmosis Jones as much as I wish it didn't sometimes.
